What are you being called to do and why are you not answering the calling? Alright, alright, alright. This is yours truly Jogie J Sumner, and I want to welcome you to another episode of the Breakthrough Boss podcast, the Daily Recharge, today's Breakthrough Boss Man's Daily Protocol. What are you being called to do and why are you not answering the calling? So, when we get to the heart of the matter, the reality is we all have a calling. We are all being called by our power, god, the universe, the voice, whatever you may prefer to call it. I simply refer to it as Christ, but you're being called by the voice to answer your calling in life, and as men, we often have a very difficult time answering this calling in life. As a matter of fact, most of us run from this calling in life. We pursue every avenue except for what the voice is calling us to do in our lives, and I think a large part of this is we are afraid of who we can be, we are afraid of what we can really do, we are afraid of what we say we desire to have. This is a very special episode of the Daily Recharge, and the reason why is because this is something that, in my life, I have always been seeking and, at the same time, I have always been avoiding, and that is a duality and a paradox in and of itself. It is a conflict, and so we want to begin to look at ways that we can resolve this inner conflict conflict. And so we want to begin to look at ways that we can resolve this inner conflict and so we can not only be called, not only be chosen, but so that we can step into our divine destiny and fulfill our calling immediately. So today, I want you to ask yourself and give yourself space when you ask this question what am I being called to do? And don't rush to answer, don't force it, don't allow your mind to fake you out. Just simply allow yourself to be guided by the voice, the voice within you, by the voice, the voice within you, the voice of your higher self, because your inner voice knows the way, it knows what your mind does not know, it knows your path, it knows your purpose and it can help you to accomplish and create the profits you desire to have to access your divine power. Accomplish and create the profits you desire to have, to access your divine power. It can give you access to resources you never even fathomed were possible If we will only take time and create a sacred space to dialogue and connect with this divine voice that we all have within us. You need to ask yourself this why are you not answering the calling on your life? For many reasons, I guess, you could say, and for many years I simply did not answer the calling on my life.

Speaker 1:

A part of my calling is to call men to the kingdom of Christ. A part of my calling is to call women to the kingdom of Christ, christ. A part of my calling is to call women to the kingdom of Christ. As of now, we are calling men so that men can rise as leaders, so that men can rise and fulfill their calling and their path and their purpose according to the divine voice, so that and men can lead not only themselves but their households, their significant others as well. But for many years I didn't want this calling and I remember my father spoke this over me as I was a young man. He spoke it over me in a different capacity, but nonetheless he knew that this is what I would be doing at some point in my life. And for many years again, I denied it, and one of the reasons why I denied it, because my frame and his frame of what that looked like just collided. They did not mesh, they did not integrate, and so I would encourage you to perhaps begin to reframe what your calling may look like, what you think the voice is calling you to do, and how that can be integrated with what you're being called to do by the voice and what you desire to do, because I do believe that there is a point of integration where you surrender your will to the will of a higher power of the divine and, at the same time, the voice leads you, the voice guides you and intermingles with your own personal desires. You will have to find your way to that, and the way that you will find your way to that will first come through submission of your will to the will of the divine, to the will of God, to the will of the voice, the universe. So I will begin to encourage you to ask yourself why have I not been answering the calling on my life? It will give you some insight. It will show you things you may have not wanted to see about yourself.

Speaker 1:

Oftentimes we are afraid, and as men we do not like admitting when we are afraid. I still do not like admitting when I'm afraid, I still sometimes have to surrender and pray and ask to be shown. What am I denying? Because when we deny how we feel, when we deny reality, when we deny what we are unwilling to do, what happens is it prevents us from creating and having what we desire to create and have or to do or to experience in our lives, for ourselves as well as for others. So really begin to give yourself the space, your spiritual space and your faith, whatever you may practice, to create space, to listen to the divine voice and ask yourself that question why am I not answering the calling on my life? Because most of the time, as men, we're not necessarily running towards what it is that we want. What we're doing is we're running away from the calling that the divine has placed on our lives. And, as it has often been said, we can run but we can't hide. And this is why often, over and over and over and over and over again, we find ourselves in similar situations and circumstances, saying, oh, I want this or I want that, or only if I made this much money, or only if I had this. And the reality is if only we surrender and submit it to the calling on our lives, then we would begin to feel our divine destiny and calling and we would begin to rise as men and we would begin to build and create what we have been called to build and create. That is something to think about, my friends. Let's move right along. Hmm, that is something to think about, my friends. Let's move right along.

Speaker 1:

The next question I want you to begin to ponder is this what can you begin to do to answer the calling on your life? Again, I stated this previously One of the most effective things that you can do, that I have learned to do, is to create a sacred space for you and your spiritual creator, for you and your faith. That can take on many different forms. The divine can speak to us in many different ways and through many different channels, but one of the most effective ways that I have found is to simply create a silent and still space to listen, and oftentimes listening means I quiet my mind, because the mind has so much chatter, the world has so much busyness, and when the mind has all of that chatter and the world has all that business coming at you, the soul remains quiet.

But, as my spiritual teacher, master Stephen Cole, said if you quiet the mind, the soul will speak. And when your soul speaks, you can hear the divine calling on your life and you will be led and you will be guided and you will know. You will know what to do, you will know where to go and you will know which direction to go in. So ask yourself what can I do to begin to answer the calling on my life? Today? The last thing we'll touch is this I want you to begin to ask yourself what am I being called to do?

You see, you have a unique calling on your life. You have a unique purpose in this life and it is divine. However, it will not come from your mind. It will not come from your mind. It will not come from your own selfish desires. It will come from a higher power. It will come from the voice within you. You will be led and you will be guided. And then you will go.

You will surrender your will. You will ask for guidance. You will ask for direction. There will be times you will surrender your will. You will ask for guidance. You will ask for direction. There will be times you will question who are you to do these great things. My suggestion or my question to that would be who are you not to do great things, as quoted by Nelson Mandela? And instinctively?

You already know everything that I'm speaking in this podcast On an instinctive level. You already know everything that I'm speaking in this podcast On an instinctive level. You already know that, as men, we already know this Yet and still we often avoid it, we often run from it, we often refuse to just stop running and embrace the calling on our lives. And that is my challenge to not only myself, but to you today. My challenge to you is for you to begin to embrace the calling on your life, for you to begin to listen to what the calling on your life is and to what the divine voice within you is calling you to do immediately, and to surrender your will to the will. What the divine voice within you is calling you to do immediately, and to surrender your will to the will of the divine, so that you can step into your divine destiny and serve at greater levels, produce at greater levels, create at greater levels, build at greater levels, experience at greater levels, because make no mistake about it. Levels, because make no mistake about it.

In order to achieve greatness, you need help. It is not a solo sport, it is a team sport, and so you're going to have to surrender and listen to what the voice is calling you to do and, when you are called, go. Do not hesitate. Just trust, and sometimes it can be a little tricky understanding if it's the voice or if it's your mind, and one of the things I have learned to do is ask that question Is this my inner voice or is this my mind? Because mind and spirit are two different things, and mind sometimes wants to keep us safe and in survival mode. But the divine voice is calling you to your path and to your greatest version of yourself, and that is the direction in which you must go.

So, as we end this call today, this daily podcast, at some point today or sometime this week, I want you to create a space, a sacred space for you to just be still and listen and know, and when you are still and when you are listening, the voice will speak to you. When you create that sacred space, you will be guided and you will know and you will rise. That's all I got for you guys today.
