Beyond the Back
Dr. Mike Corcoran and Heather Keating, CVT will open the doors to the treatment area and explain what happens when your pet goes back for tests like radiographs, bloodwork or ultrasound.
We'll also take time on the podcast to talk about different medical conditions to help pet parents understand better how to help their pets.
Finally, we'll have episodes where we talk to specialists about how their practice is different, and what they offer.
Beyond the Back
Episode 14 - GI Stasis in Herbivores, Part Two: Keep Things Moving!
This is part two of a 2-part episode on our little herbivore friends. Their anatomy and physiology is really cool and interesting, so you'll enjoy this episode even if you don't have one for a pet! GI stasis in rabbits, Guinea pigs, and chinchillas is a serious concern with many possible causes. In part two, we'll explain how to prevent stasis, what you can do at home, when to seek medical help, and what we will do.
For most episodes, we share images on social media to supplement the information we share.
