Welcome to Never Enough, the podcast that's obsessed with obsessions: the things we love and why, the enduring interests that draw us in and keep us coming back for more.
I'm Joan Ruzsa and I am your host. My guest today is Jack Breakfast. Jack is a musician, writer, painter and photographer. We discuss birders vs bird photographers, the surprising joy of unreciprocated love, the art of narrative photography and the importance of maintaining a respectful distance from migratory/uncommon birds. We also spend a significant part of the episode talking about all of the times we have watched hawks devour their prey. The word viscera may have been used. Plus I get chastised for my improper use of the word sparrow. Vague nomenclature is no one's friend.
