The Blueprint to Change! Part 3
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The episode focuses on personal transformation, emphasizing that growth requires letting go of familiar but unhealthy versions of oneself, including habits, environments, relationships, and identities rooted in pain or fear. It argues that holding onto what keeps you broken can sabotage the future you are praying for, and that transformation often demands separation and the choice between comfort and change. Real change becomes visible in healthier reactions, greater peace, and stronger character. Citing 2 Corinthians 5:17, it teaches that in Christ old things pass away so new life can begin, presenting “The Blueprint to Change” as becoming who you were meant to be.

DorothyOne of the hardest parts about transformation is letting go of the version of yourself that can no longer go where God is taking you. People often talk about gaining new things in life, but growth also requires loss. Sometimes you lose habits. Sometimes you lose environments. Sometimes you lose relationships. Sometimes you lose identities you built around pain, survival, insecurity, or fear. And honestly, that process can feel painful. Because even unhealthy versions of ourselves can become familiar. But if you continue holding onto what keeps you broken, you will eventually sabotage the very future you are praying for. That is why growth often requires separation. Not everything assigned to your past belongs in your future. Some people only support the version of you that stays wounded. Some environments feed your dysfunction instead of your destiny. Some habits quietly destroy your growth while convincing you they are harmless. And eventually you must make a decision: “Do I want comfort, or do I want transformation?” Because you rarely get both at the same time. The beautiful thing about growth is this, real transformation eventually becomes visible. You begin reacting differently. Thinking differently. Handling pressure differently. Responding to offense differently. You begin valuing peace more than chaos. Wisdom more than impulse. Purpose more than validation. And little by little, you become someone stronger, healthier, wiser, and more grounded than you once were. Not perfect. But transformed. That is why I believe change is one of the greatest acts of faith a person can embrace. Because transformation requires trusting God enough to let go of who you were so He can build who you are becoming. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Notice that Scripture says old things are passed away. Transformation requires things to pass away. Old thinking. Old patterns. Old reactions. Old identities. Old cycles. But on the other side of surrender is freedom. The Blueprint to Change is not about becoming someone fake. It is about becoming who you were always meant to be.
