Kickoff And What’s New At Havoc

It's five o'clock and 9 o'clock with B Scott. Today with me I got Michael Shockley, Jake Wright, and Tim Scott. And we're gonna talk about all the new stuff we got going on here in Havoc. So all we're gonna start with is the Optifade Timber you see on our boats. Big hit. I killed a deer, had the deer in the boat, man. It's awesome pattern, one of my favorites. We're gonna talk about the new duck hauls we're gonna release. Talk about the life jackets we have to sell. We got new hats, shirts, hoodies coming out, guys on the gear shop. We're gonna talk about some of the new stuff we got going on around here. Tons of new things, exciting things, especially right here before duck season. So, man, let's talk about the biggest thing we got going on that's new is the OptiFade paint. What y'all think about that?

Man, the uh the process that that's what gets me. It's the process, the behind the scenes trial and error that we put in on these things to get them to turn out uh like they have, and man, they are just it's the best Optifade paint job out there. No, no if, ands, or buts. Hands down. It looks really good. We've gotten great feedback from all our dealers, everybody that's seen one in person.

Uh it really pleased with how that's I think it's people it's something people wanted, have been wanting for a long time. No doubt. How many times y'all think we've walked to the paint booth to look at different paint jobs and tell, nope, redo it. Yeah.

I mean, we tried and tried and tried, and you know, we spent our time doing it to do it right, you know. Well, what people don't realize, like you put uh you paint something small, paint something big, it all looks different. Big different. So you gotta adjust the colors.

I mean, so many, so many variables that went into it, the the correct paint, the correct scale of the of the um stencil, uh, the the patterning, you know, that wasn't perfect right uh from the from the instructions we got. We had to do a lot of trial and error on uh the layering of everything. It was just a lot that went into it to get that. Once we figured out the stencils, we had to figure out colors then. Exactly.

Matching Boats To Timber And Marsh

Yeah, it was a process that took us a while to really get our heads wrapped around it. Wasn't too sure if it was going to happen. Yeah, there's times where we I mean, we ran into the paint store multiple times. Yeah, yeah. Changing colors, changing colors, something wasn't mixing colors, yeah. Mixing colors, yeah. It was a it was a big process. It was, and but I think it turns out great, and what's gonna give you know the customers an ability to do now is everybody hates, you know, if they're wearing sick of gear, they're wearing, you know, the timber. You don't want to jump into a boat that don't match. No you know, no, so you're seeing a wave of people that I think are buying solid color boats because they can't get that. Yes, but now it's something that you guys can actually go and get absolutely from the factory.

And we got the marsh coming out as well. So you need to absolutely yeah, and it we're really close on that. We're excited to get some of those out to our uh to our uh northern dealers and you know those southern Louisiana spots that that it applies to as well. Uh but yeah, that's coming too. So no, it's got a lot of good stuff happening.

Uh there's gonna be some something possibly attached uh to this. A specific number that that gets your your name and the hat for uh something special. But um just stay tuned to to that to get all the details on that. It's good stuff. It's gonna be exciting, though. I'm I'm excited to see you. Man, they I was really impressed with how these no, they look good, man. Like they're clean. And uh just this is uh I can't remember the exact, but it's like a kind of like an off-white. I would I would consider it a creamy white.

All right, so after, all right, so after that's released, and like like Jake said, you'll have more information on that later on. It's coming up. And well, let's talk about the bag o board. You know, I've used that life jacket quite a bit now. I have too. Every time I've been in a boat, I've been what I love about that life jacket is when you adjust it to you, it's there. Yeah, it is. And because of the way the back is designed, and it's not just you know, straps, little string straps, you pull that thing out, it's not twisted up. It's always easy to put on. You don't put your arm in and it'd be in the wrong hole or nothing. Like it's you mean it's not like putting a saddle on? No, it's super simple to put on. Like you you can't mess it up. And literally, every time you pull it out, it's never twisted. No, you know how you have them all twisted and you gotta like twist them back, and then you can't put it twisted.
