Episode 004: In this weeks episode, we open with the second installment of the Climber Zero and PWNY Boy saga. Climber Zero finds himself transported to 1975 in the midst of a duck and cover drill. Will he escape nuclear doom and poisonous pesticides? Stay tuned and find out.

In this episode, we discuss trees, pesticides, regulations, and environmental law with our guest Dr. Karl Brooks. Dr. Brooks earned his history B.A. from Yale while working for Idaho's U.S. Senator Frank Church.  He earned an International Relations M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and attended Harvard Law School.  He practiced law in Boise, while serving three terms in the Idaho State Senate.

He taught environmental history and law at KU for a decade before being appointed to serve as EPA Regional Administrator for the American Heartland in 2010 and then as national operations manager in 2015.  Brooks joined the New Mexico Judiciary as deputy director of the Administrative Office of the Courts, then served two years as senior staff executive for the multi-county judicial district based in Taos.
