Long-time Bronx TV personality and radio DJ Gary Axelbank interviews Bronx musicians from a variety of musical genres, emphasizing not only the extraordinary range of musical talent in the Bronx, but also the remarkable diversity of its people.
This uniqe podcast is a treat for attendees to the Artist (desginatied as the Best Concert Venue in the Bronx) because in addition to enjoying the talk and music of the performers, The Artist serves coffee / tea and pastries from Jenny’s Sweets, run by Jennifer Glick, a pastry chef graduate from the Culinary Institute of America who is the daughter of co-owners Monica and Elliot Glick. This turns the program into a one-of-a-kind “brunch-like” happening.

RALE and ALMA MICIC are a married duet of talented musicians. Rale is one of the most successful and critically acclaimed jazz musicians to emerge from Serbia. Alma is a featured vocalist with the Radio Belgrade Big Band and appeared at many local jazz festivals as well as on television and radio broadcasts. In addition to talking with host Gary Axelbank, they performed two exquisite music pieces.
