Trying Matters
Hey, Welcome to Trying Matters!
I started this podcast in March of 2024 with the intention to inspire women to be their authentic selves and go after their big dreams. Along the way, I was a true testament to the title and premise of this podcast, Trying Matters. I explored many avenues of my career, which took me away from going all-in on this podcast and community building journey. Well, as of January 2026, I’m giving it another go! If you’ve found this podcast, you’re in for your own ride, right alongside me, as I explore where life is taking me; career pivots, everyday life struggles, and girl talk are what you’ll be hearing! My goal is still to create community through this podcast by encouraging you to push the limits and try the scary things you’ve been wanting to try through modeling that it’s possible in my own life. It’ll all be recorded right here on Trying Matters for you to listen to at any time. I hope you love it, the old and the new! Let’s freaking go girls!!

Episode 20!! Wow I’m excited, and I hope y’all are too. So today, we are talking about how sometimes the best decisions are not easy. I feel that in life today, we are told, if it’s too hard to do something, we don’t have to go through with it; however, is that truly the best way to go about our lives? I’ve had countless experiences, as I'm sure you have as well, that have taught me that the best pathway forward is not the easy pathway. We often lean into our feelings to guide us and then we’re left in a similar spot to the one we may have been trying to grow from or get out of. Hard work does pay off, and easy is almost a myth in real life. In this episode, I'm giving you real life examples of when the easy isn’t the best option and why the tough experience is the better choice.
Also, ladies, I'm touching on my newly initiated journey to getting off of oral birth control; why I chose to, what research has told me to prepare for, and some of the struggles I've already experienced with making the decision to ditch the artificial hormones. Think of this as an educational opportunity and a relatable story through the lens of my experience. Can’t wait to hear what ya think!
Don't forget to follow/subscribe to the show so you don't miss an episode, and of course, if you love it, share it on socials and tag me @dadams625 so we can connect! Send it on over to ya bestie while you're at it so we can all link up! XOXO
