Your next breakthrough starts now. welcome Bob. I'm so happy you're here. Could you tell us a little bit about this business that you have going? Yes, I'd be more than happy to. Thank you for having me, Anastasia. It's a great pleasure. Oh, I'm so happy you're here and I can't wait to have you tell us all about what you've got to offer. Yeah. I'm the founder and president of the Boomers Forever Young Nutrition Company, and we've been in business 14 years now. We're in, St. Petersburg, Florida, and we specialize in, new inventions and high end types of nutrition products that are designed to help people in such a way that they don't need to take pharmaceutical medications. we started with two products, which we'll talk about in a little bit. And, um. 14 years later, we've helped over 10,000 people now and we have 23 different products. And it's, uh, it's something that's very satisfying, uh, to see. And, um, we still continue to get testimonials every single week from people, especially with some of our newer products. Yeah. So let's talk about what you've got to offer in terms of your products. Yep. Absolutely. So, gladiator barley was created by another scientist, a brilliant scientist in Canada, up in Alberta. He's a soil scientist who has a particular expertise in sprouting seeds, including ancient seeds that, most people would think are impossible to sprout. And I would say about 15 years ago, he had an heirloom seed that was a barley seed that he was able to sprout. And he, had an idea that he was going to, create a product that was sprouts. But he also knew that sprouts can be all over the place, right? So if you bring a million seeds into a processing plant and you set about to sprout them, some will sprout right now, some 20 minutes later, some tomorrow. And he also knew that as a sprout moved along, its path, the profile
of the nutrition changed:the enzymes, the SOD, et cetera. And so he created a technology that would make seeds sprout all at the same time. And this way they would sprout within about two minutes of each other. And he knew the profile of nutrition was the same for every sprout. And then he created another technology that would stop the sprouts from sprouting right in their tracks at the exact spot, he wanted to stop them without actually killing the sprout. So he was able to check the nutritional values all across the sprouting process and pick the point where it's most beneficial for humans. He also did it for horses and he did it for chickens, and it turns out you needed a different enzyme profile for those. And so he would stop the sprouts at a different point. But for humans, he would stop the sprouts and then immediately stabilize the nutrients. And he had another technology that's a trade secret, that essentially creates an electron of coating over the sprouts so that the invaluable nutrients won't deteriorate, in, in the example of SOD, which is the most valuable of them, it has a half life of only 10 minutes. Essentially, two hours later you wouldn't even really be able to find any SOD, it would be gone. But now he was able to extend that halflife out to about four years. So now you actually have a product that has stabilized superoxide dismutase, which is the most powerful antioxidant that human body's make, but you make less as you age. So he knew all this and he stops the sprouts, and then he lets 'em dry out. Then he grinds them up in an old fashioned stone grinding wheel very carefully, so not to burn them and makes a fine powder that he puts into jars and sends to us. And people are now able to take sprouted barley seeds, in a glass of water, mix it up in water and drink it. So he did that for a few years. People really loved it. It helped them detoxify their body. It helped them to restore their villi so they could absorb nutrients again and many other things. But one thing he realized was that when he gave it to people that were going through chemotherapy for cancer, that they were still losing weight. So about 60% of the time when someone dies from cancer, they actually are dying from muscle wasting. And he decided that he was gonna research out and find other seeds that might have a higher profile of amino acids and metabolic enzymes. And lo and behold, a very ancient seed from over a thousand years ago was able to be sprouted. And it turned out that it had more than double the amount of what he called predigested protein, which is essentially amino acids. So when it, when you have a seed, there's a lot of protein in the seed. But during the sprouting process, the digestive enzymes that are made from the DNA of the seed, digest that protein down into amino acids because they're going to begin to make a blade of grass, which is a different type of protein. And so he gathered these ancient seeds and it took many years because when you start from scratch, you have to try to get a bushel of seeds that you can then plant, which will generate a hundred bushels of seeds. And in order to have a commercially viable product, it takes many, many years of reinvestment to do that. And all the while he was making his soil the most pristine and fertile soil that he knew how to create, and is convinced he has the most fertile soil in the world. And he tends to, the colony of worms in the soil, the bacterial colonies in the soil, of course, all the minerals as well. And when the barley grows in northern Canada, which it's not supposed to grow there at all, it grows twice as high as regular barley. And it's a bully plant. It doesn't require any pesticides. because it's such a strong plant, the pests can't infiltrate it. and it doesn't require other fertilizers. The only other thing he does to help it grow is he has a special, probiotic powder that he makes, which we'll talk about some other time. He makes it wettable and they spray it onto the barley grass. The bacteria clings to the grass and fixates nitrogen from the air. And so now he has these barley plants, which are drawing huge amounts of nitrogen so he doesn't have to use nitrogen fertilizer in the soil. Mm-hmm. There's plenty of nitrogen in the air, and if you coat the plants with the right bacteria, they'll take nitrogen out of the air. And so this is how he grows it and produces it. He sends it to us, and we distribute it to people around the world. Lots and lots of people that have gone through chemotherapy have used it and were actually able to gain muscle, going through chemo. The gladiator barley is a very fast way to stabilize your muscle loss and to reverse it and to begin gaining muscle again. When you make muscle, you have to have amino acids, and you have to have metabolic enzymes. They act as the glue, so to speak, to make the protein. And there's over 4,000 different metabolic enzymes in the gladiator barley, which was the second seed that he made barley out of. So we have two kinds of barley, the gladiator, which is very ancient, and the heirloom, which is a seed from hundreds of years ago. But, we call that our heirloom barley. And so when people take it, they detoxify quite a bit. You have to start very slow. It comes with a little scoop and instructions and phone support, and you follow along. You take just a half a teaspoon the first week, then a teaspoon over the course of a month. You ease into the full scoop, which is a larger scoop that comes later. You have to do this because you don't wanna detox by too fast. No, absolutely. You'll cause a healing crisis, basically. Yeah. And it's really bad for your liver and your kidneys. Yeah. And you just won't feel well at all. No, it also detoxifies mold outta your body and quite often it'll come out through your skin and you don't want that to go too fast. You want it to take about six or eight weeks to get the mold out. And you have to be careful because if it's black mold, like was the case for both me and Larry, it'll ruin your white clothing and you won't be able to get that mold out in the laundry. And so you'll come out through your arms and your back and your forehead. But this is a good thing. You just wanna do it gradually. It'll smell a little musty, so you might have to take an extra shower a day to wash off the mold that's coming out through your skin. But boy, I'll tell you, once you've detoxified your pesticides, the tire dust, mold and other things, you basically are giving yourself a clean slate. We're born with over 200 different toxic chemicals in our blood, and as we age we add another couple hundred toxic chemicals. And it is a really liberating thing to be able to get that out and have a fresh start where you're actually less toxic than when you were born. And that's pretty amazing. Yeah. Yeah. We tend not to get any products where people can't notice a definitive change in their health. It's not worth it to do. Yep. It does. I forgot a couple things, Anastasia, about the barley,'cause we see this all the time. It really helps people with issues with their intestines and also with, with kidney issues. So if someone has starting to get a low GFR, the flow rate, through their kidneys of blood, that is gonna lead to eventually needing dialysis. And a lot of it's related to toxicity. And what we do for people that have that going is we have them start with a pinch of the barley because you don't wanna overtax a declining kidney. Right? Yeah. So we have a slow start calendar that's on our website and we can also put in the mail to you. And, it gives you a whole month of how to ease in starting with a pinch the first week, a dash, the second week, two dashes the third week. And you can very slowly increase without hurting your kidneys. But boy, I'll tell you what, we've had people that their GFR came back up and up and up and up, and they took them off the dialysis list. When you detox your kidneys, a lot of good things can happen. And that's one of the, between that and help with digestive issues, it acts kind of like an adaptogen. If you have constipation, it'll help with that. And if you have diarrhea, it will also help with that and it's going to cleanse out your small intestine really well. So your villi will regrow those little villi. Yeah. And it helps with leaky gut, I take it too. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Absolutely. Yeah, because leaky gut is huge. Yeah. Yeah. And there's a compound, in the barley that is called glutenase. So when you sprout a seed, one of the proteins that's there that needs to get digested is gluten. And so the seed makes a digestive compound for that gluten called glutenase and it digests that gluten. So that's why with the barley, people say, oh, barley's got a lot of gluten. My doctor told me not to eat barley. Not sprouted seeds. They don't. Yeah. It's a animal completely. Just for people to know anything, anything that's growing like the barley grass is not the same as the barley seed. Completely different animal. Yeah, totally. And so a lot of times when people have gluten sensitivities, when they use our barley because of the glutenase, their sensitivity goes away. And so it's the opposite of what they might think. When it cleanses your small intestine, it's cleansing out plaque. So you have mucus that naturally occurs in your small intestine when you're young. And as you age, it tends to get like plaque and it'll smother over the little hairs that absorb your nutrients. And now you have a very hard time with your nutrition. The barley dissolves that plaque, moves it outta your body, and the little hairs regrow. And now you can absorb nutrients again like you were much younger. That's a huge part of staying healthy. If your villi, are smothered, almost doesn't matter what you take in if you can't absorb it. You're still not gonna be well nourished. Yeah. You stay hungry and you have cravings all the time. Yeah. Like you don't even know why, like I already just ate, why am I still hungry? And you just keep eating and so you end up gaining weight 'cause you're taking calories in, but not getting the nutrition you need. Right. When you're malnourished, you're always hungry. And that's what we tell people. If they use our barley and some of our other products, they're going to become more well-nourished than they ever were in their life and less toxic. And so you tend to eat a lot less food. And a lot of people who use our products actually save money from using our products, because they eat so much less food that they save that on their grocery bill and it more than pays for their product and they're way healthier. It's almost like a loop. Like the more junk foods you eat, the, the more cravings you have. Yeah. And the more sugar you eat, the more cravings you have. And this gets rid of all of that. Yeah. Well you're feeding with all that sugar. You're feeding parasites too. Yes. That hijack your hunger hormones. They're like more sugar. yeah. We need more colony forming units. Yeah. You want good bacteria. Not, the bad bacteria that causes all of this and you want at least 80% of the microbiome to be your good bacteria instead of the the bad bacteria. Yep. And you know, Anastasia, there are some people that, have disease of their large intestine or they've had their whole colon removed. And so all of the metabolic pathways that are reliant on your colon, because the bacteria in your colon is fermenting fiber and creating all these very valuable metabolites, including precursors for your neurotransmitters. So people without a colon have a hard time with their brain chemistry. The next time we talk, I can tell you how we created a probiotic that has all those metabolites already done for you, and you can absorb them in your small intestine and bypass the need for them to be created in your colon. Oh, that's excellent. So Bob, thank you so much. Because a lot of people don't wanna live past 80, but you know, when you're 72 going on 73, that's just around the corner. And I'm going, yeah, I got a lot of life I wanna do. Yeah. Yeah. Well, there's a big advantage to being healthy when you're older. You have so much more experience. You've been working on yourself, you've maybe accomplished certain things, and now you can move on to things you never even thought of when you were younger. And when you're feeling well and strong and healthy and you're able to accomplish things, you're able to now start to plan more. Okay, what do I really wanna do? And you can leverage your robust health into psychological health, emotional health, and that also leads you to the desire and the capability to enhance your spiritual health. You can, in an advanced age of 70 or 80, we have a customer who was 106, and you can really have a great chance to create the paradise of your own choosing here on earth because you've got the experience and you've got the knowledge, and you've got the, the right health and the sky's the limit. You, you really become limitless as you get to be older. People think, well, we're gonna drop off as we get older. No, you don't. You actually become more limitless because your thoughts and your spirit are understanding of that. And if your body can follow along and participate, it becomes a very, very pleasant time.
