I look forward to helping YOU become a Christ-Empowered Entrepreneur and Leader.
Hi there friend. I'm Kathleen Fischer. And today we are going to look at creating God inspired vision for our business that creates the confidence, courage, and power we need to succeed.
Have you ever noticed how easy it can be to create a vision for your business? A vision that you really are excited about. Uh, only to find yourself undone by the challenges that come up along the way.
Have you noticed in business culture, we are typically encouraged to look within ourselves for our business vision,,
rather than looking to God.
However, a vision that is created without God's clear leadership and confirmation. Creates an unstable environment where we struggle with doubt. Excessive stress. Disconnection from God. Vulnerability to Satan's attacks and a high rate of failure. But. A vision that has been created by God and confirmed by God. Creates an environment where we are confident because we know God is with us. We become courageous because we know he will help us.
And we become empowered by Christ in every day to overcome the obstacles so that we can successfully fulfill God's will for our business.
So I wonder. What would it be like for you to awaken each morning, knowing that you are partnering with God to fulfill his vision for your business and that Christ and the holy spirit will be with you every step of the way.
Would you have more peace? Would you be more courageous? Would you feel as though you have more capacity to work on the challenges you face? Perhaps you even have more joy as you experienced the Lord, partnering with you, helping you to succeed.
Well, If you'd like more of that in your business story, then stick with me while we look at five keys to creating a God-inspired vision that will bring you the confidence, courage, and power you need.
. Let's pray and then we'll get started.
Heavenly father. We thank you. That you have not left us to wander about on the earth, hoping to fulfill your will. You have filled us with your holy spirit. And given us Jesus Christ is our king to lead us and empower us to fulfill your will on the earth as it is in heaven. We thank you that as we look to you, you will gladly reveal your vision for our business. As well as provide us with all that we need to succeed in that vision.
Anoint us with the blood of Christ and open our hearts Father to receive understanding through today's episode. That will help us to partner with you. And the fulfillment of your will for our business. We ask for these things, Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
All right. Let's dive in.
There are many scriptures that set the stage for our conversation today for it is clear in God's word that he desires to lead us in his will for our lives and the work he's created us to do.
One of the scriptures that stand out in this are Jesus's own words, when he taught us to pray that God's will, will be done on the earth as it is in heaven.
A second scripture was spoken by Paul in Romans 11:36, where he says "for from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.
These scriptures, help us to remember that all things that we do are to come from God, be done through God, and be done unto God. For his glory.
So let's lean in to consider the problems that arise when we try to fulfill a vision for our work that was created a part from God. And how to solve these problems by learning to create all of the visions for our business with God. A little side note here. When I speak of God's vision for our business. I am not only talking about his big overarching purpose for our business. I am also speaking about the smaller visions we will set for a year. A quarter a month. And even down to a day. For in all that we do we want to be partnering with God. To receive his leadership for the work we are doing. So that we can enjoy the confidence, courage, and power that he will give us in that work. As we walk with him.
Let's consider a couple of stories
. First. I wonder if you've experienced the same thing I have. That within Christian business trainings, I've been asked to consider a question, phrased something like this. What do you want to accomplish over the next year or 90 days or whatever length of time we're discussing. From there we learned to reverse engineer the path that will equip us to achieve what we want to accomplish.
I've always been amazed by how easily God is left out of the equation. Even inside Christian business training.
When I first felt God's call to shift from life coaching to business coaching. Even though I had a degree in business and computer systems I really wasn't sure why he was calling me to coach within the business world.
It wasn't until I discovered the power of Romans 1136, combined with the wisdom that a business exists to solve a problem in the world that I was able to hear more clearly from God on this topic.
For again, Romans 1136 tells us that all things are to be from God through God and unto God.
So one day. When I heard someone talking on a podcast, say "a business exists to solve a problem in the world. I felt such a strong function within me to stop the podcast and ask God some questions.
I found myself saying, Father, what problem do you want to solve through my business?
And I was amazed by how quickly he answered when he said. My daughters whom I've called to business are struggling.
Because they are trying to create, the business for me. Through their own strength. Rather than through the power of my son. Jesus Christ.
I found myself taking out a pad of paper and I began to scribble notes that highlighted what he was revealing to me about the fears, overwhelm, and burden his daughters were experiencing as they sought to fulfill his will on their own. And his desire to set them free from that pain as they learn to become empowered by Christ. To fulfill as well.
I totally related to that pain. And thus began my own journey of learning to become empowered by Christ to fulfill God's will.
Since that time. The vast majority of Christian women I meet in business are struggling with the pain that God revealed to me that day.
Perhaps you can relate to the pain that God is talking about. And maybe a couple of little stories will help as well.
I've changed the names within the stories, but they're real-life examples of the pain we experience when we seek to pursue a vision that has not fully been created and confirmed by God.
Maybe you can relate with Molly. In that, you know, God. Called you to create a product for women. You received all the necessary training to be successful in creating that product but you struggle continually with doubt that this product is a value to your prospects. So you don't courageously lean in to market this amazing product.
And thus you have little to no sales. While Molly had gotten a green light from God on the idea.
She forgot to ask God why creating and selling this product mattered to him and to the women she was being called to serve.
Have you ever forgotten to ask God why he was asking you to create the product you were selling? Without God's WHY we will not have the confidence and courage to push through our fears to make sure that the product lands in the hands of the people God's desires. Forgetting to ask why is just one problem we will address in the five keys to creating God-inspired vision for our business.
Perhaps you can relate to Susanna. Who is incredibly bright, talented, and creative. She has a strong desire for creating business and isn't afraid to market the ideas she comes up with.
But her creative side has her chasing something new every quarter. And on many days, she is too paralyzed by the spin within her head to even work because she doesn't know what to focus on. So nothing significant comes out of all the creative genius within her. No one had ever shown her how to seek God's vision for her creativity in business.
So she was left to follow what she wanted. And that was hindering her from the success God had for her.
So how about we take a look at five keys to creating a God-inspired vision for our business. That will bring us the clarity that creates the confidence. The courage. And the power of Christ to help us succeed.
Here we go. Key number one. KNOW that God has a vision for your business. And he wants to reveal that vision to you so that you can be empowered by Christ and the holy spirit to fulfill it. We see this throughout scripture. But especially in Ephesians 2:10. Where it tells us that we are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works that God planned in advance for us to do.
Key number two. Trust that God will fill you with clarity and wisdom for his vision as you ask him because he has promised it in his word. For example. James 1:5 tells us if you lack. Wisdom ask God who gives generously to all without reproach. God is eager to give you the clarity and the wisdom you need to fulfill his vision. Key number three. And this is a biggie. Surrender your whole self to God. Your heart. Your soul. Your mind. And your strength. Letting him know that you are available for his will to be done over your will. As Jesus said, not my will, but thine be done. This is a critical key for so often we are truly in business for our own purposes and the fulfillment of our desires. Without realizing it, these personal desires block our ability to discern God's desires for our business.
Key number four. Ask God, what his will is for your business. And the projects you were to focus on in the days ahead. The following three questions are powerful ones that I've learned to ask God whenever I'm seeking his will from my work.
Number one. What problem do you want to solve in the world? To my business or through the projects you want me to do this year?
Number two. Why does solving this problem matter to you Father? It's amazing.
His answer will always involve the care of people. And the glory of his son.
Number three. Why are you asking me to do this? Huh. This question really helps resolve the issue of imposter syndrome and makes it clear that God is calling us to the work even if it involves skills we are not yet good at. Consider Gideon for an example.
Alright, Key number five. Listen and record what God reveals so you can create action together with Christ that will fulfill His vision.
Remember. God wants you to hear him and has created the ability for you to hear him through his indwelling holy spirit. You are his sheep who hears his voice.
As we use these keys to look to God to create a vision for our work we will come into an intimate alignment with God in our work that will create a sense of beautiful oneness with him in that work.
It will Kindle our hearts to pursue God because of our love for him and our desire to fulfill the good works he created us to do.
It will connect us with him in Christ through the power of the holy spirit so that we will be empowered to accomplish what we could not have done on our own.
It will fill us with confidence because we have taken the time to clarify and confirm God's will for our business.
And it will fill us with courage to do things that are bigger than ourselves, because we know that God is with us. And he will help us to overcome every obstacle that we will encounter along the way.
So, what would it be like for you to have a God-inspired and confirmed vision in your hands as you worked?
Can you imagine that you'd have more peace? More confidence. More courage.
And less stress. If you knew that you were partnering with Christ and receiving the daily power of the holy spirit to fulfill that vision.
Sister, god stands, ready to reveal his vision for your business and to empower you to walk that vision out in the days ahead.
I hope that today's podcast inspires you to turn to God to allow him to create the vision for your business so that together with Christ you can experience the peace, power, and joy of fulfilling God's will on earth as it is in heaven.

Father God. Thank you. That you don't want us to be left in the dark when it comes to your vision for our work. You are eager to illuminate the path forward as we come to you with surrendered lives and open hearts.
Thank you for your promises in scripture that you have provided all we need through Christ. Help us Father to shift out of following the patterns of this world and to develop new patterns for partnering with you in oneness with Christ. To fulfill your will on earth as it is in heaven. We ask you for this Father with Thanksgiving through Jesus Christ.
Our Lord. Amen.
