True Conversation

Vanessa Briscoe Hay of Pylon (& Pylon Reenactment Society)

Season 2 Episode 13

Happy to introduce - or get us all reacquainted with a founding member and lead singer of Pylon and Pylon Reenactment Society - Vanessa Briscoe Hay.

Formed in the late 1970’s, Pylon took the Athens, New York, and global music scenes by storm, and I was happy to sit down with Vanessa to discuss the history of Pylon, and the subsequent formation of Pylon Reenactment Society. A very eloquently written NPR article (and interview within) is linked below for your enjoyment.

I’m happy to have made Vanessa’s acquaintance and to share our conversation here with you in the latest installment of True Conversation. Thank you Vanessa for your time - I was honored to hear your story!
