For out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks. Luke 6 45. Your mouth is not the problem, it's the revealer. What you say under pressure and frustration in unguarded moments is not random. It is evidence. Words are the overflow of what has been stored within. You don't speak what you want, you speak what you have. This means transformation is not about managing speech. It's about changing storage. You can rehearse right words, but if the heart remains unchanged, eventually what is truly within will surface pressure does not create what's inside you. It exposes it. The moment you are squeezed, the real content of your heart comes out. So the focus must shift, not how do I talk better? What am I storing? If bitterness is stored, it will speak. If fear is stored, it will speak. If truth is stored, it will speak. If the word is stored, it will speak A guarded tongue without a transformed heart is temporary control. A transformed heart produces effortless alignment. This is why God deals with the heart first, because once the heart is right, the mouth follows without striving. Pay attention to your words today. Not to condemn yourself, but to locate yourself. Your speech is revealing your condition. Don't just correct what comes out. Trace it back to what's within. That's where real change begins.
