In this episode, Antje Derks talks to Sarah Templeton - a recognised and passionate specialist in neurodiversity and a vocal advocate for mandatory ADHD screening in the criminal justice system and schools.
Sarah runs the charity ADHD LIBERTY - the first of its kind in the world to initiate screening for ADHD in police stations.
Sarah also runs the biggest team of ADHD-diagnosed counsellors in the UK - HEADSTUFF ADHD THERAPY.
She has also authored three best-selling books on parenting and teaching ADHD children

Sarah is a frequent Keynote Speaker, Expert Court Witness and media expert on neurodiversity issues - specifically ADHD and all the comorbidities ie dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia and the physical coexisting conditions.
Sarah works closely with the numerous police forces, prisons, probations, youth offending services, homeless and addiction services where ADHD is at its most prevalent. A simple screener can transform somebody’s life and it doesn’t cost anything.
Sarah has seen first-hand how screening for ADHD reduces reoffending, reduces suicides in prison, reduces self-harm in prison and is transformational for children finding out why they struggle in school.
