Heidi Oliver Season 1 Episode 21

In this episode of the "Connecting Goodness" podcast, Olga Davydova Allred shares her story of coming to know God. After joining The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Volgograd, Russia when she was 17, Olga served as a full-time missionary in Moscow, Russia. Olga returned from her mission to serve as a public affairs representative for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in southern Russia and shares her experience building relationships with government officials and people of other faiths. Olga describes how two scriptures have defined her life, "but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15) and "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalms 46:10). Following this counsel led her to sell everything she had and move to the United States to start a new life. Olga testifies that God knows us and our circumstances. He cares about our weaknesses and shows us a better way. Finally, Olga also shares that the most important relationship to build is our relationship with God.
