Most of the ads on social media for ‘building passive income’ are actually very much NOT passive at all. In fact, in the rare occasion where your income is truly passive, you probably had to work for it leading up to it.
If you think renting is just throwing money away, think again. While homeowners deal with surprise expenses, market crashes, and “passive” income that’s anything but passive, renters enjoy flexibility and zero repair bills. So who’s really winning there?
