And I just pray it blesses you. I know, like just"},{"startTime":43.84,"endTime":47.44,"body":"even being reminded of the Bible verses, it has blessed"},{"startTime":47.44,"endTime":51.08,"body":"me. But today we're talking about a great responsibility."},{"startTime":51.88,"endTime":55.69,"body":"And I'll explain that a little more because our verse of the day is"},{"speaker":"Luke 12","startTime":55.69,"endTime":59.37,"body":"48, and it says this, to whom much"},{"speaker":"Luke 12","startTime":59.37,"endTime":63.21,"body":"is given, much will be required. And I was always"},{"speaker":"Luke 12","startTime":63.21,"endTime":66.97,"body":"told that, like, that's similar to the Spider man quote, with great"},{"speaker":"Luke 12","startTime":66.97,"endTime":70.77,"body":"power comes great responsibility. So that's why it's called a great"},{"speaker":"Luke 12","startTime":70.77,"endTime":74.49,"body":"responsibility. So I hope that makes sense. But yes, to whom much is"},{"speaker":"Luke 12","startTime":74.49,"endTime":77.61,"body":"given, much will be required. Luke"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":77.61,"endTime":81.42,"body":"48. And I think this is the perfect verse to sort of"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":81.42,"endTime":84.82,"body":"land this plane to bring this week in for a"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":84.82,"endTime":88.46,"body":"closing. Because God just doesn't want to"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":88.46,"endTime":92.18,"body":"expand our capacity and grow us just so we can be"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":92.18,"endTime":96.02,"body":"blessed, even though that is part of it. Because God wants us blessed, but it's"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":96.02,"endTime":99.58,"body":"not only so he can bless us. He wants"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":100.14,"endTime":103.42,"body":"us to have more, to expand our capacity"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":103.98,"endTime":107.79,"body":"so we can carry more responsibility, so we could serve well, even"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":107.79,"endTime":111.63,"body":"more people and make an even greater impact. Think"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":111.63,"endTime":115.11,"body":"about it from God's perspective. If we have big dreams, he"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":115.11,"endTime":118.63,"body":"grows our capacity, makes us stronger, blesses us with those big"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":118.63,"endTime":122.31,"body":"dreams. He's like, they can reach so much more people versus"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":122.31,"endTime":126.03,"body":"just staying small and having a lower capacity. That's what"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":126.03,"endTime":129.43,"body":"God wants for us. So think about it this way."},{"speaker":"12","startTime":129.59,"endTime":133.31,"body":"Increased capacity is a calling. And maybe it's not"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":133.31,"endTime":136.57,"body":"for you. Maybe you're comfortable having a small"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":136.57,"endTime":140.25,"body":"capacity and not wanting to reach a"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":140.25,"endTime":143.09,"body":"ton of people and serve a ton of people. And there's nothing wrong with that."},{"speaker":"12","startTime":143.09,"endTime":146.45,"body":"But I will say this. If you are feeling like you are made for more"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":146.45,"endTime":150.13,"body":"and you have a high capacity from God, know God's gonna"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":150.29,"endTime":154.05,"body":"require a lot from you. Because to whom much is given, much"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":154.05,"endTime":157.73,"body":"will be required. And it is a calling. With greater"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":157.73,"endTime":161.55,"body":"influence also comes greater accountability. So"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":161.55,"endTime":165.35,"body":"let's make sure that we're surrounding ourselves with good people. But"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":165.35,"endTime":168.71,"body":"also, if you feel that that is you, don't be afraid."},{"speaker":"12","startTime":169.35,"endTime":172.71,"body":"God will never give you more than you can handle."},{"speaker":"12","startTime":173.43,"endTime":176.31,"body":"I know you probably, if you're in a tough time right now, you're like, I"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":176.31,"endTime":179.15,"body":"don't want to hear that because this just feels like a lot more than I"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":179.15,"endTime":182.55,"body":"can handle. But guys, that's black and white. That's what the word of God says."},{"speaker":"12","startTime":182.63,"endTime":186.47,"body":"God will never give you more than he equips you to handle. So apparently it's"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":186.47,"endTime":190.29,"body":"like yesterday's episode. God is looking at you going, you're actually stronger than"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":190.29,"endTime":192.97,"body":"you think you are. And you need to increase your weight or you need to"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":192.97,"endTime":196.81,"body":"increase your reps. And maybe that's not what you want to hear, but it's"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":196.81,"endTime":200.57,"body":"the truth. So if he's growing your capacity, it's because he's"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":200.57,"endTime":204.41,"body":"entrusting you with more. So I actually want to leave you"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":204.41,"endTime":208.25,"body":"with a few questions and it's something just to think about maybe this,"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":208.25,"endTime":212.01,"body":"this day, maybe this weekend, and that's this. What does"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":212.49,"endTime":215.53,"body":"much is required look like in your life right now?"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":216.47,"endTime":219.91,"body":"Maybe. Does that mean serving your church more? Does that mean serving your community"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":220.07,"endTime":223.67,"body":"more? Does that mean pouring into your unsaved"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":223.75,"endTime":227.59,"body":"loved ones and co workers a little bit more? But what does that look like?"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":228.63,"endTime":232.47,"body":"And second, how can you respond with stewardship instead"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":232.47,"endTime":236.15,"body":"of fear, instead of being scared of the higher capacity"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":236.15,"endTime":239.87,"body":"that God wants to pour into you and put inside of you? How"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":239.87,"endTime":243.68,"body":"can you steward that gift? How can you steward that dream? And"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":243.68,"endTime":247.08,"body":"by steward, it doesn't just mean, oh, make it happen. And also,"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":247.08,"endTime":250.92,"body":"okay, just be ready for it, but also treat"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":250.92,"endTime":254.72,"body":"it well, steward it. Be a good steward of it."},{"speaker":"12","startTime":254.72,"endTime":258.08,"body":"Take care of it. Take care of that dream, take care of that gift, take"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":258.08,"endTime":261.8,"body":"care of the time that comes along with it. So how can you respond with"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":261.8,"endTime":265.52,"body":"stewardship instead of fear? So I pray that that has blessed you"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":265.52,"endTime":268.3,"body":"because with great power comes great responsibility."},{"speaker":"12","startTime":269.1,"endTime":272.86,"body":"But let's pray. Lord, we know that you will supply every need for the"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":291.34,"endTime":294.43,"body":"calling you have placed on our lives. And. And Lord, I just pray right now"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":294.43,"endTime":298.07,"body":"for every person who maybe doesn't necessarily believe that God,"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":298.47,"endTime":301.11,"body":"we just pray that they have the belief to believe"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":301.99,"endTime":305.83,"body":"that you will supply every need for the calling that you've placed on their"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":305.83,"endTime":309.63,"body":"life. Lord, teach us to steward the gifts that you have given"},{"speaker":"12","startTime":309.63,"endTime":313.43,"body":"us with wisdom and courage.
