Panic’s Hold Broken

A quiet room, a bold hunch, and a voice that finally says, “It’s me.” That’s where our conversation starts—right at the moment a woman names her panic and we uncover the hidden engine behind it: perfectionism. What follows is a grounded, faith-forward walk through how fear takes hold, how control pretends to keep us safe, and how speaking peace—out loud and on purpose—can break a cycle that feels impossible to escape.
We talk through the awkward beat when the first guess was wrong and why that mattered more than it seemed. Humility kept the door open long enough for the real story to surface. From there, we move into practical territory: what perfectionism looks like in daily life, how it primes the body for panic, and how to start loosening its grip. We pair clear declarations of peace with simple, repeatable steps—naming harsh inner rules, trading “must” for “good enough,” and practicing calm so the nervous system learns a new baseline. This isn’t theory floating in the air; it’s a lived moment of relief and a toolkit you can carry forward.
If you’ve ever felt your chest tighten when plans slip or details refuse to line up, this conversation offers language, courage, and a way through. We frame panic as something you can confront without shame, addressing both the spiritual and practical layers. You’ll hear how honesty creates space for healing, why community matters when fear whispers, and how guidance can replace the urge to control everything. Listen, take what you need, and try one small change today. If this resonates, share it with someone who’s tired of white-knuckling their way to “perfect,” and leave a review so more people can find a path from panic to peace.

I felt like someone was having panic attacks, and I just closed my message and I said that the Lord was going to heal some people. And so I felt like I knew the area that it was in, and I asked a couple if if one of them had panic attacks. Well, no, they didn't. And so I said, okay, I guess I missed it. Well, then the lady who was sitting in front of them said, It's me. I have panic attacks. And so I began to declare and decree over her that the panic would no longer happen. And by interviewing her, I was able to discover that she has a lot of perfectionism in her life. And if she feels like things aren't done just perfectly, then she starts to panic. And so if you struggle with perfectionism in the name of Jesus, I declare and I decree that that perfectionism is coming off of you, that you're no longer going to give way to that. It's a stronghold. Tell that demon spirit to come up and out in the name of Jesus. And we just replace that with no fear, and we just declare in the name of the Lord that you guide our footsteps and that all things are well. The panic is over now in Jesus' name.
