Hello, my name is Jasmine Lee, and I am not your mama's astrologer. Just getting ready for this morning's podcast. I spilled my coffee like three times. I dropped my notebook. It's been so funny because as I've been preparing to do this podcast and in retrospective thinking about that Mercury podcast I did, I was feeling very honoring of Mercury retrograde. So it's very fitting that then Mercury Retrograde would be like, haha, here's a three times overspilled coffee cup. Ha ha, your notebook's gonna fall down. You know, it is that ability to ride with what is that helps the energy to loosen, flow, break down, and be what it is. And I think that I've landed on something really important about being a human. And that is that, or maybe just being a me human, maybe you don't experience this, but that notion that I cannot block or stymie or hold the flow that is coming towards me in my life, that I'm beginning to believe that flow state is really just the ability to allow things to be happening in the world and in my body and in my surroundings and in my compute in my community, and that the medicine of being a human is how well you can match that flow and let that flow change you, move you, become you. And in that way, we become much better different people because we allow flow to happen. And I think the problem is that flow just looks very different than we thought it was gonna be. That sometimes flow is grief, sometimes flow is a spilled coffee cup, sometimes flow is feeling completely lost in the woods of your life. And how do you surrender to that flow of being lost, to the flow of a spilled coffee cup, to the flow of a spilled life coffee cup? And you know, I don't know that I have that figured out. I don't know that surrender is something that I have dialed in quite yet, but it is something that this week I believe we can hold on to to get us to the next, to the next, to the next. So it's a beautiful week, you guys, because I feel as though there were weeks and weeks and weeks of podcasting during the holiday season and stuff where I was like, this isn't a doing time, it's a prep time, it's a prep time, it's a thinking about it time. And then Mercury retrograde hits, and it was like we got some insights into some big movement, and we got some insights into what's happening next. And this week, finally, there's some really good, just like last week, there's some really good hands raised in the air and the right questions being asked, and some new flow being introduced that I think is going to enliven and awaken us. But here is the trick. Have you been doing your homework? Because I do believe that there was a lot of asking to be thinking about what we really want, to be thinking about our dreams, to be thinking about what we want to make a reality that maybe we've been afraid to do. And now it is upon us. It is the time. It's not about thinking about it as much anymore. It really is about the world unfolding it for us. Because the thing is, I've been having you think about this for weeks and weeks and weeks. And if it has been in the front of your mind, I want fill in the blank for you. And if you're a new listener, try it out. I want fill in the blank. What is the thing that you want the most right now? And it doesn't even have to be a thing. What is the evolution you are waiting for right now? Because it does feel like we've been in a very long waiting line. And it does feel like maybe our dreams feel farther away than ever, ungraspable. I know I've had some high highs and low lows on my career trajectory this last bit of time, but have you stayed the course of your dreams? Because this is a week where you really start to see some things. You really start to get some kismet moments, some movement, some oh, relief release from feeling stymied. And Tuesday, Mercury retrograde is going to be right next to the North Node. And so it's like all this confusion and oh my goodness, all this Pisces that's made it so that we feel like we don't even know our right hand from our left hand gives us these little beautiful, insightful moments. And Tuesday is one of those. It's one of those, like, ooh, okay, the life path maybe got off track for a little while, but I want to get back on track. And I don't necessarily know how, but the want is there. It's like when you finally make a big life choice, when you finally cut out something in your diet or in your life or in your relationships that hasn't been working, all of a sudden it leaves room for the other things to come. So what's cluttered inside of you, what needs to be cleared away with this last little bit of mercury retrograde that will make room for other things. I always know when I get rid of my clothes, magically, not just because I shop, I promise, because I don't really shop that much, but magically, more clothes come my way. My cousin really is so giving when she gives away her clothes, she gives them to me. And so it's like this passing down process, but I have to let go first. I have to say, okay, girl, you've not worn that shirt ever. And it's time to get rid of it. Transfer that to everything in life. What are you? What had you been promising yourself for a long time that you didn't do that's outdated? And not only is it weighing you down, but it's making you kind of feel icky. That's something to think about for Tuesday. It's time to clear some energetic space for new things to come in. And then Wednesday, Venus is going to square Jupiter, and the sun is going to sextile Uranus, and it's going to be a beautiful, powerful new moon. So let's break Wednesday down because it is like the end of the astrological year in that way. Friday is the official end because then we go into Aries season. But Wednesday is the last new moon of the astrological year. And so in that way, it's a very powerful, potent new moon. And when the moon is full, we want to release. We want to do that surrendering that I was talking about. But the new moon, as we've been releasing and surrendering up to Wednesday, the new moon is, okay. Now that your mind is empty, I think of meditation. What comes up is now that your mind is empty, what's actually there? Because oftentimes we kind of let our brain, Mercury retrograde, right? We let our brain have like a field day with our hearts and our guts and our souls. And before you know it, we're just kind of letting Mercury, our brains, rule the show. And that's what Mercury Retrograde has been doing. It's been like in the forefront, making things extra annoying, making things extra hard, making things take extra long. But why does it do that? Is it doing it to hurt us? Is it doing it out of cruelty? No. It's much like animals. It is a cycle. There's no vindictiveness in it. When an animal kills another animal, it's to nourish itself. There's no vindictive nature in it. It is just nature. Indeed. And this week, this Wednesday, is one of these times to expand. Expand inside of yourself. Jupiter expands the thing that it is working with. And if Venus is squaring Jupiter, our love sector, our art, our ability to love people, our ability to love ourselves, our ability to open our hearts more, to bring art, to bring comfort, to bring what we are needing to ourselves is expanded. And with the sun making a positive aspect to Uranus, big changes, it's like finally, oh my God, after all of these hard changes, after all of this big stuff, we can do this. We are doing this. Just remember that when things are hard, you are doing it. You are going through it, even if it doesn't feel like you're doing it well or right or the way you wish you could. We're still all doing it. The world's a mess. Can you believe it? Can you believe what's been happening in our world? Sometimes I can't. Sometimes I feel like we've gone so far off track that I have no idea how we'll ever find our way back. But this week there is that inkling of hope. There is that notion of we still make art though. We still sing though, we still love though, we still work towards something better though. We don't just give up. And that's what Wednesday is really personifying is we don't give up. And in fact, the Pisces New Moon is here. So you listen to that very intuitive part of yourself and say, what's coming in? What wants to move? What is feeling real inside of me right now? And we have a special gift this week to be able to touch it in a more unquantifiable way, a more spiritual manifesting way. And now you know I have a mixed relationship with all the spirituality stuff because I do feel like there are spiritualists who have taken really beautiful things and turned them into kind of ridiculous things. But to me, moon cycles, the stars, the planets, there's nothing hippie. There's nothing, you know, there's nothing about that that isn't real to me. You know, it's it is the planets keep moving, the cycles keep happening, and we will be impacted one way or the other. And to me, knowing the astrological forecast is a way that I can surrender to the great force that asks all of us to move and shift and do things. So, you know, no hippity-dippity shit here. It's all just what are you gonna do with energy that's given to you? That vibes are real, that what you're putting out is real, that your mood is real. And the way that you're choosing to activate it, use it, and move with it in the world is then what gets mirrored back to you. So to me, it's a podcast of no victims here, only accountability, that this is a beautiful week to take some gentle accountability because maybe the world is going to meet you this week in a way that helps you see yourself in a more loving way instead of a more hateful way. And you know, there to me, there is a dark side of self-help that says you have to change in order to be happy, that says you have to drink this, do this, feel this, act this way, just let them, just let everything happen, and then you get to choose how you respond. And there are these notions that I agree with, there are concepts that in theory make sense. But self-help hurts my heart because I feel that people go to it and activate it as a way to change themselves. When really, as an astrologer, my goal is no, no, no. It's not about changing yourself, it's about developing yourself. As an old school photographer in the dark room, I would be, you know, it was a process, all right? You didn't just get images, you didn't just get to put it in a little old filter and take away your wrinkles. No, you took a picture of a moment in time, and then you had to crack open, it was my favorite part. You had to crack open the casing in the dark and get it on a spoke wheel and to those of you who know you now, chind it up and then put it in solutions, develop the negatives, and then no, no, no, we weren't done there. And then we had to get photo paper, and then we had to use light in the right way to get the proper developing. And now, did that happen perfectly every single time? Of course it didn't. And that's what started creating art. That's what started making photography art, was our mistakes, was the things that we could do. And then, of course, we see we can put one negative on top of another and we can start creating this big, huge world. And people got scared and said, Well, how will we ever be able to trust a picture ever again if you're going to mess with it? And I think that that's us too. How can we ever trust ourselves once something really bad happens to us, or we go through a really horrible relationship, or we lose a job that we thought was really gonna take us somewhere? How do we know what's real and what's not real? And the photographer inside of me, the developer inside of me says, you don't have to change. You just have to be with process. And then you don't change, you grow. You become, you become. And I've seen it on so many memes, because technological world that we live in. And the truth is, a lot of our life when we're young is about being what we think other people want us to be, or we look on the televisions, or we look to each other and we see what they're doing, and we so much want to be that. But then as we get older, as we start to give less fucks, we really do start to see that what life is all about is about undoing all of that and becoming what our childhood self really personified. And so it's a great time. A Pisces New Moon is a beautiful time to do some inner child work, to say, what was the part of you before you learned to not like you that was you, that felt the truest to you, and maybe do a little bit of that this week. And in that way, we're not usually new moons are a time for deep manifestation. It's time to bring in the new, it's time to ask for new. But really, for me on Wednesday, this new moon is a really beautiful opportunity to sit with the kingdom you have created, that's you, and your body and your soul, and peruse it and go through its files and feel its feelings and and wonder and get neutrally curious about where you are headed next. It doesn't have to be a big next. Self-help again tells us we need to make these life changes. It doesn't have to be so big. It can be the most subtlest of things. It can be, I really need 10 more minutes every morning of quiet in order to understand better how I want my day to go. Good. Ooh, do that. Try to wake up 10 minutes earlier. Try to put your phone away earlier before bed. Try to make more eye contact. It's anything. Because once we try anything, something always comes from it. And if we trust that, then imagine the big soul changes, not changes, developments we can make when we understand that it's not always about the big changes. It's about showing up to the pottery class that, ooh, that boy happens to be at, and ooh, you guys make eyes at each other, and all of a sudden your soulmate is right there, and he was always there, but you just didn't go to pottery class yet. It's that kind of stuff. It is those in-breaths and outbreaths. It is just the act of living that helps our paths develop. But we are always developing. There is always a next. We can get overdeveloped and have to start again. I've seen those pictures. They're kind of dark and scary and shadowy. They don't have to always be so. We do have a right to make new pictures, to make new stories. And that's what this new moon in Pisces is all about is the story you've been writing about yourself that keeps you sad or keeps you in a place where you aren't proud of yourself is there to be redeveloped. So get yourself back in that dark room. Take some quiet time. Break open your inner photography capsule, canister, hear the crack and put it on its toggles. Dook, dook, dook, dook, dook, and put it in its chemicals and see what develops without attachment to what it has to be, but allowing it to be what it needs to be so that you can be a truer version of what you've always been. Don't let any self-helper tell you that you need to change your entire life, or that you're doing something wrong, or that if you just did this one thing, everything would change. But that's not always true, is it? Sometimes I get so sad, I'll have moments of sadness because I'll feel like I'm doing the work, I'm going to the gym, I'm putting out my podcast every week, I'm doing, I'm doing, I'm doing, and nothing's happening, and I get frustrated, or like there'll be a big misstep, and I'll be like, oh, I'm just right back where I started. But that's true because right where I started is right here in my heart. And I'll always come back to it over and over and over, just with new lessons. And how I perceive those lessons is what moves me and develops me. How I learn from them and how I allow them is what makes all the difference. And that is what this ending this week. It is an ending, it is the astrological new year incoming. It is the spring equinox here for us to help us. The light is coming back. And instead of feeling like you have to do all of these things to change, to bring something about, I just want you to think about them. I just want you to allow them. I just want you to surrender to what it is you really want so that you can recognize it better when it's right in front of you. And now more than ever, we're moving into a place where we can accept what is changing more readily. And then Friday, that's what it is, you guys. The sun goes into Aries. We're done with Pisces. I mean, we're not, there's still other planets in Pisces and Mercury and Pisces. But then Mercury goes direct in Pisces. And it's the spring equinox. It's a very powerful day Friday of whew, whew, say it with me. And listen, just because Mercury goes direct, right, doesn't mean that all of a sudden it's gonna undo itself. That's not how that works. And I didn't mention it in the Mercury podcast, but I'll say right now, Mercury has a shadow. And leading up to Mercury retrograde, it's in a shadow. And then because it's traveled backwards, Mercury going direct still has a shadow that follows it until it reaches beyond the degree point that it was when it went retrograde in the first place. So, you know, when Mercury goes direct, it's not like all of a sudden things are gonna start working out. It's like, oh, here's this big mess we made, and now we have to clean it up. That's what it is. It still feels messy, it still feels a certain type of way, and it still has vibes. Okay, so don't go thinking that you can just like, you know, sign contracts and think it's gonna be just fine. I mean, maybe it will. But also keeping in mind that when you've gotten your car very dirty, or when you're stuck in the mud or whatever, you still have to deal with the mud. So, Mercury does go direct. So it is the spring equinox. So it is now Aries season on Friday, and all of these things are made available to us. All of that energy says, now what? And then on Saturday, Mars, our warrior planet, trines a beautiful aspect, Jupiter. So at the beginning, beginning of the week, we were talking about love and our desire and what we want with Venus squaring Jupiter. And now we have Mars doing something with Jupiter, saying, Now what are you gonna do about it? Now let's move forward, now let's do something that matters. So this weekend, what I want you to do is have fun. Because in The Witches of Eastwick, how they defeated evil was by laughing. And how we get over ourselves a little bit, and how we allow a little bit is by releasing, is by sleeping, is by laughing, is by walking, is by making love, is by making art, is by making poetry. So this weekend can be an incredibly beautiful time. It's gonna be like so sunny this week. It's supposed to be here in Ashland, Oregon in the 70s, like late 70s. Hot. What? What? I feel like my soul isn't ready for super sunshine, but here it is. And in that way, I don't need to change it. I just need to move with it. These legs aren't ready for shorts. I'll wear a long skirt. See, I fixed it. And then Sunday, the sun and Neptune. Have a kazimi, which means Neptune is right in the sun. And Neptune is about our dreams. So now our dreams are highlighted. So cycle back to the first beginning of this conversation, of this podcast. Our dreams. Our dreams are becoming clear. They're clearer because hopefully you've been doing your homework and thinking about it and bringing it closer and closer. And sometimes, like I say, your dream can feel so far away. And then you walk into that pottery class that changes the rest of your life. Because here's the thing: you can want whatever you want, but if you aren't participating, if you aren't showing up, if you aren't doing, well, what are you gonna get in return? Nothing. You have to be doing also. You have to be meeting the moment. You have to go to that coffee. You have to read that book. You have to write that poem in order for the energy to move and present itself to you in the way that you're wanting it to. So Mars training Jupiter is action-based reality. Is what are you going to do about it? Do something on Saturday that really matches and meets where you're going and what you want. And then we end the week with that kazimi where the dream becomes clearer. And then Mercury, now direct, gifts us with a conjunction being right next to the North Node, which is our fate. So now we can really start thinking. Now we can really start pontificating on what's next. And my darlings, even if what's next is an inhale and an outhale and a nap and going to the movies and going on a walk, that is doing. You are doing, you are manifesting every day of your life. It's more around why are you doing that? Anything that you're doing on any given day, I want you to ask yourself, why? Why did I say yes to that coffee? Why did I say no to that pottery class? Why? Like what am I doing? And instead of judging yourself, taking a neutral standpoint of am I going with my flow? Am I surrendering to what is? And am I saying yes to what I'm wanting? Because sometimes I think we're really afraid to get what we truly want. Much like when I relate it to having relationships with people, we all want help, healthy, happy, elevated relationships. But are you happy, healthy, and elevated? Because if you're not, how are you going to recognize that in someone else? That truly you have to be what you are seeking in order to recognize the energy for it to come back around to you. So get really accountable. If you want a really beautiful relationship, then you need to be someone who's ready to be in a really beautiful relationship. That's just how that goes. So manifest. Think about what you really want. And the card I pulled is with a loyal heart. It's these two owls and they're looking at each other, and it is loyal heart. Be true to yourself, is the only answer, truly. Be true to yourself, be true to others. When we live from a place of true, that's true. That's true for me. Yes, that's right. When you do that, anything can happen. When you get on that bus, when you take that walk, when you make that choice, it is changing your life. Sometimes we're just too busy to see that we are doing it. And maybe we're not really changing, but just developing. Thank you so much for listening. I hope this week can give you a different spice to put in your cabinet because it's been a lot of the same, and I understand that. And it's felt frustrating at times, and it's felt very derailing, but and it's been really potent to have to sit in it for quite some time. So that now when we recognize the forward motion, we willingly take it. That's how life works. Please like, subscribe, share, book a reading. I have a new website. It is not your mama's astrologer.com. Uh, and I'm just so grateful for you all being here in space with me. I'll see you next week.
