When God called Jonah to Nineveh, he ran the other way, hoping distance could quiet God’s voice. But even in the storm Jonah created, God was still pursuing his heart. When Jonah finally surrendered, he discovered God was already at work—and lives were changed.
How often do we want God to do the hard things for us while we resist what He’s asking us to do? Faith doesn’t grow in comfort; it grows in surrender.
