Man, it can be so hard to understand"},{"startTime":85.13,"endTime":88.89,"body":"why we have to go through delays and difficult seasons, why the"},{"startTime":88.89,"endTime":92.53,"body":"breakthrough's not coming, why the thing we prayed for, why the thing we've worked"},{"startTime":92.53,"endTime":96.01,"body":"for, why the thing we thought we did, everything God asked us to do,"},{"startTime":96.17,"endTime":99.57,"body":"and it still hasn't come through. And you know what God's requiring. And Proverbs 3,"},{"startTime":115.006,"endTime":118.6,"body":"5, 6 tells us, Trust in the Lord with all your heart."},{"startTime":118.84,"endTime":122.36,"body":"Not parts of your heart, all of your heart. And lean not"},{"startTime":122.44,"endTime":126.12,"body":"to your own understanding. In all your ways,"},{"startTime":126.12,"endTime":129.76,"body":"submit to him and he will make your path straight. Chatgpt can't"},{"startTime":129.76,"endTime":133.56,"body":"fix this. We can't chatgpt our way. No"},{"startTime":133.84,"endTime":137.68,"body":"to the next season of our life. As Christians, as believers,"},{"startTime":138.24,"endTime":141.68,"body":"as faith walkers, we really have to just"},{"startTime":142.0,"endTime":145.8,"body":"take a breath and say, lord, what do I not know here? What"},{"startTime":145.8,"endTime":149.04,"body":"do I not see here? What are you trying to show me? I'm going to"},{"startTime":149.04,"endTime":152.64,"body":"Give you my own understanding, Lean not on"},{"startTime":152.64,"endTime":156.12,"body":"my own understanding. This word says, what is my"},{"startTime":156.12,"endTime":159.8,"body":"understanding? It's limited, I can tell you that. It's based on culture."},{"startTime":159.8,"endTime":163.59,"body":"My understandings influenced by scarcity and"},{"startTime":163.59,"endTime":167.31,"body":"lack that's in the culture today. It's based on finances. It's based on what I"},{"startTime":167.31,"endTime":170.39,"body":"can see. It's based on experience. What you've been through. Oh,"},{"startTime":171.19,"endTime":174.83,"body":"say that. That's the truth. So if I've been through something negative, that means"},{"startTime":174.83,"endTime":178.59,"body":"I'm gonna go again through something negative. When we lean not to our"},{"startTime":178.59,"endTime":182.07,"body":"own understanding, when we lean on God's ways,"},{"startTime":182.55,"endTime":186.11,"body":"all our ways, we acknowledge him. Every part of our heart, we give over to"},{"startTime":186.11,"endTime":189.67,"body":"God. You know, we can't just say the words"},{"startTime":190.33,"endTime":194.01,"body":"and not really walk this out in our life. And I think that's"},{"startTime":194.01,"endTime":197.73,"body":"why these five days with us together, or six days of their"},{"startTime":197.73,"endTime":201.29,"body":"bonus round is so important, because"},{"startTime":201.61,"endTime":205.41,"body":"it is a lesson that you will take with you throughout the rest of your"},{"startTime":205.41,"endTime":209.05,"body":"life. So true. And when you face those mountains and those times"},{"startTime":209.05,"endTime":212.57,"body":"where you're like, yeah, it's the climb. I hate that song. It's the Climb."},{"startTime":212.97,"endTime":216.81,"body":"I don't want to sing that song anymore. But it is. But once you"},{"startTime":216.81,"endTime":220.17,"body":"go through it one time, you have an"},{"startTime":220.17,"endTime":223.99,"body":"understanding that God gives you. It's so true. Based on how he"},{"startTime":223.99,"endTime":227.79,"body":"sees you and what he has for you. You get his understanding and you"},{"startTime":227.79,"endTime":231.47,"body":"surrender yours. Exactly. And, you know, I love what you said there"},{"startTime":231.47,"endTime":235.31,"body":"about getting his understanding. God wants to share"},{"startTime":235.31,"endTime":239.15,"body":"his understanding with. You how he does things. God wants you to"},{"startTime":239.15,"endTime":242.91,"body":"understand how he does things. Yes. And that's the grace and"},{"startTime":242.91,"endTime":246.55,"body":"the mercy of God. That's the goodness of God. Because he doesn't have to share"},{"startTime":246.55,"endTime":250.31,"body":"that with us. No, but what he does is in that season when"},{"startTime":250.31,"endTime":253.99,"body":"we lean not on our understanding, but we acknowledge"},{"startTime":253.99,"endTime":257.31,"body":"him. Yeah. He starts to show us"},{"startTime":257.63,"endTime":261.43,"body":"why he's doing what he's doing. That's good. He shows us why the spouse"},{"startTime":261.43,"endTime":265.11,"body":"isn't there yet. That's right. He shows us why there's no houses on the"},{"startTime":265.11,"endTime":268.95,"body":"market in your price range. He shows you maybe why the baby's"},{"startTime":268.95,"endTime":272.39,"body":"not in this season for you. He shows you why that that deal"},{"startTime":272.39,"endTime":275.54,"body":"isn't coming through. You get to the end and you have a new"},{"startTime":275.54,"endTime":279.34,"body":"understanding. Because God led you through that and he gave you"},{"startTime":279.34,"endTime":283.1,"body":"a taste of something you didn't understand before. And that's where"},{"startTime":283.1,"endTime":286.1,"body":"I think we have to go back and go, wow, God is so faithful. Because"},{"startTime":286.1,"endTime":288.98,"body":"he doesn't have to do that. And he doesn't."},{"startTime":289.86,"endTime":293.22,"body":"We talked about it the other day. God doesn't put us to sleep"},{"startTime":293.46,"endTime":297.22,"body":"and then wake us up when the season's right. Yeah, that's right. He"},{"startTime":297.22,"endTime":300.1,"body":"could. Yeah. I mean, he did it with plenty of people in the Bible. Yeah."},{"startTime":300.1,"endTime":303.86,"body":"But he keeps us wide awake. Wide awake, our eyes open, and"},{"startTime":303.86,"endTime":307.34,"body":"he walks us through that season of submission. Yes, he does."},{"startTime":307.5,"endTime":311.34,"body":"And it's on us, though, to humble ourselves, to"},{"startTime":311.34,"endTime":315.06,"body":"surrender to him, but to lean on his understanding. And at the end of it,"},{"startTime":315.06,"endTime":318.9,"body":"we're going to gain a brand new understanding. Because everybody that comes"},{"startTime":318.9,"endTime":322.54,"body":"out of a submission season or a season where they've had to surrender to God,"},{"startTime":322.7,"endTime":325.92,"body":"they always come out going, I don't know who the girl was back. I know"},{"startTime":325.92,"endTime":328.52,"body":"it. I know. I don't know who that guy. I don't know who I thought"},{"startTime":328.52,"endTime":332.2,"body":"I was, that I thought I was ready. I was so not ready. God's"},{"startTime":332.2,"endTime":335.48,"body":"grace. I get it now. I understand a level of God's grace that I'd never"},{"startTime":335.48,"endTime":339.12,"body":"seen before. Exactly. He said no to me. Yes. He said,"},{"startTime":339.12,"endTime":342.6,"body":"not now. Yes. And I am so grateful because he loves me and he protected"},{"startTime":342.6,"endTime":346.12,"body":"me. Amen. That's the understanding he wants you to have. But you don't get to"},{"startTime":346.12,"endTime":349.88,"body":"exchange your understanding, which is all your childish desires"},{"startTime":349.88,"endTime":353.44,"body":"really for his without going through a season of"},{"startTime":353.44,"endTime":357.12,"body":"saying, I hate this. It's not fair."},{"startTime":357.2,"endTime":360.56,"body":"It's true. It shouldn't be this way. I've been good."},{"startTime":361.12,"endTime":364.56,"body":"I go to church. I serve the Lord. I sing on the worship team. I"},{"startTime":364.56,"endTime":367.519,"body":"tithe, I do everything you ask me to do. I read my Bible. I've done"},{"startTime":367.519,"endTime":371.36,"body":"it all. You're getting there, but you're not there yet. That's so good."},{"startTime":371.44,"endTime":374.8,"body":"Can we pray? Can you pray us out? Lord, we just thank you again for"},{"startTime":374.8,"endTime":378.52,"body":"every listener that's on this call. And we ask you that you would give"},{"startTime":378.68,"endTime":382.12,"body":"them the courage to lay down their understanding, to"},{"startTime":382.12,"endTime":385.92,"body":"exchange their understanding for yours.
