Metabolic Panels Primer
The second most commonly ordered tests in healthcare are metabolic panels. These are either basic (7 tests) or comprehensive (12 tests) and give an overview of electrolytes, kidneys, liver, and glucose.
They are smoke signals in disease detection and monitoring.
