A packed women’s conference in pink turned into a moment no one expected: a visiting pastor, called out for hip pain, tried to stand and froze in place—hands on the pew, unable to speak—before the room watched a sudden shift that ended with him running without a limp. I share how it unfolded in real time, from the bold declaration that signs and wonders would follow the message, to the startling stillness that gripped the room, to the surge of faith as a prophetic word of restoration spoke directly to a weary year in a family’s life.

What happened next reshaped the atmosphere. The pastor, who had lived with pain and a persistent limp after a total hip replacement, rose, walked, and then sprinted. The crowd saw more than emotion; they witnessed tangible change. As we unpack this testimony, we talk about how churches can carefully steward moments like these: creating space for prayer without pressure, weighing prophetic words in community, and celebrating outcomes while encouraging verification. For leaders and pastors, this is a call to prioritize presence over polish and to expect God to move in ways that heal, restore, and renew.

If you’ve ever wondered whether healing still happens or how to host it with integrity, this story offers a clear, concrete case: a problem named, a life touched, and a room transformed. Come hear the details, consider what it means for your faith and your church, and add your perspective. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review to help others find the show.

Linda Budd:

I was ministering at a women's conference. There was a lot of women there, and they were all dressed in pink because the name of the conference was pink. And uh as I got done preaching, I said, Now signs and wonders are going to follow the preaching of the word. Just then I looked up and I saw a man that I know to be a pastor from another city sitting in the very back. His wife was sitting in front with all the women. And I looked at him and I called him out and I said, Do you have a problem in your hips? And he said, Yes. And he leaned forward on the pew that he was sitting in. I said, I want you to walk down here. Jesus is going to give you a new hip. So he leaned forward and he took a hold of the pew in front of him. And just then he got frozen. It was a sign and a wonder. He couldn't move. His hands were on that pew to get up, but he could not get up. And he became very, very frozen. He said, I'm stuck. And then all of a sudden he couldn't even talk. And the Spirit of God came down on him, and I saw the Lord touch him. He physically shook in his body. And this was going on for a long time. And so I began to walk up the aisle and I saw his wife, and I got totally on fire, and I began to prophesy over her and told her that everything that had been happening in their life this last year was over, that the Lord had seen it, and now it was time for restoration and payback, that the challenging places were going to become an ease. And then I said to him, Now can you walk down here? And pretty soon he was finally able to get up. But let me tell you, the place was electrified. Women were falling out in the spirit everywhere. People were being touched everywhere when this happened because it was a true sign and a wonder. He began, he finally got up and he began to walk down the aisle. In fact, he began to run. And I said, Um, are you able to do something you haven't able to do? Is something different? And he said, Yes, I wasn't able to do this. He said, I had total hip replacement surgery, and I haven't been without a limp. He said the limp is gone and all the pain is gone, and he was running and he took off running around the room. I want to tell you that whatever limp that you have in your hip is being restored now in the name of Jesus. Whatever's wrong in your hip or both hips is being restored now in the name of Jesus. Grab a hold. I'm telling you, the power of God is coming upon you, pastors who are listening to this all across the world in the name of the Lord. The power of God is going to begin coming into churches, and upon pastors, there's going to be signs and wonders. We give praise to Jesus for this fantastic healing.
