You deserve to have the life that you desire. Your passions are a part of you for a reason, and when you don't follow your passions or listen to your call, things can get rough. You don't have to take some massive, intimidating leap. One small step each day leads to lasting change. So let's get started by accepting our passions are here in the first place, because this is life activated. I'm your host and guide, Mari, here to help you recenter life on your passions and purpose, so you can feel good inside because you deserve it.

All right, in this episode, I want to share with you a message that has come through and I'm going to own it. I'm going to say that it was a channeled message and, quite honestly, I have issues with saying that and owning it sometimes, because I know, first of all, this is a past life thing that I'm dealing with and that I see so often people being very sort of flip about what it means to channel a message. It is a responsibility that any of us have when we are given that gift to receive any the message, whatever it is for us, the download. However, you want to say it and share it, and this isn't just about me or other healers. This is about anyone, because truly we can all channel, we can all tap into that higher wisdom and knowledge and knowing, and it is still a responsibility to not take it lightly. So I'm going to get off my horse about channeling and my drama around channeling and I'm going to go ahead and share this message with you.
Mari Roberts:

The topic is hunger, desire, your calling. So, without further ado, here we go. What are you hungry for in your life? Are you fueling yourself with that which brings you joy oh, by the way, I am reading this because it's something that I want to make sure I don't miss the pieces, so I also know a lot of times when it's channeled by the way things sound, so you may hear that yourself. Are you fueling yourself with that which brings you joy, that which brings excitement or passion or, better, better yet, fuels your passion, or are you tamping out your hunger? Are you starving? It's kind of interesting when you think about starving, right?
Mari Roberts:
2:57
Sometimes, when you're starving, there's this craving for something that you want so badly that, instead of going for it or having it, you shove down that desire and you keep it, so that it's so far out of your own reach that it even hurts to think about it. So just think about me, for example, my love of ice cream. Sometimes, if I just don't get the ice cream and enjoy it and be present with it and answer the call for the ice cream, then I don't allow myself to have it. And the minute that I can have it then I overindulge. This is going to sound funny when I say it, but you'll understand it if you know me, I like over, luxuriate in the flavors of ice cream. And then we again miss the point because now we've overdone it and now we get sick to our stomachs Instead of the moment you had that urge, that hunger, that desire, acknowledging it and then choosing to do something about it.
Mari Roberts:
4:05
So back to the message you can try to suppress your hunger, that passion that you have for your life, that desire, but it will only make you sick, feeling bitter, frustrated, angry, disappointed. And what if you had the courage to take one step, allowing the momentum to build, following that hunger, that desire, that passion, so that you could actually thrive? And it doesn't say actually I added actually, it says so that you can have said in your head is not possible and it's truly because you allowed yourself to follow that hunger Kind of like, follow that hunger, kind of like. You know when you really desire and have hunger for something let's use following your passion for creating art and then you put it aside because everything and everyone else is more important. You put it aside because you are making way for work, you're making way for your friends, you're making way for your partner, you're making way for your kid, and you keep shoving that passion down further away from you.
Mari Roberts:
5:53
By the time that you go for it, or think it may be time for you to go for it, then you're like, oh my God, I can't do this. I don't know how to do this. I feel guilt. I feel guilty that I am making time for me. I feel imposter syndrome, like, oh my God, this can't be for me. It's not me, I can't do this. Who am I to do this? Oh my God, I'm not an artist. Well, you are. You just put it so far down that you couldn't and you can't access it. Hopefully this is making sense.
Mari Roberts:
6:26
I'm trying to paint some pictures for you based on the message that came through. The thing is, from this message right, is that what we can feel, what we can experience in all areas of our life. Because we follow, because you follow, that hunger is so much bigger. Your life will be so much more full and complete. And, going back to this right Like, you will be satisfied, you will feel successful, you will feel at peace and you will feel a sense of like. When I say delight, I don't know. You know that feeling when you feel delighted and it's like, oh my gosh, like you get to have that feeling, you have to be willing to listen to and follow your hunger.
Mari Roberts:
7:20
So the invitation from this message that I see is to get curious and ask yourself were you not listening?
Mari Roberts:
7:30
Were you not following that hunger, that passion that burns deep within you? Maybe it requires you to ask questions about the younger versions of you that still exist within you and asking your younger self what did I used to like to do? Another invitation is ask a friend, ask friends how do they see you? What is that secret, that sauce that they see within you? Because sometimes we can't see it because we've tapped it out.
Mari Roberts:
8:03
So, tapped it out, tapped it down, what is it? We've put it out, thinking like a flame. You know, you tap out a flame, you've made it like those little pieces of coal that needs to be reignited into this beautiful flame. Anyway, I invite you to get curious and when you tap into that area of your life that you have been not allowing to emerge, I invite you to take a step.
Mari Roberts:
8:38
I'm not saying to go run a mile or marathon or win a race, just to one acknowledge it. Two, take a step, one step to commit to yourself that you're going to listen to your hunger, that you're gonna follow that hunger, you're gonna allow that passion and desire to begin to emerge in your life. All right, that's the message, that's what's come through. I want to know what you think about it. If today's episode resonated with you, share your thoughts and feelings in any review section. So let me know where you're at on your journey, sending you big love to bring those passions to life because, remember, you deserve it.
