In this segment, learn about Annie Easley, who worked for NASA as a computer scientist, mathematician, and rocket scientist. Raised by a single mother who encouraged her education, she excelled notwithstanding the challenges of the time for an African-American woman. Outside of working on critical NASA projects, she spent her free time during her career giving back to her community.
