Okay, welcome. Good morning. Welcome to another episode of me my mom and the internet. I came back where me and my mom talking about the internet right? How are you mom? I'm doing good. It's not raining this time because last time it was right yeah. Which it never rains in San Diego. Today's it's beautiful. This is a better day I know your beautiful office. Yeah, thank you and checking in from last episode. How do you think last episode went our first episode ever recording you said nine out of 10 That was good. Yeah, I was I was a little I was nervous. I was nervous but it was it was you're right you're right. And we're back again with another episode um, I thought we'd check in just you know, see how what's up how's it going? Tell me something for example that you're like listening to right now because I know you said your favorite part of pop culture is music it is so what are you listening to? I'm all over the place. I was listening to some Nine Inch Nails Oh, oh my oh my like my Trent Reznor. Okay. But I was listening to Duran Duran because I doing I was baking yesterday. Yesterday was good baking weather. So I was baking. And I was listening to Duran Duran and him not me because I thought about you because in the one of the videos, it's like Hungry Like a wolf. That guy goes to kiss the beautiful model. And she turns into like a, like a, like a Jaguar or a leopard or whatever. But yeah, they were tattoo. They were big. I mean, they had lots of hits and stuff like that. And it's fun music. You know, I was gonna say, I'm not super familiar with Duran Duran, but aren't they like, Rom Com vibes? Kinda? Yeah. Like, I feel. I mean, they had a lot of hits. But yeah, did a lot of good hits. and stuff. Yeah, but they're good. That's where you're listening to? Well, I mean, every day it changes. Yeah. Okay. She's a music connoisseur everybody. She's a connoisseur. Exactly. I've been listening to Carol G. Okay. Do you know Carol Joe? Okay. Well, she's Latina reggaeton artist, and she's just gorgeous. First off, she's like, the not trying to compare to other colombiana but she's like a Sofia Vergata Chiquita sexy young like artists but her and her music's really good. She's a singer. But she has this this video that came out hashtag inclusivity because she from what I think is like straight but this video is her kind of in this cutesy love Teenage Dream, you know, flirty vibe with this other girl. Young Miko who's also a reggaeton artists and young Miko is actually gay. So she's but so basically this this music video, it's called contigo with Carole G. How would you describe her I got the one to your viewers. I'm trying to tell you about this video. But the point is that contigo is what I have in the studio, and it just doesn't help. It helps that the music video is like this inclusive, inclusive, girl girl or love and it's like a teenage love and it's so cute. Like if I was like a little teenager of like, Oh my God. I got represented. That's what I would be like, I mean, I do that. No, yeah. So what I get done, yeah, it was your question. Yeah. How would you describe it? Like urban Latino, right. So it's like Latino music. Latinos sing it with primarily in Spanish, with a drumbeat that's like, a mix of club and rap, like a drumbeat. And then usually the lyrics and stuff like that are pretty modern, pop, Young. Easy to dance to Yeah. Oh, yeah. A couple of shots of tequila. It's a club bought for sure that I get those artists. But yeah, it's like rap, but Latino. What's your name? Carol G. Carol. She's more of a singer though. Okay, but, but I guess she does kind of rap. But that's what I've been listening to trilogies. And she has a album that I think release at the end of 2023 called Manyana Seta Monita. So it's just nice. It's just nice songs. I don't know. She's good. Good. I understand about 70% of the album with my Spanish skills, but you know, she's pretty good. I'm very impressed with your Spanish. Yeah. Thank you. It's not easy learning another. Oh, no, I feel horrible for people trying to learn English. Like that's harder. Yeah. Like it is. It is. I mean, my first language was actually Spanish. And Grandma and Grandpa just spoke nothing but Spanish at home. Yeah. And I didn't learn English until I got into kindergarten. And then it was like, we're just a little five year old like, like, yeah, came right like Dora the Explorer. Yeah. And just you you're you're like a sponge when you're a kid and you just soak it up? Yeah, that's nice. That's nice. So yeah, I mean, I listened to get the phone. I understand it. I like it. It's a bob. I like the artists. But that's what I've been listening to you, but I get that. Yeah, check it out. We're not at that segment. I'm going straight to the end. Check it out. And that wraps. Five minutes. Okay, getting into the meat and potatoes, as they say of this podcast, our first topic that we're going to talk about is our top five of what we think kind of similar to last episode, but sex scandals. Oh, okay. Yeah, five, huh? Okay, well, maybe whatever. Sorry. I mean, we're flexible can be a tough one. I didn't think it through that much. Okay, but I'll start. We'll come to me while you're exactly, exactly. Mom member. I know. We, would you prefer a mic? Don't worry, but I'm just giving you a hard time, which is fine. Okay, I did five or sorry, I did five. But I'm going to start with my fifth one that is like, I think I just have to put on the list just because of his iconic sex scandal, which is the Clinton Bill Clinton. Lewinsky, I did not have sexual, right, with that woman. I know limited about it, because I was young at the time, but the whole like, then he got acquitted. And then he like left, right. He didn't get it. Did he get impeached? Yeah, he got impeached. But then he was just like, Okay, see you later. Right? Because we all know that presidents can get impeached and not do anything. But he was like, I'm out. That's enough for me. But yeah, I mean, I feel like it was really iconic of like, the 20th century, right. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I felt bad for Monica Lewinsky because she got labeled the other woman and the mistress. And she was young. She was like, 20 or 21. But there's a picture of, she's standing outside, there's an iconic picture. And she's wearing this little Bray, Bray hat and stuff. And you know, she's looking at him, but she's giving him this look like I love you. I want you take me, you know, it's so sad. He took I mean, he was a man of power. And he took advantage of her. But Clinton was a womanizer. I mean, and Hillary, I mean, there's been talk, that relationship is kind of like a relationship of convenience, or they're a power couple of DC and stuff like that. She does her own thing he does. And, you know, can I go on a side note, please? Okay. So when I worked, I worked with I supervised doctors and analysts and stuff like that one of the doctors said that he had a friend who owned a private jet, and the private jet would fly, you know, across country and stuff like that. And one time in the private jet. Bill Clinton was on the private jet, and that they would have parties where anything goes up in the air. And that's, you know, I mean, that's where you that's what you do at the Mile High Club, you know, and because Hillary's not, yeah, dude, you know, it's like, what happens up in the air stays in the air, and you have that much money in power? Come on. I just find out that happens. Yeah, yeah. More than probably we think and even with people who are like the good guys, or the, I'm just like, right, right. So she kept, she had a blue dress that had like a semen stain on it. And she kept that dress. Oh, really? Yes, as proof. And she was confiding to Linda Tripp, who was her friend at the time, you know? Well, Linda Tripp's, the one that blew the lid off of it and said, hey, guess what, Bill Clinton screwed around with Monica Lewinsky. And she kind of broke her confidence. So and then yeah, so even to this day, when you say Monica Lewinsky you know, but Monica Lewinsky went on to do lots of things. She actually had a like a, like a I think clothing line or purse line and I have one number personal. Which you inherit someday. But it's kind of like, its true. True theme. Yeah. Monica Lewinsky Yeah, I remember I know that she did kind of like stay undercover for years. And then she came back out I think in like, what 2010 or something like kind of maybe that was around the same time as the purse line. But she did her like okay, let me stay low for a little bit. And then she came back out and she's like, hearing him. And now she's giving like lectures and stuff like that, like TED Talk to her. Yeah, good for her self esteem. And yeah, getting past adversity and stuff like that. But she was branded like a scarlet letter. Like she was a husky. But I felt sorry for I think he was the man. Yeah, yeah. Okay, do you have a fiver? You'll make you guys let me see. Um, you know, what was one of them back in the IQ? I'm an 80s. Girl. Okay, one of the things was Rob Lowe. Ron loaning, you know about okay, when I was doing a little bit of research on some of my sex tape, sex scandals that I have about to say, I saw some stuff on Rob Lowe that he was OG sex tape guy. Yes, yes. Before it was even a thing. And keep in mind the guy's been gorgeous forever. Yeah, he is. And he ages I feel like
Speaker 1 9:54
no, he was part of the Brat Pack and st almost fire and He just, you know, good looking guy. But anyway, I believe it was in Atlanta and the Olympics back then. And he went to a bar and he met this girl. And because she was in a bar, he thought she was like, 21. Well, it turns out, she was like, 17 and a half or whatever. She was under age, but she looked like she was like, Yeah, or something like that. So they went back to his hotel, and they had sex and they taped it. He thinking two consenting adults, you know, and then it came out where she and her friend, you know, leaked the tape. And but back then it was a big deal. It was like, almost like career ending like this could you know, but luckily, he was a good actor. He was good looking. And he did some pure control and stuff like that was gonna say, what did he What was his response? He was like, I'm sorry. I didn't know I met her in a bar. She was there drinking. I just assumed she was 21. I mean, that that's a legit thing. I mean, right. Sounds sincere. Right. Sounds like he made an honest mistake. And then immediately, he was like, my bad, right. Yeah. And I think it's something that that famous people have to deal with. When you go out with who you say stuff to even text. I don't like the fact that people could screenshot a text and then share it all over the place. I think what you say between two people should be, you know, in private. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Well, that's a good one. I was reading about how he was the OG sex tape. Yeah. Nobody was doing it back then. And then it came out as oh my gosh, but you know what? He was single. She was single. He didn't know that. She was, you know, it wasn't like he was a pervert. Yeah. And looking for a child. He thought she was legit of age, you know? Yeah, it was like a sex scandal. That wasn't too scandalous. Who wouldn't have sex with Rob? Is Hansa is a handsome guy. He's still looking good. I know. Great. I know. All right. My number four on the pot on the sex scape sex tape scandals or sex tapes. Is the Paris Hilton sex tape. Oh, yeah. Because she was after Kim K's sex tape thing. I think it was like after but, but she was before when she before she Dang, I don't remember now. I don't know. I think she was before. But the whole point was that she's just number four for me because I love Paris. I think she's like really cool. And I thought it was a shame that she was done so dirty by that guy that I think he was like a poker player or something like that. He released the tape without her knowing it was just your classic like she didn't know. It was I think 30 seconds or something of it. And and she did a meme. I was reading up on it. And she did a memoir in her book. I think she talked about it. And she was saying that she was on like koi lose at the time. And she was coerced into filming this tape. But it was definitely she said it was like one of the most horrible moments of her life. Because I mean, imagine I think at the time, she was like 20 something and the guy who filmed with her, he was like 30 something. So the age gap and that sex tape is just I just do what's yet and we see a trend of these older guys taking advantage. I mean, yeah, but you know, I mean, you gotta have some common sense to you. Yeah. She said in her book. It was like a quote. And she said something along the lines of like, I thought as a young adult that I was being too naive and too kid like to not do this grown up thing with this grown up. So in her mind, she was like, well, the grown ups make sex tapes just by Rob Lowe did it. She's like, you know, like, trying to think that but she said she felt coerced and all that stuff, but I put her on there because Paris is iconic. And I feel like it was just another icon sex tape thing. Do you have any memorable ones just reminded me of iconic sex tapes was Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. Oh, okay. I don't know that one. Okay, they were married. Okay. And they had a couple of kids a couple of boys and stuff like that. But I mean, she's a blonde bombshell and back when they got married. She was like, you know, she was at her hotness, you know? And then Tommy Lee's a drummer of Motley Crue and stuff like that, but apparently he's very well hung. Okay, okay, but they were on a boat and I guess they just got married or something like that and they were like having sex all over the boat and stuff like that Wyoming it Yeah, and then somebody on the crew rockstars Yeah. Released the tape them so the tape got out apparently they didn't want it out. And it got out and then you know, we're saying that you know, Tommy Lee was so well hung that he just steered but what this was there was like the memes of that before yes existed of yeah, all that stuff. That's funny. That's funny, but why was it Why do you think it was iconic for you? Or why do you think it was like such a big deal just because of Tommy Lee being so well hung out there like oh, this is hot couple it was due on Apple tape was released like and then it was all of a sudden like everybody wants to see like nobody was really shocked because he's a rocker and he's had a zillion women and she's blonde bombshell and she's not very I mean, she's she was on Playboy right over and over. So wasn't that you know, it was just the fact that hey, there's a sex tape out there and it's hot and it's hot. Yeah. And somebody illegally took it. You know, see there I go with the mic. But yeah, obviously that's like a that's like a sex tape. Where it's almost like a good sex tape. Right kinda. Well, that. Are you going to talk about Kim? Kim? You are. But we're not there. We're not there. I'm sure you can guess what number she is. Yes. Don't look at my list. I was gonna look at your list. Look at it. Okay, number three for me. Top five SEC scandals. It's not even about the scandal. It's about the absolute shit show that happened after John and Kate Plus eight. Really? Yeah. Do you know anything about that? I know. Okay, well, do you know about all everything after like, the custody and all this stuff? And it's a lot. I mean, I don't having eight kids is a lot. I mean, I kind of want to give the guy some slack. But you think he's uh, you don't like the guy? I don't know that's trying to do is that it started with him. Allegedly kind of cheating. And then but they it was like, right at the time, they were about to get a divorce. So it was kinda like, I mean, he was a cheater. They got a divorce. But she was kind of weird to. She was kind of weird. And I'm like, Man, I'd want to get out of the house to eight kids. I know. Eight. Yeah. And a lot. I know. And a lot of them are at the same age as saying it's good to cheat. But I'm just saying I can understand how things happen. Yeah. When you're stressed and right. I mean, yeah. But it was kind of like a dysfunctional couple who ended up having sex and having a family? And didn't they already have a couple kids or something like that? No. I don't know. I don't think so. I think they had all ages together and stuff. And then. But after the divorce, the custody battle went on for like 10 to 15 years or something like that, because it struggled because he was trying to get he would have random jobs. And I mean, when you have to pay that much child support. I mean, yeah, Bernie was tight. Yeah. But he started winning, he started looking and that's part of the scandal that I'm actually like interested in is that he went from this guy who cheated to like not being cool. And then the script flipped onto Kate where stuff came out that she hit the kids and that she was loca and all this stuff. And then she tried to deny it. And it was just back and forth. And even the kids came out and said, I don't want to live with some kids that don't want to live with my mom. Like because she's crazy. So then then they have to do separate child support cases for each kid. So like the older kid went to live what I know and then then there's a they have another kid that makes me look good. I just drew that's true. Then you have another kid who had like special needs and then the special needs like right when you're thinking like oh, John's actually not a bad dude. Like maybe Kate's the crazy one or whatever. Then right in the middle of that happening in like 2018 or 20 or something like that. Then the special needs kid comes out and says John, like a mentally abuses me and yells at me. And then you're like, what, who is what it's like, who's doing everything, but then he was saying that he was lashing out it was just a mess with the custody with the kids. So that scandal just led to this just insane. domino effect of these children going through. I feel bad for the kids. Yeah. What about another one for you? Do you have another? Okay, there was a I've got a few actually. I've got David Bowie and Mick Jagger. See, you're bringing the ones that I know knowing and oh, wait when they get goes even further back. Okay. Anyway, so apparently Bianca Jagger, Mick Jagger's wife at the time the 70s walked in on David Bowie and Magellan bed. Okay. But it she didn't catch him in the act of having sex, but they were like in bed together. So the innuendo was that, you know, they they probably got their groove on Yeah, yeah. But it was big deal. Because back then two man dudes, right. And everyone was like, no, they're both mega stars at the time and stuff like that. And I understand. I don't know what what Mick Jagger if he's denied it or not. I think they just kind of know comment type thing, you know, which means I did it. You know, I'm getting Yeah, okay. Okay, so we're getting into Top. Top two for me. We already I think we all know what number one is for me. But number two, Tiger Woods. Oh, yeah. sued. That was crazy. That went from Tigers talk about I'm in a personal branding. I'm into just brandy in general. He went from America's like golfer of like this. Well, he
Speaker 1 19:54
was a man. Yeah, he was golfing since he was like three Yeah, with his dad. Yeah, yeah, he went to this American golfer good guy, a lot of people liked him just cruising along in life. We all find our way. He's a beautiful, like Swedish model. I mean, she's gorgeous. Yeah. And then we all find out that he's a serial cheater. It's not just one, lady. It's like, it was a hot, it was over 100 It was over 100 I think I read 120 And I mean, some of them were not gorgeous. I mean, that goes to show you it's like, it's like, I just thought of another one sex addict. Yeah, but that that he overnight he went from, like this good dude, that everyone like to just just come back right in like, less than a week. But you know what, he persevered. I mean, he was so revered as American, you know, icon being, you know, so good at golfing and that that, you know, but it did, he did have a setback. And I guess he was on on like, taking pills and depression. He was going through some issues, and I couldn't see because he was really close to his dad, his dad had passed away and that and you know, he's very close to his dad when he was growing up his dad, you know, helped teach him, you know, golf and that. Yeah, he did. He did make a comeback. Whoever his PR person is the race because he did make a comeback. And we haven't all forgotten but we're all just also like, Well, come on, man. You're like the best golf so we have to support you. Yeah, Nike stood behind him. Yeah, I didn't know that. Yeah, cool. Yeah. He always wears that. This little swish on his on his hat. Yeah. Yeah, well, it was my number two yet. Tell me another one. Well, I just thought or other ones. Okay. I've got actually a three now. Okay, go ahead. This works for me. Okay, three would be Courtney Love and Gavin Rossdale Bush no idea who they are you seriously. Okay. Gavin Rossdale was married to Gwen Stefani. Okay, okay. Okay. They were married. Before Yeah. Okay, before they were married. He cheated on Gwen Stefani with Courtney Love, Courtney Love was the girlfriend of Kurt Cobain. Oh, Ivana. So they both cheated with each other. I don't she must. I don't know if she was with Kurt at that time or not to tell you the truth. But they had a like a they were screwing around while he was with Gwen Stefani for like eight months. You know? And then, you know, at that time, Courtney Love was big into drugs. She was a hot mess. She was like a sloppy drunk when the drugs she was she was a hot mess. And then she hooked up with Kurt Cobain, and they both started doing drugs. And, you know, of course, he ended up committing suicide. She was in rehab when he committed suicide and stuff like that. But that was a scandal of really your lead. You're cheating on Gwen Stefani. Who's beautiful with hot mess. Express. Here Yeah, yeah, exactly. I don't know why people acts or whatever. Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna let you go. I don't want to go because I'm gonna let you go again. And then I want to talk about my number one. Okay, you tell me one. Okay, number two, which I thought all you are talking was Arnold Schwarzenegger and his maid. Okay. With a secret kid. Yes. What the secret kid? And that just goes to show you men are dogs. The moral of the story of this whole segment is God, yeah. So it was she wasn't even and I shouldn't say this, but she wasn't even that attractive. It's like she was just there. So I think it was a fare of convenience. You know, and what happened? Like, kind of recap that again, like so he was he was a live in maid. He was married to Maria Shriver, and he ended up having sex with her and having this kid. But now it turns out that the kid looks exactly like him. Well, really? Good twins. Wow. Yeah. When he was younger. Yeah. Yeah. And he's very accomplished. Now. He's graduated college, he works out. He's very buff. And he and Arnold are really close. So, you know, Arnold Schwarzenegger did the right thing, you know, not punishing the kid or whatever. And he provided for him. And that but um, like, you know, wasn't the kid of secret for a long year, something like how many like how did that happen? Because he would set up her with her he would pay for her rent. Got it? It was it was yeah, the nannies or whatever, you know, I guess she moved out or whatever when they found out about it, you know, but it was a big deal. And he apologized for it. And he's you know, admitted that he screwed up, you know, but it's like what were you in? She was like, she wasn't even you know? Yeah, I could shoot somebody super hot like if you gotta have a guard and she's like, that's why you never get an attractive nanny. Yeah, I always honestly that's that's the second tip. Today Yeah, yeah. But a good thing that he raised a kid right he made it right because some people will just kick out the may kick out the kid be like your problem. See you later but Now they're very close. That's good. Yeah. Good. Okay. You want my number one? Yep. Okay. My number one was when I was a kid. I mean, this is but it's so iconic. It's Marilyn. Marilyn Monroe and JFK. Okay. President Kennedy heard snippets of that. Can you tell me more about that? Okay. President John Kennedy was a womanizer he liked. I mean, there were other presidents. I'm sure that were womanizers, too. But he was cute too, right. Yeah, he was cute. He is wealthy. The Kennedys had a dynasty American dynasty in American politics. Joe, the father was, you know, a very wealthy and apparently tied in with the mob to you know, so they had some pool with boats and stuff like that, and support and money. And that, but they're wealthy. They're very, you know, but anyway, so, Marilyn Monroe, you know, beautiful actress, and that she had an affair with John Kennedy. And she fell in love with him. And there's a famous video of her singing Happy Birthday, Mr. President. Yeah. And, you know, Jacqueline Kennedy, the wife is sitting next to John Kennedy. And she's, you know, Maryland's up on stage, serenading her husband all sexy and hot. Like, okay, not cool. You know, awkward. Yeah. Yeah. But anyway, so she really was in love with John Kennedy, the President and that so much so that it started to be troublesome when the administration, and then she started some kind of affair with the brother, Robert Kennedy, who was the attorney general. So Robert Kennedy, and John Kennedy. Were both with Marilyn Monroe, but she really loved John Kennedy. But it started to get messy and that the conspiracy at the time was, did she really commit suicide because they found her dad with pills, and she was drinking a lot and stuff like that, she started to get messy to where she would forget her lines or movies. And she started, she had a lot of issues and that she was a troubled woman, you know, unlucky in love and that, but the conspiracy theory was that, you know, did somebody take her out? What she did she really commit suicide? Or was she you know, we gotta get rid of her because she's becoming a liability for the administration here. You've got an up and coming, you know, it's a dynasty. It's not just any right, like, so they got power. Right. So that was think. I don't know. I mean, you know, it was nothing ever came of it. I mean, they investigated it. There's been a bunch of books there. I'm sure there's documentaries about it and stuff like that. So it looks like whoever did it or whoever. It looks like she did commit suicide. Yeah. Or I don't know, intentionally or accidentally, but she drank a lot or took some pills or whatever. But they found her, you know, yeah, but you know, the sad ending to it because she loves triangle. Exactly. Yeah. Okay, what's, wow, what's your number one? I love Kim K. Kim J. X. Ray J. Yes, it was a thing. And that one also, speaking of conspiracy theories, does have a conspiracy theory, conspiracy theory attached to it. That did they release it on purpose? Yes. Because they actually discussed this on TMZ. Where they said vivid, the company who does did the sex tape require signatures. So either Chris signed off on it, or Kim signed off on it, but there's no way that could have been released without you know, if they would have vivid the company who did the tape would have released it. without their consent, they would have gotten sued and big time. Yeah, well, Kris Jenner and Ken Kim say a different story. They are like, I would not do this or whatever. But this is one of those sex tape stories that actually changes as like time goes on. I think I feel like it wasn't until recently that we found out about some of these signatures because I do remember, I remember seeing Ray Jay on social media going live on on Instagram or something. And he showed the document of the signature with Chris he's, that's Chris's signature right there. I will say though, it is like not on a line. Like it's like at the bottom of the thing. And I'm like, is it like, you know, like, I don't know, I do feel a little like, did they didn't they, you know, but they're a dynasty. They have power. They're Marguerite they're very smart. Like, I love their marketing. Like there was seven Yes, yeah. So for me it's like I like I like the controversy of the sex tape. And I do kind of think deep down inside that they did release it right on purpose. Oh, yeah. I thought they had to, even though I wanted to also believe their tears on the Kardashians or Chris's just like, I would never do this to my daughter
Speaker 1 29:45
in theater, yeah. But I don't know. I think it's I just think it's iconic. And I think that's iconic that it was with Ray J who is equally a big celebrity at the time. So I feel like they both kind of got this benefit from it, of being a lot of money. Yeah, Ray J still I feel like irrelevant, because like, because that's extra. Yeah. And he's good art a good businessman. I mean, you know, he's got business venture. So he's making him you know, he's not hurting financially. Yeah, right. But it was I think it was a smart move if they didn't release it on purpose smart move, especially at the time. Yeah, things are different now than they were like, 1520 years ago. Yeah. No, I think we're more accepting and stuff like that now. Sex Tape. Yeah. Whatever. was another one where they just like, stay. All right. That is a good segue that Kim K sex tape into our next topic for today's podcast, which is the Kardashians? Yes. The dynasty it is a dynasty family of the century. I feel like there are amazing yeah, okay. I feel like you give a really good backstory to like some, like starting with Rob cart. Robert Kardashian, right Sr. and Chris. Tell me about them. Like, how do you even know how they started dating or anything like that? Or no, no, I know, you know that he was a famous lawyer. Oh, yeah. And then what was she anything before being the momager of the century, like was she Oh, she but she was always driven. I mean, she was taking care of the kids and stuff like that'll, you know, tell him that you kind of put her career on the back seat and that, but she was best friends which she also came in to note notoriety because she was best friends with Nicole Brown Simpson who is married to OJ Simpson. And they were best friends. And at the time, OJ was beating up his wife and the cops had gone to their house for domestic violence things, issues on numerous occasions and stuff like that. And there's lots of pictures of Nicole Brown Simpson beat up with like black eyes and stuff like that. So she was friends. So when she ended up getting murdered, it was a big deal because Robert Kardashian was OJ is defense attorney. Right, you know, yeah. And it kind of split up for me not on OJ side right now. You know, some people well, that's that's the funny thing. It was split. I mean, there was a lot of people you know, a lot of people were for, for OJ and a lot of people weren't and even the family. The kids like Chloe and Kim. If you notice in the video, they sit on the dad's side on OJ side. And then the Chris will sit with the Browns with Nick because it was her best friend. Yeah, she'll sit with her family. Yeah, yeah. And then and then Robert, being a lawyer, he that was his I mean, that's how the the family was well off from the beginning because he was such a successful lawyer. Right. And then when did he pass? I don't remember he passed when the when all the kids were like 10 or something. Yeah, he had like, something like throat cancer or something like that. And he passed really quickly. But he the kids had a hard time especially Chloe. Yeah, with I think she's got daddy issues because of that. Yeah. Yeah. Chloe for Chloe. So then the oldest Kim. No, Chloe is no Kim. No. Yes. Courtney is a coral Courtney is older than Kim. No, yes. No. Yes.
Unknown Speaker 33:21
Courtney No, no, yes. Courtney is the oldest Kardashian expert. That is not true. Right shot here folks. I mean, Alyssa valiente wrong. I need like you Shall we take a break for you to
Speaker 1 33:45
regroup. Okay. All right Kardashians. Ages are now she and family. It's Courtney Kim, Khloe and family tree. Courtney's the oldest. She's just she's the tiniest but she's the oldest. Courtney's the oldest I know that's what I had. I thought it was Kim Courtney and then Chloe. No, she's just the littlest, so that's probably what I thought. Yeah, that's probably and she also Kim is just so like bossy woman. They had her Yeah, yeah. I mean, Courtney's like quiet, quieter, more subdued. And Kim's more like you said more kind of bossy and charge more nurturing, I guess. Okay, so regrouping mind blown. Yeah. Courtney? Like he's the oldest. Yeah, okay. Yeah. All right. Well, how do you think the Kardashians got into their fame? What do you think kicked off the dynasty of their Kardashians? Chris for sure. Like just managing everybody? Well, I don't think it was a sex tape. That too. Yeah. But it was it started with like the OJ stuff. The OJ trial was the trial century in the 90s. It was I mean, it was a big deal. I mean, we even stopped at our work and they put t He's in the break room, you know, and I work for the government. And so, you know, everybody was like captivated captive captivated. Yeah. With this story about OJ from the time that he was fleeing in the white Bronco and everything and you know, Bronco Yeah. So, so yeah, that I mean and then the sex tape and stuff like that and and you know, she's beautiful. They're beautiful. They are all of them are beautiful. They're Armenian, right? Yes, yes. But you know what? Kim started like a stylist. She was hanging out with Paris Hilton. Yeah, they're like, bestie Yes. In fact, Paris Hilton in the social ladders was higher than Kim. Yeah. And Kim was kind of just like hanging out friends, you know? And with Lindsey Lowen. Lindsay Lohan. Yeah. So it was like, during that time, yeah. And that, and then Kim was really good at being stylish. She knew what looked good together and stuff like that. And that her love of fashion. She you know, because she had like a T Shirt Company, or stuff like that. And that's why she claims she's like, No, I had my own thing going on. I was entrepreneurial before the sex tape because a lot of people say the sex tape made her but like you're saying they had other things. She was with parachutes with Lindsey. They had already the success of their family like the dad so yeah, they're I mean, she's smart. She's a smart business person. You know, Kim is a billionaire. Yeah. And now she's getting the credit that she deserves and she's doing a lot of like legal work to help people in prison I love that I love that she's like I'm just gonna you know my law degree and help people out and she's posting stuff on Twitter and about cases and getting people solved left and right I'm just like she's I love her yes multifaceted woman I think they love that she has her skims lined you know the skins right i mean it's that line itself is worth I think probably like millions of dollars billion dollars it's a huge line and also talking about skims is like it's kind of like magic. I don't own any skims where but from what I hear it's like shape where that's amazing. Even she's making like man's shape. Well, yeah. And She ushered in a campaign and I think Patrick mahomes and campaigns too, but she's crushing it and she hired her and she was she had a surrogate right for all her kids. No, she had I think one or two. She had a surrogate okay, I wasn't sure she had some kind of medical issues or something like that. So your kids are beautiful. Yes. And then how do you feel about Kim and Kanye? That's not a Kanye fan. Um, look, I know you are I know you are. He just got too many issues. He is and he's been growing on anti semitic rants and he's he's got some mental issues that he needs to take medication for. But apparently he doesn't want to take medication because he thinks it stifles his creativity. Yeah. And but you know, I feel bad kind of bad for Kim in a way because she's got her hands full. You know, but it's hard because he wants to do stuff with North. Yeah, is just like Kanye. Oh, she looks just like he she looks just like him acts like she's obsessed with her dad. That's why I'm saying she's got her hands. Yeah, because it's, you know, yeah. I the reason why I like him is because he's just the Van Gogh of our era. He's just crazy artists Frida Kahlo ran over her husband Diego Rivera, right. That's true. And and you know, people are biting off ears and artists do crazy things you just said with Mick Jagger and everyone's doing crazy stuff. And I think he's just the crazy one. I did lose respect for him when he started doing the anti semitic that stuff. No place for that. But other than that, his artistry I think he's he's great and and I've seen videos to where he's like talking about Kim and I think they really did have like a love. But I think because he was stubborn with his medication or struggling with his artists stuff. I think that that that took over. But I think if he was like, normal, yeah, and still super artistic and stuff, he would have been with Kim long term I think they would have I think they just show your people. Yeah. Oh, for sure. Yeah. Yeah, I saw this. I think it was a video from Kim. She did an interview. And she was going to do a brand deal. She said she had opportunity to do a sponsored post by somebody who was a direct competitor of Yeezy. And they were going to pay her a million dollars to do a sponsored post. And she said she asked Kanye How do you feel about this? Like if I were to do this post, like how would you feel about me doing the direct competitor with easy easy? And he was like I mean, do whatever you want. I don't think you should do it. But it's it's a million dollar car. She's like, Yeah, it's a million dollars. She ended up turning down the sponsored post. And the next day she said or like in a couple maybe that week or something she said she received like an envelope from Kanye and it was a thick contract giving her shares of Yeezy and he basically said, you'll do anything for me. I trust you. Here's shares in my company. It was a very ride or die moment. Not that. I'm not going to do this because this goes against my boo in his company. And then he looked at that, like, oh, wow, I can really trust you and you have my back. Here's some profits of the company, but I just thought it was really cool. Yeah. And it just showed that their love for each other was real. Yeah. And she's going to be hooked with him for ever because of the kids. Yeah, yeah. And then, Courtney and Travis stain on the romance, Courtney, Courtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. Oh, yeah, yeah. I like that. I like it. I like it too, because they started out like friends and he always liked her. But she was with Scott Disick. Who is not good. No, Megan. Scott does it Yeah. And she she did right by not marrying him because he's got a lot of, you know, a lot of problems with alcohol and party animal and stuff like that. And now he's, you know, and then when Courtney started dating Travis, then she started getting edgy. Yeah, rock dressing and lather. Yeah. And I feel like that is actually a natural that makes sense for her because she was always kind of moody and kind of meek and she kind of was like, I don't want anything to do with this dumb family. Like she's very, like anti dynast Kardashian dynasty, in a way kind of like Rob Yes, yeah. Oh, yeah. I mean, yeah. Rob what's I can see that not everybody wants to be under the spotlight. Yeah. Where is Rob? Rob's hanging out with Dream? He's a good dad. Yeah, you know, I mean, he was had some issues with blood with Blac Chyna. And now she's she dropped that and now she's just Angela. A really? Yes. Because that was like a persona. Yeah. And it was too much drama. And now she I think she's found religion. So she wants to like simplify her life and her I saw her on a couple of like, talk shows. And now she seems like at peace at ease, like more down to earth. Not you know. Yeah, not fighting back and forth. It was like that gets old. Yeah, how long can you keep up that drama? Rob's just being a dad. He's got Kardashian money, so I wouldn't work either. That random sock company. Yep. Like, I don't know. I'm sure his dad left him some money or you know, Chris is probably gonna throw a million here. Here's a million for the year. Whatever. Yeah, yeah. And then and then Chloe. Chloe. Chloe needs to find low it needs to find love. Back with Lamar. Yeah, you know, maybe someday maybe someday Yeah, I almost included her on my sex scandal list because of the countless hours that Tristan cheated on her. Oh, good. Got it. And it's so it's sad to me because I think Chloe is beautiful. Yeah, I for the longest time I was like you're the most beautiful one like your your there was one she's tall and know that there was talk for a while of issue really Robert Kardashian because she looks so different from the other kids. It's like, did Chris screw around and have an affair is but you know, I'm sure it would have come out. Yeah, you know? Yeah. Well, I like Chloe. I hope she's She has two kids. She has two kids. Yeah. By him. Yeah. Well, if she does, I hope she does better. Yep. And then and then we have who else on the on the Kardashian dynasty we have Kendall Kendall Yeah. Model no longer with bad bunny hook up. I had hopes for that, that that was going to be a good relationship. But then at the same time, I was like, they're just too hot people too. Yeah, he's traveling the world touring the world in a too much. Wife. What oats too, so or whatever. He's got to. Yeah, he's got to do his thing busy. And then she has How do you feel about her tequila company? She has it to cute company. 818. Tequila, and people hate on her because they're like, this is this white girl making tequila
Speaker 1 43:45
but George Clooney and Randy Gerber can make their casamigos Tequila. So it's like, what's the difference? Right just because she's a woman. Mic drop. Exactly, mom. Yeah, exactly. And then the last last the baby. Also the million billionaire billionaire with the line. Yeah, she's crushing it. Yeah. Whoo. Yep. And I'm happy that she said that she's getting rid of her lip fillers to because they were getting and so she said she's dissolving them but you know if you have a lot of lip fillers, your mouth just stays like that. But she said she's she's working on it where she's too young to have she doesn't need that. And she has one bit one kid to get. She's got to do I don't know one or two. I think two maybe? I don't know. I think she's got two. I think now she had another kid. Stormy is Stormy. Right? Rise and shine. Interviewing walking through the house and she's like we're gonna wake up stormy and Rise and shine now. Yeah. So and then she had another one. And I don't know that. Oh, yeah. That's that's a good question. Yeah, I love them. Yeah. They're a great family. I think they're smart. Artists, marketer marketers ever. Like I've seen episodes of the Kardashians, where Kim is saying that she wants to promote her Yeezy line when back when she was like with Kanye, and they were in like Tokyo and she's like, so I'm just gonna walk outside. And I'm gonna have the paparazzi take a bunch of pictures of me and easy and then boom, there's our marketing and like, you're so smart. Like it's just stuff like that. It's just they're great marketers, I love them and I love their personal brand and I love personal branding in general. So just I can take like dissect each person and be like, this is your question this You're crushing that because I mean, you know, they make moves for for press. Oh, yeah. Like like Kim and Kim and that guy and they were married for like 100 days or something like that. Came in that guy who did she mean? She married the dude that like big dude. Oh, yeah. Freeze Humphries freeze their basketball player. Yeah. And that's what she lost her earring in the ocean. What happened with the ocean what? You don't know if she was like on a trip. And she was on a boat and she died jumped in the water. And she like one of her diamond earrings fell off of her ear, Kim and then she's like, she comes up from out of the water stick my earring. And then she's like, and she starts to cry. She's like, I lost my diamond earring. And everyone was hating on her because they were like, well don't wear it. Sure in the ocean. But also I feel like she's probably lost like $200,000 Well, don't wear out when you go. Yeah, we don't have that round now. Not a problem. Yeah. All right. Well, that's I mean, we have a lot to say about our Kardashians. So we talked about that and got that out. I feel better. I feel better. Now. Let's move on to our next segment. Quickly. Do's and Don'ts of what? Oh, yeah. Being in an elevator? Yes, we can. I mean, this one's kind of easy. I was thinking about the do's and don'ts. I was like, come on. This is like a five by five bucks. Yes. Number one. Don't. Don't you know you do that? Don't Don't is don't fart, right. Yeah, no bodily functions in an elevator and the minute that you're in the elevator? No, try not to cough all over the place. Try not to burp or fart. Yeah. And don't you dare fart in Dash, right? Don't ever SPDs No, don't do any of that. So what about uh, do you have a due for I do elevator etiquette when the door opens your your let people out? Yes. People wait a second. Don't be a selfish. Wait a second. And then let people come out. And then because you said as you have old people, people wheelchairs or whatever that people are, then you go and that's the elevator at the subway in New York to Yeah, and sign up really quick is that we were just in New York and there's an old lady on the subway and she was trying to get out and there's a bunch of people. And she goes, Excuse me, excuse me. And she goes Don't get mad if I push you as she pushes lady push this like someone my age and it was like you pushing me? And she's like she was Excuse me? Let me off first. She's like, don't get mad if I push you and she pushed this girl was like older. Me. So anyway, let people out before you go in. Yeah, I do. For sure. It's called courtesy. Yeah. It's come to light. Yes. I would say Uh, don't on the on the elevator. Okay, I don't also like some of these do's and don'ts are funny. And they're also like, if you did them, it would be kind of sarcastically funny. So like, I was thinking about elf and I was like, Don't press all the serendipity. Yeah, kid gets in there. Oh, yeah. The buttons. Yeah. Right. So if you but at the same time, if you did that, it'd be a little fight. If I was in an elevator with somebody and they pressed all of the buttons. I would laugh Well, you know, what would happen on my team, my, my team, they were there. They're funny and nice and bunch of goofballs and stuff like that. When we go outside to take a picture of anything outside. We'd come back in the building and go up in the elevator and they would start to jump like jump up and down. And they thought it was funny. They thought it was hilarious, you know? But yeah, that's it don't don't judge don't judge down. Controversial do or don't. We can like you know is is Do you or don't you hold the elevator door for somebody?
Unknown Speaker 49:23
I act like I didn't see like I don't write like you get in and like you're kind of like oh,
Speaker 1 49:31
it depends. You know, it depends on what my mood on what you what I'm my perception of you. Come to You stinky. Are you a fighter? Are you going to talk to me right? I haven't had my coffee yet. It's like sometimes like at work you we would have attorneys go to the second floor because the workers comp offices were in there were lots of attorneys on Wednesday, they would do hearings, and they but they're on the phone. They're loud talkers. And I'm like I don't want a loud talker in the elevator. I don't want to hear your tenants. Hear him? I will maybe come close and press the door button. Yeah. Okay. One of my don'ts is don't gawk. If you're a guy or whatever, don't be checking out the girl. Don't be like, Oh, I'm looking at her. Yeah. Never seen it because we're already in a space. Yeah, I don't want to be in this space with you and your gawking. Yeah. So yeah, try not to be asleep. Try not to be a perv for a minute. To wrap up this segment. Have you ever been stuck on an elevator? No. But the firefighters told me that that's the lowest priority. Oh, great. Yeah. They said, you know, unless there's a medical emergency. You know, they said, because I used to be the coordinator for bring your child to work day. So I would do station five over in Hillcrest. And they would come over and they would give like speeches and they would let people look at the truck and stuff like that. But they would tell me that, like 75% of their calls are for MediCal. And the other 25% are like for for like fires and miscellaneous. Stuff like that. But they said that usually. Elevators that's why when there's like a blackout or that don't take the elevator. Don't try not to take him, you know, take the stairs, or if there's a fire or whatever don't get, because if you're stuck in there, you're low priority. Yeah, if you're healthy, and you don't get to you eventually. But you know, yeah, I've been stuck in an elevator one time really? Yeah, it was on my old apartment. Sixth and Broadway. It was like an older building. And yeah, I got stuck in between two floors. It was very scary. I called the call button and it went to the building manager. So it was like just a regular regular person. It wasn't like a cop or anything like that. And she's like, I was like, I'm second elevator. I was like, I was like, I'm pretty calm right now. Cuz I knew like, don't freak out. And it also sidenote, it was during Sydney's birthday, and we were inviting friends over. So I was going down to pick somebody up. And then so yeah, I get stuck, it stops and I'm like, Whoa, what the heck. And then she tells me that I need to press the alarm button. So now the alarm and she's like, you gotta press the alarm button. It starts going off like, like, it's like a bell. And she's like, and then you physically open the doors yourself, like you really door open. That's what you did. That's what I did. And so I'm like, okay, and I'm on the phone with her while the alarm sounding. I was like, sorry. It's really loud. And she's like, she's like, No, no, you're fine. You're fine. She was like, so sweet. She's like, you're fine, sweetie, like, it's okay. And then I push the door open. And when I open the door, I'm literally in between two floors. So I can see halfway through the elevator shaft that there's the wall. And I have to jump down probably like three feet or so to get into the I think I was going into the parking garage or whatever. And I was like, Okay, I got it open. She's like, you're gonna have to just jump down and then you just press the elevator button and it will probably reset itself. And so I jumped down but that two seconds of going in between I know that was scary. Don't write like, go up, right, right when I'm in between decapitate me Yeah. And then I jumped down and then I pressed the button and everything was normal. And then I went back up to the quote, unquote, party. We had, like, couple people over I was like, pardon. I was like, Guys, I just got stuck in an elevator. They're like, Oh, my God, and then every next person that I want you in the elevator, do you think like, two three minutes? Yeah. And then every next person that I came brought up to the party, we'd get in the elevator. I was like, Hey, I'm just stuck in this elevator. Like, back in the elevator. Yeah. Good for you. Did you have elevator issues when you dropped your keys? Deal of inertia? I did drop my keys in LA. Oh, you're in LA? Yeah. It was Christmas Eve. Yeah, yeah. And the maintenance guy wasn't coming back for a month. Nope. Not even close. Wow, that was horrible. Yeah, but you remember that I forgotten. Yeah. You've got elevator issues. I got trust issues. Yeah, an elevator? Yes. Okay, let's wrap up this podcast with our segment. Check it out. Check this out. Okay, so you know how we have an orange tree and we've got a tangerine tree. But dad says, you know, there's, they're coming to an end that we've gone through all the stuff like that. So I'm thinking I should do so kind of recipes with orange stuff. You know, so I was looking at orange stuff. And apparently there's people who make sculptures with oranges. sculptures. Oh, whoa. So then it is a picture of a cat. Oh, it's, it's a picture of a cat. Made out of oranges. Okay, so then I start going down this rabbit hole. And there's people who actually make like helmets and they have helmets on cast. So there's like a helmet picture of a cat with like an orange on it. Yeah, and then there's one and it looks like Grumpy Cat you know, cats funny and then there's one with like, a lime and there's one with like a pineapple and stuff like that. And I started going down that rabbit hole and then I started thinking how did they get I've we've because we've had cats. How do they get the cats two legs? No idea. I'm thinking they must give them CBD. So then I go use their CBD for cats. And there's meow you want Oh wow this is a double check it out so there's there's like cat it's like cat cat net that's supposed to make your cat mellow but I thought catnip was a stimulant but anyway who knows? But check it out in the internet you'll find you can go down that rabbit hole of finding all this crazy stuff on the internet so that was my crazy stuff on the internet wow okay my check it out for you is a two questions before Do you know what only fans is? Yes. Do you know who John Cena is? Yes. Did you know that John Cena? No, he was not but he did make an only fans account but but the only fans account is under the name Ricky Ste and Nikki and so he made it only fans on this name Ricky's to Nikki and the bio says you found the verified only fans account for Ricky Stuckey renowned impersonator, philanthropist, investor banker, socialite cancer survivor and method actor subscribe to get spicy pics and vids. Okay, so you might be thinking Who the heck is Ricky Stuckey? Okay, well, this only fans is a promo for a video or a movie that he has coming out March 4 or whatever. I watched the trailer for it. The movies called Ricky's to Nikki. And it's about these guys these Zac Efron's in it and these guys basically use this name Ricky's to Nikki whenever they're trying to get out of something or go do something so there'll be like my friend, Ricky sneaky. Oh my god, he has his bachelor, bachelor party, we have to go to Atlantic City to go you know, we're doing this and they tell their wives and they're like, Okay, Ricky's to Nikki does not exist. So it's these guys that are makeup this fake guy and then produce it and that that bites him in the ass because now their wives are like we looked for, you know, I think one that one point they say that he has cancer and they need to go be with him. It's fake guy. And then they watch like we looked up Ricky stenick. In the hospital, there's no one there. So then what do they do? They hire an impersonator. A like to act like rookies to act like Ricky segura. And that's John Cena. Like this impersonator kind of rough around the edges always drinkin dude that they have to pretend that they've been friends for years. And that's the premise of the movie, but I just thought it was a great little. Did you know John Cena has only fans but it's for to promote his movie. Ricky Siddiqui. Very good. I did not know that. Did you know John Cena is fluent in Chinese? No, I did not. Yeah. And you know how I know that because he was doing promo for a movie, one of his last movies. Uh huh. He was and he referred to Taiwan as a country. And China didn't like that. And they get all bent out of shape. Now China is a big distributor of movies. So they make lots of money in Asia and stuff like that. So he had to backpedal and say, Well, you know what, I love China, and I love Taiwan and kind of backpedal. It's so silly that China didn't like that. They referenced Taiwan as a country. They wanted to be part of China. So he gave this whole apology in Chinese. And it was him. And he's like fluent. That's crazy. Yeah, so the mascot skills. Well, I love John Cena. I love the Kardashians. I feel like this was a really good episode of our sex gay love me. Oh, yeah. I love you. I was waiting for that. I love this. I love this. I love it. And I love my mommy and my. But that wraps our second episode of me my mom in the internet. Did you have fun? Yeah, of course. Okay, great. was a good one. And I'll see you guys on the next one. Okay, cool.
