This episode is focused on another condition more common in exotics, usually reptiles. Nutritional Secondary Hyperparathyroidism (formerly known as Metabolic Bone Disease) is a problem of proper calcium utilization. It's an interesting, and unfortunately common disease encountered in reptiles. Fortunately, it's preventable with proper lighting and nutritional supplements.
