Could you tell us a little bit about this business that you have going? Yes, I'd be more than happy to. Thank you for having me, Anastasia. It's a great pleasure. Oh, I'm so happy you're here and I can't wait to have you tell us all about what you've got to offer. Yeah. I'm the founder and president of the Boomers Forever Young Nutrition Company, and we've been in business 14 years now. We're in, St. Petersburg, Florida, and we specialize in, new inventions and high end types of nutrition products that are designed to help people in such a way that they don't need to take pharmaceutical medications. That's awesome. Yeah. So how old are you now? 69. 69? Yeah. I'm a little older. I'm 72. Mm-hmm. Yeah. We're still, around Boomers Forever Young, we say that middle age begins at 85. Yes. I talked with your 90-year-old gentleman at your company, and he was just the most energetic, fun guy. And he said how long he'd been taking, your supplements, and it just kept him going. So he didn't ever wanna quit. Yeah. Yeah. He's writing a book now on nutrition. That's awesome. Yep. Yeah. Yeah. Well, at one point he and his friend, who was the same age, they started working for us when they were like 82. And I warned them when they got to be 84. I said, listen around here, middle age begins at 85, and I'm gonna expect you guys to start acting maturely when you turn 85. So there was no such luck. They never did it. Yes. No, I don't imagine. So the people that come to you tend to have some sort of health problems. And I know from my own contemporaries, well, a lot of them are no longer alive, but a lot of my contemporaries don't look and feel very good and they're on, I don't know, 13 to 15 different medications is very typical. In this day and age, if people just kind of drift along with societal norms, you're not going to make it to live to be 80 years old and the average person spends about the last nine and a half years of their life in some form of disability or illness. So what we try to do is help people expand not only their lifespan, but their health span. So someone, like Jim, who you spoke to, even though he is 90 years old, he hasn't lost any of his health, he's still healthy and energetic. And there's very specific ways that you can do that. Human beings are, are oxidizing themselves from aerobic life, and we're kind of like a log that burns in a fire and a log is going to produce smoke and ash and eventually disappear. And humans are the same way. but some logs will burn up really fast. you have a very dried out poplar log. It'll burn up in no time, but if you have a a hickory log it, it's going to burn for 10 times as long before it disappears. And with humans, we can now do the same thing. And there's actually a blood test that measures how fast you're burning yourself up. And it's called C-reactive protein. And it's a enzyme produced in your liver that is indicative of your level of inflammation and your rate of burn. And so what we try to do is help people get their CRP down below 0.5 on the scale. The average person is a three or almost 10 times higher, and people with diabetes tend to be at a five or a six. They're burning themselves up way faster. And so we help people with the right nutrition supplements to reduce their rate of burn by about 10 times. So essentially they're no longer aging from oxidative stress, which is about 50% of the reason why people are aging. So what we do is we take that off the table so you're not aging from inflammation anymore. Now there's other reasons why, people age on other, biological reasons. what happens with your DNA that gets damaged over time. The wrapping around your DNA becomes very tight and your genetic expression drops off. And then also you have a whole psychological component, which is somewhat spiritual too, that we call the collective nocebo of aging. And this is where, when a young child who might be five years old begins to perceive the concept of impermanence. So they're like, okay, I'm five, my brother's 10, my other brother's 20, my parents are 40, grandma is 65, and great-grandma just died. So that's what I'm supposed to do. So your other than conscious mind, your endocrine glands buy into this observation, this nocebo. And, that's a big reason why people age. So there's a technique we could talk about someday about how to opt out of that nocebo so you can consciously instruct your unconscious, your other than conscious that it's no longer required to participate in that observation and degradation. Yeah. I love that.'cause in my own mind, I'm not aging. Yeah, yeah. In my own mind. Well, that's a big part of it, attitude and just knowing that the way your unconscious mind works and how it affects your biology. the other big thing, of course, is stress. we always say people, you can take the best nutrition products in the world, but if you're under stress, you're probably still gonna be sick. we do whatever we can to help people have the skill and the knowledge to be able to stay in a state of parasympathetic much more often than they normally would. Yeah. Even just sitting down and taking a deep breath just Yep. And straightening up the spine to get into a relaxed state. It lowers your cortisol very quickly. Yeah. Yeah. Very important to do. Especially in the morning.'cause people will wake up feeling stressed. Mm-hmm. they may have had issues in their dreams and then when they wake up, they have a hundred things to do and they have to remember the sequence and call this person, do that, and right away their cortisol rises faster than it should. You want your cortisol to go up a little in the morning, but. Not to the point where you're in constant sympathetic. it's important and it's also important people think, well, if I stand up too fast and I feel lightheaded, that means I must have low blood pressure. I go, no, it's your adrenal glands that are insufficient. Yeah. And they're surprised by that. That just means that they're in burnout mode and need help. Yeah. Yeah. It starts just by the general belief that people have that things are not okay. And they say that the average American is of the belief that things are not okay about 95% of the time. Wow. And when you have that belief. your amygdala is registering that and communicating to your frontal cortex, which is communicating to your heart muscle. And then the, your heart rate variability diminishes and that sends a neuronal signal to your amygdala. And now you have a vicious cycle where you're trapped in this state. And, there are numerous techniques that will help you create a pattern interrupt for that. And then also the whole practice of focusing on gratitude is the opposite of things are not okay. So, yep. If you're in gratitude, things seem to be okay at that moment. Yeah. When I was going through a really stressful time and I was in this panic mode, this was. 30, 40 years ago, I was in this panic mode that I got into the habit. Every time I started to go, I say, am I okay right now? Do I have a roof over my head? Do I have clothes to wear? Are my kids okay? Are we healthy? and do we have enough to eat? And as soon as I answer all those, oh, I'm okay. Yeah. I call that a gratitude stack. and they say the longer you linger in gratitude, the more you can draw your new life to you. Mm-hmm. And it creates a receptive state for your life path, for the goals you are working on. And it's hard to, attract what you need when you're of the belief that things are not okay.'cause you'll attract things that aren't okay. Yeah. It's like a magnet. Yeah. I always. Give the tuning fork example. You're a tuning fork, sending out a sound in the world, and you're going to attract another tuning fork that's tuned to whatever you're sending out, and you'll get that back and it just keeps coming back to you. Yep. The good news is it's easy to change. Yeah. It's very easy to change. Yeah. So let's talk about what you've got to offer in terms of your products. Let's talk about your, the newest one coming out. Yeah. there, we have two products actually Anastasia. One that's coming out in about a month that was created with a special, patented process. And we have one that's already been out for about a year that was made with that same process. Mm-hmm. there's a scientist, in California. His name's Eric Kurhts is company is called Solva Labs. And he's the, scientist that is the farthest along in creating products that are considered, epigenetic re programmers. Eric is the type of scientist that can do discovery based research. And take that research. And then in his laboratory, he can actually create something that will accomplish what is being shown in the research is needed and then actually bring it to the marketplace. Myotrol. Is that not right? Yes, yes. This is Yes. So Eric created Myotrol first. he spent the time to create it because he himself was losing muscle as he aged. And there's a lot you can do, as you age to keep your muscle. You can exercise, you can have the right diet, you can have the right sleep, et cetera, et cetera. There's, it's a. Very big, complex topic. But, your genetic expression has to also cooperate. So when you're young, the genes for producing energy and for, encoding, the synthesis of, proteins that make muscle, they were readily available when you were young. And as you age, again, they become bound up and sequestered inside that protein sheath. And so people will lose muscle as they age. And essentially you can track how fast someone's aging, by how fast they're losing muscle. When you get to a point where you've lost a certain amount of muscle, you're, going to die of old age. And so if you listen to some of the best biohackers, in the world, they'll tell you that being able to build muscle at any age is the holy grail of anti-aging. It's the most important thing. now what we have is another, iOS, epigenetic reprogrammer that stimulates the genes for building muscle, stimulates the genes for producing energy, and it stimulates the two different genes for your brain, one for irisin and one for BDNF, the brain derived nootropic factor. That clearly wasn't it? Yeah. But having, revived your genetic expression. Hallelujah. Right? Yeah, exactly. And the ability to think, to focus and, and to come back with quick answers. People ask me a question and then the answer would be there, you know, available. I also don't lose vocabulary. And yeah. and BDNF is also a molecule of motivation, so a lot of people that need to exercise more or focus on specific things. will be sitting on their couch and they're thinking, wow, I really should get up and put my sneakers on and go for a walk. But they never seem to move. And so we have noticed now that with people that are taking Myotrol, they have plenty of BDNF, which is a molecule of motivation. So to go from a thought about I should do this to actually moving requires BDNF, which you make less of as you age, but now with Myotrol right away, all of a sudden it's like, okay, we're going to the gym. It was because basketball was fun and competitive and all my friends were there. And, but I didn't, it wasn't like I jumped out of the car and ran to the court like when we're children. It's never, there's never been anything like this before that wasn't some type of an illegal substance that wasn't really good for you. There's no side effects to Myotrol. Yeah. Well, there's a big advantage to being healthy when you're older. Right. And I, I'll tell you, they have these charts, I don't know if you've seen them, Anastasia, where they have 90 years of weeks on a big wall chart. So they have a box for every week of your life. And when you get it, you put it up on the wall and you go, okay, I'm 69 years old, there's my first mark. And every week you mark off another one and you can see how you're getting closer to 90. It's supposed to give you incentives to do something, right. So I bought three of 'em. I put them side by side and I was like, okay, that first chart, that'll be 90, that'll be a third of my life.
