Minute to Heal It Podcast
Healing Our Nation Through Faith
Discover the profound spiritual journey of Pastor Linda Budd from Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as she shares her remarkable experiences with faith healing. Taking scripture at its word—particularly the biblical mandate to "lay hands on the sick and see them recover"—Linda has dedicated years to cultivating what she describes as a "healing anointing."
Throughout this intimate testimony, Linda reveals how she's witnessed countless healings across a spectrum of illnesses and conditions. Her approach stems from deep biblical conviction, challenging listeners to reconsider the connection between faith and physical restoration. The raw authenticity in her voice conveys both the dedication and humility required to pursue such a controversial ministry in today's medically-oriented world.
Beyond personal healing, Linda extends her powerful prayers toward national restoration. She articulates a vision where spiritual renewal leads to national transformation, emphasizing that change must begin with Christians themselves before society can truly heal. Her passionate intercession for America reflects a theological perspective where spiritual and civic welfare are intricately connected, offering listeners a glimpse into how faith can inform perspectives on broader social concerns.
Whether you're a devout believer seeking spiritual encouragement or simply curious about faith healing practices, this episode provides valuable insight into a ministry that continues to inspire hope and controversy. Linda also extends an invitation to connect for speaking engagements, making her experiences and approach accessible to those wanting to learn more. Hi, I'm Linda Budd. I'm a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, oklahoma, and I take the scriptures literally. That says that we are to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. And so for several years I've gone after a healing anointing. I've prayed for people dozens of times over the years and I see so many get healed. I've seen all manner of sickness and disease healed. If you have any pain in your body, if you're infirmed, if you have any disease, if you have any sickness at all, I just reach my hand up to heaven right now in the name of Jesus, and I call forth the new body part that you need.
Speaker 1:Listen to this testimony. We pray for our nation today in the name of Jesus, we pray for the leaders of our nation that they would begin to repent, that they would begin to come to the light. In the name of Jesus, we declare that this is a new day in our nation, that our nations are turning to you, that the hearts of our leaders, whether Democrat or Republican, are turning to you. In the name of Jesus, lord, we say that you're going to rule over our nation. Our nation is going to be glad and rejoice. There's going to be a complete turnaround, that our nation will sing a new song to the Lord, that this nation will begin to bless the name of the Lord and that people will come forth to God, to salvation. People will be born again, people will rise up and they'll be healed in the name of Jesus, that our nation would be one nation under God and his name is Jesus Christ.
Speaker 1:We just bind up the spirits of wickedness in our nation. Now, in Jesus' name, we repent of them in our own lives, we repent for ourselves. We, as Christians, rise up and we say, oh God, we cannot expect the heathen to repent, but we repent and we say, lord, that according to your word, that as we repent and turn to God, god, that you will come and heal our land. And so, lord, we just say our nation is going to become a new nation and it is going to become a prosperous nation in every sense of the word, that people will no longer be in need, that the wicked will be cut down, that they will wither as the green herb, according to Psalm 37, 2. And we just declared that this is a new day for our nation and a joyful noise to the Lord will be made in this nation in Jesus' name.
Speaker 1:Aren't these just great testimonies of the goodness of God and the healing power of Jesus Christ? If you are interested in having me come and speak at a motivational event, your church or a conference of some sort, I am more than happy to consider that invitation. Please contact my church's office, rivergate Church, tulsa, 918-492-5511, and we'll see if we can set something up. God bless you.
