Spiritual Awakening: The Ground of Love

Where is home? (Meditative episode. EP26)

OLIVIA FRAZAO

Receive the transmission of Divinity across the world, across cultures, calling you home and into peace, presence, and the heart. May every sacred portal be, as David Whyte says, your own "dreamladder to Divinity". May we all become multicultural and multilingual so that we can recognize and hear all of the languages of God.

This episode has a soft meditative feel but doesn't have to be listened to in meditation. You're welcome to multitask. Just make sure you stay open to soak up the blessings when you feel them coming your way :)

As a multicultural and multilingual person (in a globalized world where everyone is somehow global at least via our media, tech, and political/economic interdependence) I'm seeing more and more the beauty of the opportunity for all of us to become multi-lineage spiritually - or at least the opportunity to learn the very basics of each other's lineages so that we can have a deeper respect and recognition of the Oneness within the esoteric core of all spiritual lineages. A recognition of the multiplicity, and the One within the multiplicity. Not just for random anthropology, but as a way of enriching ourselves, connecting as brothers and sisters with fellow heart-beings around the world, and as a way of seeing the patterns of similarity across cultures, spiritually, where we can find this kind of like one meta-spirituality, revealing itself in all the overlaps, like a big spiritual venn diagram.

In every place, in every culture, in every lineage, we can feel all the different frequency ranges and we can feel through that light, whatever color it is, the bright white light that exists at the core of everything so that we are always home everywhere. And so that everyone and everything. Is an invitation to know each other, to know ourselves as each other. Everything is an invitation home. Welcome to the Ground of Love. I'm your host, Olivia Frazao. This is a podcast for people who are deeply dedicated to the spiritual journey. You are here for self-growth care, for others, and being of service to the world. This podcast is in service to you to help you remember who you are and why you are here, you will receive inspiration, clarity, and no BS Love. We are walking each other home. Let's begin. I feel like ultimately the greatest question. That we're all holding somehow, either consciously, subconsciously, or through different words, is the question, how can I get back home? How can I get back to home base? How can I feel whole How can I feel that feeling that I had when dot, dot, dot fill in the blank? How can I be back in that feeling that I had in that sacred moment when fill in the blank? And even if there aren't past experiences that we think of as these peak moments that inspire us, there is still this. Image or yearning for a future moment that will feel better than whatever this is, and not just because we want to feel better, this is bigger than that because even in moments of great joy, even if it might be less obvious, I think if we all look. We'll see that there's still a yearning or a question or perhaps a knowing that is knocking on our door home. What is that? What is that? Which all the greats, all the great masters and saints and gurus are not only talking about but emanating. Sometimes they don't even talk about it. Sometimes they're just quiet, depending on the person, and sometimes it's not people. Sometimes it's beings in the inner plains. Angelic forces. Depending on the tradition, we would call them deities. And if you're someone without a tradition or who prefers more agnostic language, we could call them archetypes or frequencies of coherence. It doesn't matter what the language is. And it doesn't matter the culture, and it doesn't even matter the historical time. There is a shared yearning, a shared path, a shared question, a shared pursuit that ultimately we all have as human beings at some point or another. That is revealed through all traditions, all lineages. I have been blessed to be guided by mentors and teachers and elders in many traditions, and they all point to the same thing. They all talk about the same thing in different language, whether it's different indigenous traditions that I've been blessed. To be shared with me, whether it's the deep esoteric truths of Christianity underneath the dogmatic teachings, or that deep truth within the yogic tradition of India, that the great masters are an emanation of. Or the fields and the wisdom shared in Buddhism through the many different lines of Buddhism, throughout everything that has been shared with me through all of these different lineages, what I bring forth as a reminder. An inspiration for each person listening. Here is the magic of the fact that no matter where in the world geographically, and no matter when in history, you can look at ancient Egypt. You can look at the Incas. You can look at places like Lemuria or Atlantis. You can look at native traditions that are very active today still, and ancient wisdom traditions especially in Asia that are very intact, everything saying the same thing. Can we have the capacity to each of us be translators? I do translation work on the level of language. I speak multiple languages. People ask me to translate from one language to the other. What I've noticed is we are all translating all the time, or at least it's a skill that I feel really benefits us when we use it or when we hone it, because real translation, even on a linguistic level, is a translation across cultures. When someone says something in one language. And I'm translating it to another language. I'm translating a cultural field and a cultural paradigm, a cultural way of thinking to another cultural field and paradigm and way of thinking. Translating only the words is not enough. Can we learn how to bridge? The realities that seem different on the outside. A cathedral might seem very different from, let's say a Hindu temple or the language used in, let's say Zen Buddhism, and the customs, the rituals are so different. From, let's say how the Mayans would do it, and yet can we all be translators? Can we all be bridges where we can actually find the common thread beneath the surface level, the form versions of God? And to notice that what is being spoken about, what is being transmitted through these rituals? It can be images, deities, objects, songs, sacred spaces, dances, myths, creation stories. Ways of moving energy through the body forms of prayer. As we become multicultural and multi lineage spiritually, we can learn how everyone speaks of God and we can hear God speaking itself through all of these. Forms that some might feel foreign to us if we're looking at the surface, just like a language might feel foreign to us if we don't speak it. But ultimately there's that one shared heart myriad expressions of the one shared heart and what would happen for world peace. What would happen if we made that effort. Each of us a little bit deeper to quote unquote, learn a new language to become fluent or at least conversational in different languages of God. To understand that there are fields upon fields of, let's say, different colors, different frequency ranges. That ultimately are like different colors of the light spectrum. The one absolute God beingness is bright white light, and each culture, each lineage within those cultures being an emanation of color, a certain frequency of God, nature. We have so many avenues home. We have so many avenues home, and they all lead to the same place. They're all emanations of the same thing. I'm baffled by the similarities that sometimes reveal themselves even on the surface level of the practices or explanations. Of how the energy body works, of how humans are a connection point or a portal, let's say, between heaven and earth, of how every culture has some form of father and mother God, of how across cultures, space and sky are considered the masculine and compassion and depth. Under Earth are considered the mother field. How? In every lineage there are deities that represent the same archetypes, deities of strength and protection, deities of wisdom and truth, deities of compassion, and warmth and acceptance and mercy. Deities of beauty and connection and relational love. And when I say deities, in some traditions they're called angels, and some traditions they're called gods. It doesn't matter. What any of these things are called, as long as we learn to speak multiple languages and we learn to hear the one deeper language, what is the gift that we can have in returning to trust? The lineage that we were given through our family and our upbringing through our ancestry. Sometimes those lineages have so much of a mess covering them over with social and political difficulties and distractions and miscommunication and misunderstanding, and sometimes we feel very alienated from the traditions that were given to us in our childhood or that are held within our ancestry because of these, let's say, sociopolitical ills that have contaminated the true. Through line of what these lineages are really here to emanate. Everybody knows that the name of God has been used in a false way for personal gain and violence so terribly often that sometimes we are. Alienated from what God actually is because of how the false version of God has been used and advertised as God. Even the word God is triggering to a lot of people because it's been co-opted by people who haven't honored what unconditional love really is. So can we reclaim what God really is? Can we reclaim the esoteric truth within every tradition, within every lineage, within every religion, the true spark, the true light. That's within sometimes a very distorted encasement or expression. So just like in people, we know that everyone ultimately is the divine spark of true beingness and unconditional love. Deep inside that everyone's soul is untainted. Even though on the human level, some people are in a lot of ignorance and meanness and all the rest. But we have the opportunity, we have the invitation, perhaps even the duty, to find that light of love and truth inside of ourselves and to find it in each other. We always have that invitation. And so when I'm talking about lineage here, it's the same thing. It's finding what is the truth on the inside of the lineage, not the outer. Physical, sometimes distortion. But if we can be, let's say detectives or on a treasure hunt for the true frequencies of the divine, for true home, can we first of all start at home? Can we start within our own biological lineage, the spiritual lineage that we've been given through our family so that we can honor our roots in that way. Not all the distorted versions of it, but finding the gift. Some people, for example, who were raised. In Christianity because of how much distortion has occurred on top of the true Christianity, there's an alienation from it, and we throw out the baby with a bath water. We run away from the whole thing because of all the distortions that are often in the church. Well, what is Christ consciousness actually through our own heart. Through our own inner inquiry, through our own opening and reaching deep inside and meditation, what might be waiting for us if we're no longer simply being reactive to the surface. But with discernment, we're sifting through and finding what the, the kernel of truth is, where we can find the through line, we can find the real river of light because it is here. So we don't allow the pains that have happened to be an excuse for our own alienation and self exile from the deeper streams of unconditional love that are waiting for us. And perhaps also we feel maybe from callings from past lives, maybe we feel a resonance with a spiritual tradition on the other side of the world, or from another culture, maybe indigenous cultures, maybe let's say a European person growing up in a Christian culture, feeling very called towards, let's say Hinduism, for example, maybe from so many lives. Lived in India and now let's say you're incarnated in France, and so maybe there is a dual calling. Because we're all ultimately multicultural, we all have the opportunity to be multicultural on a spiritual level and to speak multiple languages on a spiritual level because we all have these memories encoded in our field. From past lives of spiritual pursuit and spiritual knowledge and spiritual resources. So we have the gifts through our ancestral line that we can become curious to and open and receive and explore, and we have these latent memories. Of these paths that we have been walking for so many lifetimes in so many cultures and plans of existence that we can reconnect with, like opening a book that we've been reading and, and we just keep reading from whatever page we had left off at. I, so that's the invitation here today, that we're all looking for home and that home. Is everywhere. There are so many open doorways around the world, and they are all ours in the sense that the true heart calls to the true heart. The true heart within every tradition, the true heart. Within every sacred place in the entire world, whether it's a mountaintop or a redwoods grove, or a cathedral, or a hidden temple, or the ruins of pyramids in a jungle or a sacred river, portals upon portals are everywhere around us. Where the divine light of union is shining and waiting for someone to enter with honoring and reverence and deep listening and open heart, and an inner quiet enough to be in resonance with what we're all running around looking for, with what we're all running around and distracting ourselves from. Can we get together with each other, with people from different backgrounds, with people who call God all different names, with people who pray to all different forms of the divine and find that same one United heart space. Can every sacred song, every prayer, every mantra, be different languages of the same, ultimately the same words. They're all saying the same thing. And all these different words and all these different expressions, they're all saying, I love you. I love you. I love you. You are love. We are love together. I am you. You are me. You are this, we are all this together. We love you. We love you. We love you. You are held, you are guided. You are everything. We love you. We love you. We love you. You are loved. You are love. You are an emanation of this love. Every ceremony is a portal. Every sacred fire is a portal. Every church steeple is a portal. Every quiet, contemplative walk in nature is a portal. Every warm, peaceful moment looking into the eyes of an infant is a portal. Every true heart opened love making is a portal. Every mantra, every prayer, every sacred object, every honored crystal, every open heart is a portal. What is a portal? Open doorway. Open doorway where that which had contained itself within a shape can open and returned to the everything where that which limited itself as the little me contained fenced off can open the door. And breathe, and where the waters can flow again with no barrier, where release can happen. Unburdening, dissolution, where we can be filled with what we are, where we can be the emanation of what we are, where we can know ourselves as this togetherness. What is it like to meet each other in each other's pathways? To celebrate Shabbat when your friend invites you over to be with their family, to go to the prayer room in the airport during one of the Muslim prayer times and be in the field of devotion. How can we listen to the sacred music of another tradition and feel what is the frequency that this holds? And how can we remember or ask our family, how did my ancestors hold the concept of God? What did I do, or where did I go? Or where was I taken to when I was young? That felt peaceful. That felt like home. And this is very hard, but can we allow pain to be a portal too? Can we allow pain to be not somewhere we ended up, like when you're driving and get lost and feel like you need to turn around and go back, but actually a territory that we drive through, can we go through it to the light that's waiting for us on the other side? That might be different from the light that we left when we went into the proverbial dark forest or dark night of the soul, because we'll come out different on the other side. High likelihood, more deeply compassionate, maybe with more insight or wisdom. So where is home? How can the heart be. The most intimate doorway for each of us. Literally, the space in our chest, not the physical heart, the, let's say spiritual heart, and how can we see the heart in everyone and everywhere. How can we walk through the park and feel the central channel of the tree? Feel the heart speaking everywhere in the silence. And how can we feel God, nature, whatever you call that, shining, revealing itself in every place, in every culture, in every lineage, every opportunity. And how can we each be like spiritual anthropologists or detectives? With a magnifying glass that acts like a x-ray vision through the surface level of form, through what the mind sees or the eyes see on a treasure hunt for the deep emanation nation for the transmissions. And we can feel all the different frequency ranges around the world, across cultures, and we can feel through that light, whatever color it is, let's say the bright white light that exists at the core of everything so that we are always home everywhere. And so that everyone and everything. Is an invitation to know each other, to know ourselves as each other. Everything is an invitation home. thank you for being with me in The Ground of Love.
