The Kindness Rebellion
The Kindness Rebellion is a kid's podcast that brings history to life through the power of empathy.
Using the KIND Method, we explore the stories of historical figures and pivotal events to better understand not just what happened, but why it mattered. By looking beyond dates and facts, we uncover the human experiences, struggles, motivations, and choices that shaped our world.
Each episode invites you to see history differently. Because when we truly know someone’s story, their fears, hopes, failures, and courage, we begin to see with our hearts.
From revolutionaries to reformers, from moments of conflict to movements of compassion, The Kindness Rebellion asks:
- What can we learn from the past?
- How can empathy reshape the way we understand history?
- And how can kindness change the future?
History isn’t just about events. It’s about people.
And knowing someone’s story might just help us build a better world.
Join the rebellion.

9. Sharing Kindness One Cup at a Time with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Have you heard Alex's story and her mission of kindness? At just 4 years old she knew she wanted to help her doctors find a cure for cancer so that other kids didn't have to go through the battle. She started with a single lemonade stand. Others joined in and ultimately earned 1 million dollars together. Since then her mom and dad started a foundation in her honor and have raised millions more for childhood cancer research.
You can help! By hosting your own lemonade stand and donating the profits to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, you can help scientists around the world find a cure for cancer.
Even better, join the Team Kind Humans membership and participate in the Alex's Lemonade KindSchooling Quest! We will hear from cancer research scientist, Dr. Aria Vaishnavi and learn how she works everyday to find a cure. Perform science experiments along side her, hear from other cancer heroes, and write thank you notes for ALSF to send to their donors. This quest is jam-packed with all the kindness goodness you could want. Simple, just press play videos are waiting for you!
