Hello, my name is Jasmine Lee, and I am not your mama's astrologer. Welcome to the week. This is one of those medium weeks. We're in the middle. We're in a medium size. We don't need to go big or go home. We don't need to shrink and stay small to get through it. It's more of one of those weeks where we let the energy move us because there is a lot going on in July. There's a lot of really big astrology. And here's the thing that I love and hate about astrology is that we have been predicting things for a long time. And we do that through astrology because we have patterns, because we have things that happen as a result of these planet placements, as a result of the different aspects that they make to each other. And so while I love to use astrology for predictive reasons and to prepare the soul ship for any kind of launching that it is going to do, I take it with equal parts, bits of salt because, and maybe a little sugar. Because when big astrology is about to happen, it's really easy to be afraid. It's really easy to catastrophize. But we have to realize that in history, revolution and change and big things is the constant, is always going to be up for us to move the dial or move it backwards. And being in such a tumultuous time in America, being in such a tumultuous political climate, sometimes when I see astrology on the horizon that looks very large, I look to these weeks, these intermediary weeks, as a time to get really grounded, as a time to feel balanced and in control, and as a time to prepare to be slightly out of control. You know, the letting go process, if you let it, can allow for perspective to come in a little quicker. So there isn't a lot going on this week, but Thursday, Venus is making this trine to Saturn. And so what I think of for this week is being or making the world beautiful on purpose. Like, what can you do in your world this week that is lovely on purpose? You know, we get so bogged down with life, with what we have to do, with what we are doing, with routine and lifestyle. And I think sometimes we get lost in the matrix of it, that if this world is some kind of simulation, that we need to tap into the algorithm better. Because if you look for it, there is always what you are looking for. It is always just on the horizon of what you are noticing. Because I think a big part of life and a big part of this astrology this week is gonna be about noticing beautiful things on purpose. I'm reading this really crazy book called Cloud Cuckoo. Gosh, what's the rest of the name? I don't know what the rest of the name is. It's by the same author that wrote All the Light We Cannot See. And um it's a kind of a head trip. And one of the characters is going through this atlas where she can see the world because she's not of the world anymore. But she figures out this break in the system where if she finds an owl and touches it, things change. Cloud cuckoo land is what it's called. Cloud cuckoo land. And every time she touches an owl, an insignia like an insignia of an owl, the world changes. The picture that she thought it was changes into something else. And oh my god, what a visual for this week, you guys, that we have the power to find the things, to find the feelings, to find the concepts that will change us. That I think, and maybe I'm just speaking for myself, that sometimes I wait for change to happen. And surely if the planets teach us nothing, it's that they will move us, whether we want to or not. But the power of the human spirit and the capability we have to change it ourselves because we say so is very powerful. And I love this book because there's so many references to this, to perspective, to how everything, every little thing, past, present, future, is connected and weaved together in a thread of astrological brilliance. And this is one of those weeks that we need to tap into our subtler self, our subtle body, our imagination, because the older we get, the harder it is to access the imaginative self. Now, some people access it regularly through their children, through writing, through listening to music, through creating music, through art. These are all very adulty cool ways to tap into our imagination. But on a deeper, more subterranean level, I want to imagine. See what I did there? Imagination. I didn't mean to that on a deeper level, we're creating our reality all the time. That it is our imagination at work that is the world in front of us. And what if that's true? What would you do with that? You know, I think we're all so stressed out that the things that we see in front of us are more money, more security, more this, more that. There's so much more in our desire sectors that we lose our imagination. Because what I think is that everything we need is right here in front of us. We just have to get more imaginative with it. And so when Venus makes a beautiful trine to Saturn, Venus is beauty and art and fairness and balance, and Saturn is our scorekeeper, our record keeper. And so set the record straight with yourself this week. Understand that no matter how crazy the astrology might get or how big the world, America, politics might feel, that we also have imagination. And that that is the very thing that you see the most when you read about history and when you read about people who have gone through it, is that it was the tapping into their imaginative beings that helped them get through difficult times. And I'm not saying this isn't some like crazy trigger warning that next week like things are gonna go insane. They surely might. I don't have like a magic wand that says one way or the other. But what I do know is that when there is a pattern being tracked and that America is on the precipice of a lot of big change, that our little worlds can be deeply impacted, but we also have a choice on how we are choosing to live bigger and brighter, says Venus and Leo. Venus and Leo is here to say that our love is bigger than whatever else is out there, that what our heart, what resides in our hearts, is bigger and more capable than what we give it credit for. And Saturn being here says, you can make your imagination real. And I think of that children's book, The Purple Crown, Harold and the Purple Crown, how he was drawing his reality alive, that we all are capable of doing that. I think we just become so asleep to it that we become so disenchanted by what's right in front of our face, that we aren't looking for that secret owl hidden in the corner that will transmute and change the surroundings around us. Because I know that uh there is a really big difference when I go on a walk and don't look at anything versus when I go on a walk and I'm looking for something. Because if I start the journey looking, I will surely find something, even if it's not the thing that I think I want, even if it's not the thing that I'm actively specifically searching for. It is the act of the search that then the other things, the other lessons, the other beautiful aspects reveal themselves. Now, could I find those things if I wasn't searching? No. Looking too much down, we miss a lot. Looking too much up, we trip a lot. It is the balance, Venus says. It is the balance of looking everywhere. That there is pockets of what we seek everywhere in our reality. We just need to be awake to see it. And I think we live in a society that really wants us to stay asleep. And so this week I want you to be very awake. Very awake because the sun is also squaring Neptune this week. And it is a beautiful astrology climate to daydream, to dream alive, awake. And I am someone who dreams every single night. I have everybody dreams every single night, but I remember my dreams every single night. And I work through, it's most of the times it's pretty freaking obvious, you know, like what I'm working through, where I'm at on my healing journey, which can be pretty annoying. But every once in a while, I'll have some dreams that just are so meandering and so lovely and so wrought, most likely with meaning. And it's really about what I want to derive from it in my conscious self. Because my subconscious is doing all of this layered work. And how cool, how cool that the concept that we lay still. I mean, I don't lay still. I'm I kick and move a lot, but but that theoretically we lay down still and we go to these worlds that our brain creates for us based on where we're at in our reality and the things we've seen. Because, you know, then strangers on the street enter our dreams. People we never even thought we were thinking about come onto the stage. And I think that there is something to really notice in that realm this week. That this week, if you can remember some of your dreams, I want you to apply some bone memory to whatever you're dreaming right now, because I do believe that it is information, breadcrumbs towards a bigger truth that I think a lot of us are on the precipice of discovering. And having a lovely week like this week where we're wanting, you know, Venus and Leo wants to stand out. So the beauty wants to stand out. The harmony and colors and grace wants to be here presently. But it's up to us to activate that, you know, because that doesn't mean that every day is a good day. That doesn't mean that we aren't still going through incredibly tragic times. I feel like the news has been particularly morose lately. A guy falling out of Madison Square Garden and dying, like the girl, not bungee corded and being tossed off a cliff. There's all kinds of really crazy news right now on my newsfeeds, and I don't even listen. My Instagram is all cats and witches, so I'll know what's going on. But like I'm seeing these things and I'm thinking, gosh, how ugly. But also, I'm gonna turn in a different direction and say also how beautiful that the world is so vast that there are equal parts, tragedy happening at the same time as babies are being born and people are getting married. There was also three weddings in our town over the weekend, and seeing the flower girls walking around and the men in suits in 90-degree weather. I am so here for it. And to me, that is always and ever present that no matter what happens, no matter how intense, no matter how on the button is in our whole realities iteration, we can still find really incredibly beautiful things hidden in the pockets. But we do, on some level, have to do that on purpose. That I think the routine of our lives blinds us to a lot of the mysteries that we think we're trying to solve. We think we're actively doing that. We think we're actively solving some shit week to week. And maybe we are, maybe on a very practical basis, we super are. But are we looking for the owls while we're doing all of that practical work? And I use those owls loosely because I certainly look for owls. As if any of you guys listen to my podcast regularly, you know. That's my symbol for my mom. It's my symbol for all kinds of things. It's tattooed on my arm, it's the symbol of my business. It is something that I engage with often. So the fact that it is in my book right now is incredibly inspiring to me personally because that is my insignia of hope and luck and right timing and being tapped into what the universe is displaying and working with as it relates to me. But what is it for you? What is an insignia? What is a symbol for you that when you see it, it instantly releases something inside of you. You know, and I always say, make it simpler. Don't make it something that's hard to find. Like a freaking tree will do. Because when you start noticing it, to me, it's the fundamentals of manifestation. And I always invite my clients that get readings to do this every time when I meet them for the first time. Because I think that it is very important to make friends with signs, to make friends with those things, because then the notion of it gets implanted into our soul, and all of a sudden we're seeing it all of the time. And what's beautiful about that is that's what manifestation is. That is what the hub of it exists within. And if we practice it on a very simple level, like a squirrel. Squirrels be freaking everywhere, you guys. If you practice with a squirrel, then imagine how often you're going to be getting those fateful hits by seeing that thing over and over and over. And it is something that I truly believe in my body moves the dial. It changes you because you start trusting that that symbol is going to show up for you. I'm saying it and my blanket on the couch is a big owl just looking at me. I say it and it's true. Because isn't that what this whole matrix is? We say it and it's true. My body hurts today. Well, that must be true because you said it. And if it's not true, and if you said it for other reasons, then that is another true. That is another truth that you get to go deep down and explore. So this week is a week to explore our truths in that way because there is something beautiful about even the darkest truth. And I was in the car the other day, and we drove past a street that I lived on as a child, and I got this inkling of a bad memory, and I don't remember it, but it felt bad. It was a neighbor that I had, and it felt scary because it was like, can I totally forget certain things? Can like my mind drop something bad that I don't want to see? And the answer is probably. But what do I do with that? I move through it. I am thoughtful of it, that maybe there was this bad memory as a child that I blocked out a little bit, but that there was a sign, you know, because that street was the street that I went and saw my owl on. And so it felt very important to integrate whatever that was. This is what I'm talking about this week: making these weird little connections to the deeper parts, the unseen self being brought out into the visual field of where you are looking, what you are seeing, and why you are seeing it. So maybe that sounds a little unhinged, or maybe it doesn't sound rooted in anything foundational. But what I will say is I am the kind of person that doesn't believe anything because I believe that belief 100% controls you absolutely. But I do like proof. I do like it when spirit, soul, whatever you call it, speaks to me regularly because it is something that reminds me that I am safe. And that's through my own lived experience, that we all process reality through our own lived experience. And I want you to use these theories, these experiments, these manifestations as a way to get closer to your own notions and theories about what's on the other side of the rainbow, what's on the other side of you? Have you ever just stared in a mirror and tripped out on yourself, on your own existence? That looking in the mirror until you become something that is both you and not you all at the same time? It is the tripping out on existence, on perception. Have you ever seen different pictures of yourself taken by different people? And one person can take a beautiful picture of you and another person horror show. Because it's all perspective, it's all angles, it's all color filtration, it's all the light of the day, it's all the glow of the candles. That's not just true for our physical beings, it's true for our internal ones as well. And the more room we make this week inside of ourselves to candle glow the inner landscape, the more freely it can escape us and represent itself in the outer landscape. And maybe that sounds scary. Maybe sometimes rewriting our stories or going in and exploring some hard stories inside of ourselves can feel really confronting. Maybe we're at a place in our life where everything is about to change or nothing feels like it's changing, and there is a restlessness that exists, and lighting a candle in there feels dangerous. Maybe our attics and our basements, our tops and our bottoms are wrought with shit that we have packed up that we don't want to see. But it is in the releasing it that we can trust that there will be beauty on the other side of what we release inside of ourselves. Because when big astrology is on the horizon, it's gonna ask us to release a lot of the chains that bind us. And while theoretically that sounds good because change is good, growth is good, next chapters are good, we don't know what they are. We don't know what's coming for us, we don't know what that could mean. And so it can be very scary, terrifying, you know, fear-inciting. And so there is always two sides of that coin. But if this week we use that energy, we use that chi to find beauty, to find synchronicity, to find things on the outside world that mirrors our inside world, well then we've got some tools that we can work with. And so that's what this homework of the week is is to start finding reflections of your inner world in the outer world, whatever that means to you. Is it trees? Is it you know, squirrels, is it something so simple as the dirt sound that your shoes make when it crunches against it as it walks? And then every time you hear that sound, I want you to see it as a sign to go inside and see what's in there right now, what's knocking around. Because what's beautiful is when we start using this power for good, for beauty, for seeing something magnificent, then our insides start to trust that magnificence is all around us. And I think unfortunately, a lot of us are stuck in the whirly gig of negativity, are stuck in the body aches that we wake up with every day, are stuck in the I don't remember my dreams, are stuck in the I didn't sleep so well, are stuck in the I have to go to work in 10 minutes, are stuck in the I don't have time to do that, are stuck in the I would, but I can't, are stuck in the if only I hads. And we can get lost in those stories of if only I hads. It is a deep, dark tunnel where regret lives, where the library of ourselves is self written. And if we are self written, then we are still writing. Is a week to write it pretty. Because if things are gonna get hard, we absolutely have to have some tools of beauty to paint the reality with. If when the whole world is on fire, that squirrel comes and knocks on your door. That'd be dope if it actually did, but you know, more in a like philosophical sense. If the squirrel of our lives are right in front of us, then it helps us to keep going forward. So find your squirrel, find your owl, find your color, find whatever it is that will elicit this feeling of calm and beauty and safe inside of you, and go out and find it today and tomorrow and every other day since. Because if you start doing it consciously, eventually, it'll just do it. Eventually, this beautiful book, like Cloud Cuckoo Land, will land in your lap and the owl will be ever present, telling you that all you have to do is touch it to elicit an entire new truth or reality about yourself. And that can be beautiful. So that's this week. And I fortify you for this week because at the end of this week, Mars is finishing up its time in Taurus. He hands the baton to Chiron, who just moved into Taurus, and it is about resource, and it is going to be about our relationship and our wounds around being resourced. And that can create a mirage of want, a mirage of lack, a mirage of foundational fears. But it is just that. It is a mirage because it is there to heal us, it is there to wound us so that we may know it better to heal from it deeper. That can be hard. And Mars says, I don't want anything to do with that. I got my own battle to fight because Mars is going into Gemini. And guess who's sitting pretty in Gemini right now? Well, that is our planet of huge, fast, big, unexpected change, Uranus. So when our warrior is all goddamn suited up and he's all trudging into Uranus territory in Gemini, whooe, that's where next week is really gonna get spicy. And here are just a few references that I want you to think about because I started this podcast saying the thing about astrology is that it follows patterns and they're interesting patterns and they hold true and they signify things. And so with Mars and Uranus meeting up in Gemini, well, they met up in Gemini at the birth of America. When is it happening again? On the 4th of July. How about that, my dear friends? If that's not a pattern, I don't know what is. What I want to say, something that is a little bit of a little treat for us before all of that big, is that Mars is going to leave Taurus and it is going though first to sextile Jupiter. It's gonna fuel up. Jupiter is expansive, Jupiter is big. Jupiter can be luck and right timing, but Jupiter can also be the excess of it all. Can you feel it? The heat building, summer coming, you know, political things feeling tense. Jupiter is there fueling Mars, saying, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then Mars is gonna um be right next to Gemini, conjunct Uranus in Gemini. And that happened when we made America. It happened when there was the Civil War. When the last time Uranus was in Gemini was World War II. So this isn't being said to scare you because war and creation, destruction and creation are in the same bag here. The creation of America, the destruction of it. Or what I prefer to say is the reorienting of it is that you feel it. Come on. This isn't like a big surprise that America is about to go through a big old quantum leap of change. It's not a surprise. AI is right here. I can't scroll without a goddamn AI ad. Like, could we please stop that? Like, would you just write it with stick figures? I would feel more prone to want to go to your events if they weren't AI generated, just saying. But also, AI is here and it's about to do some big things. And America is in a very tricky situation and needs to go through some growing pains. So it is a disruptive combination. Mars and Uranus in the sign of tech communication, neighbors, siblings, all of these things that feel familial, close near us. So, what needs to change in your community? What needs to change in our political climate? What needs to change as it is applying to tech and communication? It's gonna happen and it's gonna be big, you know, and it's gonna be unpredictable. And you know, sometimes we don't understand the astrology until it is happening, has happened. That is kind of what hindsight provides to us. So it's not like I think we're gonna go into a war next week or anything like that, but I do think it's going to feel like really big combustible energy. And I want you to take that energy and use it to make good and use it to change what needs changing in your life. Maybe you'll feel a little spicy, you know, locked in and ready to fight against the man. I don't know. Maybe you'll feel locked in in your household to change the dynamic that is dragging you all down. We can use this energy to make change that is great. I love the idea of using what has classically and historically been war energy to make positive change. That I think, you know, violence and war being in the same conversation is maybe something that is up for review in my mind's eye. That big change doesn't always have to come with um violence, that we can make big change through activation of a community, through activation of our own soul's ability to grow. So that's how I want you to see that. Because then we're also going to be having, you know, full moons, Mercury retrogrades, oh my God. And Mercury's going to be retrograding in cancer, which is a very emotional thing to have happen. So I do believe a lot of fear could be elicited. I do believe a lot of um, you know, unknowing can be presented to us. And what is the remedy for that? Well, this week is the remedy for that. This week's ideal around find your pivot points, find your respite, find your moments of finding your squirrels and see what happens when you can lean in to the trusting side of the pendulum swing. When you can lean into whatever side your life pendulum is on, it will go to the other side. So, how do you best prepare for each side? Well, I know. Neutrality, finding that middle. Too much ice cream makes you sick. A scoop of ice cream? Fuck yeah. Get that. And I want you to apply ice cream to everything that you do. Too much sleep, you become listless. Too little sleep, you can't focus. Too much dream memory would be crazy because I I have this feeling that we do a lot of crazy things in our sleep that we don't remember. But remembering a little bit, dope. Yeah, let's let's remember a little bit. Let's just dip a little pinky finger in our subconscious. We don't need to fucking go elbows in. No, we do not. We can just be open, we can just feel willing. And that's where all good things start, is just the willingness. And the card I pulled, very interesting, is to be fair. Is to be fair, is that really what we're trying to do is balance. Really, what we know already is America is unbalanced. And as a result, we too are very unbalanced in how we see the world, in what we think our priorities are, in what matters most, in what we have to do just to survive. And that every time we get this out of balance, out of sync, this to be fair card comes around and says, it's time to pivot. It's time to get back to some kind of neutrality. And sometimes, in order to get back to neutrality, we have to very aggressively swing on another side in order to get back to something center. And that's what I feel like this whole bit of time with the horrors of the Trump administration has been is it's finding a way to see you have to lift up the dark stones to see all the little critters skitter underneath, to see the Epstein files leaking, to see that underneath whatever the facade is, there is an owl we can touch that will then melt away the figments of our imagination and leave us with some doses of some pretty hard realities. That being lied to, ha ha, is just what's always been thus in our political climate and how we find a way, our own way, to bring it to center. Not to go far off on the other side either, because that shit's crazy too. There is no extreme that isn't crazy. And isn't that the note of brilliance? There is that fine line that any artist, poet, musician in history, genius, brilliant person, intellect, mind, Einstein, all of these people, when you explore their histories, are wrought with mental instability. And why? Because the genius being too high on one side of the pendulum swing doesn't allow for the outbreath of just being human. Is that when you are turning your heartbreaks into art all of the time, then your heartbreak lives in you viscerally for all of time. You are forced to sing those sad songs, forced to look at that imagery. And while on one end of the spectrum, it's so good to get it out. But too much feeling, too much brilliance can completely short circuit the whole gamut. I don't know if you've ever read the book Flowers for Algernon, but that is a brilliant book that explores someone who was mentally disabled and being made fun of all the time and didn't know, but kind of lived in this ignorance's bliss lifestyle. That then in an experiment with another mouse, a human and a mouse, becoming hyper intelligent, and that really it was the same. That his ostrazi like being ostracized from society, feeling separate, was the same. And which one was he happier? Well, when he didn't know, he was a lot happier. And so what an interesting juxtaposition to think too smart, too stupid. We can't be either of those things. We have to find our middle ground here. And that's what this week is about. Finding your squirrels, finding your middle ground, finding your beauty, finding what it is you are ready to erupt through into a change. Going into those soul bones and seeing what doors need opening, the attics and the basements of our hearts and our souls. What's down there? What's up there? What could you uncover that could release something that maybe might not be too pleasant? What about that bad childhood memory I had? What if it's really bad? What if I don't remember because it's so bad? But unlocking it, at least saying I don't need to know it fully. I just need to trust that it's here to grow me a little, trust that it's here for me to think about a little deeper. Whatever comes from that, there's no wrong turn. There's only unlocks. And I'm all about the unlock this summer. Let's unlock some doors. I mean, if the astrology is gonna get crazy, let's meet it with our own crazy. Let's let the squirrels run wild. Thank you so much for listening. As always, my call to action is if you like my podcast, that you share it with someone who you think would also like this podcast. Because the more we share, the more we're in community together, the more we're vibing together, the more we're changing positively together, the more we find soul rhythm. It's like group prayer or like whatever, yoga day on Sunday, or the group prayer day, whenever that is. It's when a collective is coming together and aligning in their thoughts and vibes, big changes can happen when we're all here, giving our energy together. What beautiful things can be unlocked. And on that note, on the new moon, July 14th next month, I will be teaching an Astro Explorers class. It's free, it's explorative, obviously, per the name, and it's just to sit together and discuss some astrology vibes that we can use to unlock something that's sacred inside of ourselves. It'll be July 14th. Message me for the Zoom link. I will be so happy to have you join me. Thank you so much, and I will see you next week.
