Quantum technologies promise substantial improvements in areas such as computation, communication, and sensing.

Some of these promises have already been fulfilled and some are in very early developments.

Understanding the foundations of quantum technologies and also the nature of their promised improvements may seem like a difficult and almost mystical subject to many.

In  the Quantum Demystified series, we aim to demystify the foundations quantum technologies and explain them in simple terms, and moreover, discuss the potential applications of such technological in areas that will have direct impact on our daily lives.
