As I listened back to this episode, I couldn’t help but to hear Billy Joel faintly screaming, “We didn’t start the fire. It was always burnin’ since the world’s been turnin’. We didn’t start the fire. No we didn’t light it but we’ve tried to fight it.” So where did all this drama start? Is the world getting “worse and worse”, or has a certain craziness been baked into all of history? Whether you agree with the Bible or not, it seems to give us some pretty profound insights into why our world feels the way it does in a lot of ways.
