The Saltworks
The Saltworks are the stories of real faith from real people in the real world. Saltworks by definition is a place where salt is refined as well as a job often viewed as drudgery. But it’s in the unseen places where people just like you are refined walking faithfully in their everyday lives, because God works in the saltworks. The Bible is full of these people, and they live right next door to you. They are the salt of the earth. These are their stories, and this is your story.

Not My Will But Yours Be Done with Elizabeth Coker

We have a sweet show for you today! Elizabeth Coker is our guest this week, and she is someone who just so clearly showcases the laying down of self to follow His will in her story. As a young girl, Elizabeth talks about her desire for control and the safety it brought her. She shares the way God slowly pried her fingers from the reins and what it looked like to put her trust in Him. Throughout her story, you will hear her share about her love for people, her heart for children, her compassion for others’ hardships, and her natural giftedness in administration. In it all, I love the tapestry that God has woven in Elizabeth’s story to bring all these together– even what she viewed as weakness– to glorify Him. Elizabeth is a wife, a mom, a pastor’s wife, and the Program Coordinator and Mentor at Broaden Horizons. Listen now and be encouraged: He’s weaving your story in places you don’t yet see too!
