The journey of Greg's life started in December, 2016 when he decided there was no other alternative than to make a substantial change in his life and his mindset. He struggled with addiction, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. His sons and daughters have had behavioral struggles and experienced physical and sexual abuse, as well as suicide thoughts.
He successfully navigated a CPS case and used many community resource supports and systems. In the family's effort to rebuild their lives and relationships with each other. This journey began at 50 years of age. Greg eventually came to work for and with many of the support systems that helped to assist his family.
Greg has numerous certificates, several working credentials. He is a instructor for and facilitator for unlocking your potential through legacy business cultures. He's a certified peer counselor and a certified peer counselor trainer. Greg does basic mediation training using a trauma-informed approach in all the work he does.
He's also a substance use disorder, family navigator. Greg is a member of the Fatherhood Council and the State's SUD Advisory Council. Through his lived experience is Greg's desire to help empower families and give hope so that others may succeed in their journeys as well.
