Maori Cannibalism: The Gory Story

Listen to the testimonies of the first European visitors & settlers to New Zealand regarding the practice of cannibalism by Maori. Learn that cannibalism in pre-European New Zealand was more widespread than you probably thought was the case. Wasn’t just confined to adult men and losses in battle. Be warned. This is a grisly episode. The sources and background on each witness are provided. Their books are in most New Zealand Libraries. Along with dozens of other books with similar statements by settlers, explorers, officials etc alike. The recounts here are far from being selective or atypical.
