In this episode of Be In The Know, we sit down with one of the CoFounders of Fentanyl Free Communities Foundation, Michele Hein. Michele's organization was the recipient of The Stiles Financial Community Service donation for 2025. FFCF was founded after Michele's son Tyler died of fentanyl poisoning while trying to get his life back on track after years of addiction. Listen in to hear how to spot fentanyl use in family or friends. Or how to register your company as a Narcan location to help those in need of this life-saving measure. Michele and her foundation partner, Paul Ostrow formed FFCF to help individuals and families avoid the pain and suffering Michele and her family endured. Fentanyl-Free Communities Foundation works to make changes in the Legislature to stop the spread of fentanyl in the US and to raise the menial penalties for distribution.
Fentanyl is everywhere. It attacks all communities regardless of socio-economic advantages. And ignoring it won't make it go away. Thanks to Michele and her foundation partner, Paul Ostrow for their amazing work. We at Stiles Financial are proud to be a partner and we hope you will also look to get involved in your own community.
