When Canes Become Souvenirs: Unexpected Miracles at Rivergate
The remarkable power of faith healing takes center stage as Pastor Linda Budd shares her journey and extraordinary testimonies from her ministry at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Taking Scripture at its word—that believers should "lay hands on the sick and see them recover"—Linda has dedicated years to developing a healing anointing that has transformed countless lives.
At the heart of this episode lies a powerful testimony of divine intervention. A husband and wife arrive at church—he dependent on a cane due to debilitating neuropathy, she silently suffering from panic attacks rooted in childhood trauma. What happens next defies conventional explanation. As Pastor Linda ministers to the man, visible transformation occurs before the congregation's eyes. Hesitantly surrendering his cane, he begins lifting his feet in marching motions—an ability his tearful wife confirms was previously impossible. Meanwhile, through supernatural insight, Linda addresses the root of the wife's panic attacks, breaking chains of trauma that had bound her since childhood. The couple who arrived burdened with affliction leave completely transformed, carrying the cane only as a souvenir of their former condition.
Pastor Linda extends this same healing anointing to listeners, speaking words of faith directly to those suffering from neuropathy and other conditions. Her approach bridges ancient biblical practices with contemporary needs, offering hope where conventional treatments have sometimes fallen short. The testimonies shared demonstrate a fascinating intersection of faith and healing that continues to impact lives today. For those seeking similar breakthrough or wishing to witness these miracles firsthand, Pastor Linda welcomes speaking invitations through Rivergate Church. Experience the transformative power that occurs when Scripture's healing promises are embraced with unwavering faith.

Hi, I'm Linda Budd. I'm a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, oklahoma, and I take the scriptures literally. That says that we are to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. And so for several years I've gone after a healing anointing. I've prayed for people dozens of times over the years and I see so many get healed. I've seen all manner of sickness and disease healed. If you have any pain in your body, if you're infirmed, if you have any disease, if you have any sickness at all, I just reach my hand up to heaven right now in the name of Jesus, and I call forth the new body part that you need. Listen to this testimony.
Speaker 1:A lady called in who attends our church and she comes by herself. I didn't even know she was married, but she said I want to come to the Miracle Healing Service and bring my husband. He's got problems. And so she came with him and I saw him for the first time and he did look like he had problems. He was walking with a cane and he was very slow. And so, as the service progressed, I said sir, what do you need? And he said I have neuropathy. And so I said are your feet and legs numb? And he said no, but they burn and it's very difficult for me to put my shoes on. It just takes me forever and so forth. And I said well, if you will stand up and walk to me, the neuropathy is going to leave you and you're going to get your feedback and you won't need that cane any longer.
Speaker 1:And so he began walking the aisle with his cane. When it got to me, the power of God hit him. You could see it. And I said now give me your cane, you don't need it. And he was hesitant and I said I'll take your hand and we began to walk around a little bit and then he turned to the whole congregation and he started lifting his feet up and down like if he were marching in place, lifting his feet up and down like if he were marching in place. And I thought that this was going on, and so I said is this normal? He said no, I couldn't do this. And his wife was sitting there and she began to cry and cry and she said he could not do that. And so I noticed that when they left the building, he was walking without his cane and he was just carrying it.
Speaker 1:And then the great part is is. We asked her what do you need to be healed of? And she, oh, she had responded to a word of knowledge about somebody trying to catch their breath and it was a panic attack. And she said yes, that's me. And so she walked the aisle and we said that's no longer going to be on you, and the power of God hit her as well. And then suddenly I saw a picture of when she was a young girl and something with her dad that caused this panic and she said yes, and all of that came off of them.
Speaker 1:So that couple got to leave the building, leave the church, leave the presence of God and go home healed in the name of Jesus. If you suffer with neuropathy, I declare right now to you, in the name of the Lord, that the pain of the neuropathy is stopping, the problem is stopping and you are being set free right now in the name of Jesus. Aren't these just great testimonies of the goodness of God and the healing power of Jesus Christ?
