"The Gunfighter" was adapted into a radio play and aired on January 9, 1949, and featured a cast that included, Gregory Peck, Helen Westcott, Millard Mitchell, Harry Bartell Herb Vigran, Wally Maher and Frank Barton.

"The Gunfighter" is a 1950 Western film directed by Henry King and starring Gregory Peck. It tells the story of an aging gunfighter seeking to escape his past but finds himself constantly pursued by younger gunmen looking to make a name by challenging him to a duel. Gregory Peck's portrayal of Jimmy Ringo is considered one of his iconic roles in Western cinema.
