When you think about it, we are similar to the blind man in John 9. As Jesus began to speak over the man and administer the mud, the man could not see Jesus. Likewise, we cannot see Jesus either as He administers to our needs. However, are we also like the blind man and obey Jesus' commands? Or do we give way to the adage "I will believe (and obey) Him when I see Him?" Even after the religious elite saw the man twice following Jesus healing him, they did not believe him.
