And"},{"startTime":42.07,"endTime":45.63,"body":"yesterday we talked about about the goodness of God and how we get to"},{"startTime":45.63,"endTime":49.43,"body":"taste it and see the goodness of the Lord in every season of our life."},{"startTime":49.99,"endTime":53.67,"body":"And I also mentioned that tomorrow I am bringing a"},{"startTime":53.67,"endTime":57.34,"body":"special guest to help me finish out the week. But until we get to tomorrow and we talk more about prayer,"},{"startTime":76.42,"endTime":79.42,"body":"I wanted to do a couple of topics that I think are good for us"},{"startTime":79.42,"endTime":83.1,"body":"to get enough spirit as we even dive deeper into prayer."},{"startTime":83.1,"endTime":86.86,"body":"And yesterday, like I mentioned, it was about the goodness of the Lord. And today"},{"startTime":86.86,"endTime":90.6,"body":"I want to be I to talk about entering the"},{"startTime":90.6,"endTime":94.32,"body":"courts, entering God's presence. And there is a verse"},{"startTime":94.32,"endTime":98.12,"body":"that I've used actually before. I've done a podcast already on"},{"startTime":98.12,"endTime":101.96,"body":"this verse and I bet my sisters have done it too. But it's"},{"startTime":101.96,"endTime":105.56,"body":"such a great verse and it's because the Lord is telling us how to do"},{"startTime":105.56,"endTime":109.2,"body":"something. And as we prepare to learn about prayer"},{"startTime":109.36,"endTime":113.08,"body":"and how to do it and how to be confident in it tomorrow and how"},{"startTime":113.08,"endTime":116.93,"body":"to better our relationship with God through it. I wanted to read this verse"},{"startTime":116.93,"endTime":120.49,"body":"just as a reminder. So I'm not"},{"startTime":120.49,"endTime":124.17,"body":"sharing any new revelation from this verse, but just what the"},{"startTime":124.17,"endTime":127.29,"body":"Bible tells us about this verse and is"},{"startTime":127.77,"endTime":131.45,"body":"Psalm 104 and it says, enter into his"},{"startTime":131.45,"endTime":134.97,"body":"gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise."},{"startTime":135.21,"endTime":138.97,"body":"Be thankful unto him and bless his name."},{"startTime":139.37,"endTime":143.13,"body":"And so guys, let's make sure that today, before we get"},{"startTime":143.13,"endTime":146.85,"body":"to tomorrow, we find reasons to really thank the Lord."},{"startTime":147.09,"endTime":150.85,"body":"Yesterday we found reasons to see the goodness of the Lord"},{"startTime":150.85,"endTime":154.57,"body":"through it all. Well, today, now we need now that We've seen"},{"startTime":154.57,"endTime":157.89,"body":"the goodness. Let's thank the Lord for it."},{"startTime":157.97,"endTime":161.73,"body":"There's a lot of things that we should be thankful for."},{"startTime":162.05,"endTime":165.57,"body":"And my father in law wrote a book that is called 42"},{"startTime":165.97,"endTime":169.57,"body":"and his the line, the big line of the book is you're not dead,"},{"startTime":169.96,"endTime":173.56,"body":"God's not done. And I truly that line"},{"startTime":173.56,"endTime":177.12,"body":"one first of all is so powerful, but it's so true. So if you are"},{"startTime":177.12,"endTime":180.28,"body":"breathing today, if you're listening today, there's a reason"},{"startTime":180.52,"endTime":184.12,"body":"God's not done with you. So that means there's. There's things"},{"startTime":184.12,"endTime":187.8,"body":"that you can thank the Lord for, there's things that, that"},{"startTime":187.8,"endTime":191.6,"body":"you've overcome, there's things that you have accomplished. If you're"},{"startTime":191.6,"endTime":195.16,"body":"standing here today, there is reasons to thank the Lord."},{"startTime":195.71,"endTime":199.39,"body":"And we don't always have to be overly thankful"},{"startTime":199.39,"endTime":203.19,"body":"for these massive things, but sometimes we just have to be thankful"},{"startTime":203.19,"endTime":207.03,"body":"that we woke up and had we were able to breathe today. We have to"},{"startTime":207.03,"endTime":210.39,"body":"thank the Lord that, that we have a job, that we have a family, that"},{"startTime":210.39,"endTime":213.83,"body":"our kids are healthy or that our spouses are"},{"startTime":213.83,"endTime":217.55,"body":"healthy, that our family is healthy. Just things to"},{"startTime":217.55,"endTime":221.11,"body":"thank the Lord for A simple thank you Lord for this meal. Thank you for"},{"startTime":221.11,"endTime":224.94,"body":"providing for me to have to eat today."},{"startTime":225.18,"endTime":229.02,"body":"We forget the little things, the little miracles that we"},{"startTime":229.02,"endTime":232.86,"body":"should be thankful for. And if our posture is to always be"},{"startTime":233.18,"endTime":236.78,"body":"thankful, even in hard moments, our attitude and everything"},{"startTime":236.78,"endTime":240.22,"body":"will just shift and that will just allow us to hear from the Lord,"},{"startTime":240.46,"endTime":243.7,"body":"see things better. Because our heart and our mind is not on"},{"startTime":243.7,"endTime":247.38,"body":"negativity or things that we shouldn't be thinking about. It's"},{"startTime":247.38,"endTime":251.18,"body":"unthankfulness. And that alone allows us to enter"},{"startTime":252.1,"endTime":255.94,"body":"the presence of the Lord. It gives us clear eyes"},{"startTime":255.94,"endTime":259.38,"body":"and a clear mind and clear ears to truly experience"},{"startTime":259.7,"endTime":263.3,"body":"the Lord. It's almost like a cleansing and having you guys notice that"},{"startTime":263.54,"endTime":266.98,"body":"when you're thankful, you feel better. When you're"},{"startTime":266.98,"endTime":270.74,"body":"complaining, when you're comparing yourself to others, when you're"},{"startTime":271.14,"endTime":274.66,"body":"a little sad and you're kind of dealing with some of those"},{"startTime":274.66,"endTime":278.39,"body":"emotions and staying in those emotions, you actually feel"},{"startTime":278.39,"endTime":282.07,"body":"worse about yourself and it leads you to awful thoughts."},{"startTime":282.07,"endTime":285.59,"body":"Your attitude changes, you're rude to your family, you're"},{"startTime":285.59,"endTime":289.23,"body":"angry. You find yourself not liking a person that"},{"startTime":289.23,"endTime":292.99,"body":"you've never had a problem with. But for some reason that person is bothering"},{"startTime":292.99,"endTime":296.47,"body":"you now and you find yourself finding a problem with"},{"startTime":296.47,"endTime":300.07,"body":"everything and everyone that you see. And that's because"},{"startTime":300.07,"endTime":303.67,"body":"we're not focusing on thankfulness. That's us"},{"startTime":303.67,"endTime":307.19,"body":"not spending time and saying, lord, I'm thankful for this and truly"},{"startTime":307.8,"endTime":311.56,"body":"entering his gates with thanksgiving, but it also says"},{"startTime":311.56,"endTime":315.0,"body":"with praise and blessing the Lord's name. So today"},{"startTime":316.28,"endTime":320.04,"body":"let's thank the Lord, let's praise the Lord and let's just"},{"startTime":320.04,"endTime":323.4,"body":"bless his name because the Lord is worthy of all our praise."},{"startTime":323.64,"endTime":327.4,"body":"And we're going to see how much more effective our prayer life"},{"startTime":327.56,"endTime":331.28,"body":"is when we come with this attitude. And not just our prayer life, but"},{"startTime":331.28,"endTime":335.08,"body":"our everyday life with the Lord. So let's pray. Thank you that we are breathing today.
