You got a gift. If you're scrolling on social media and you come across this video, you got a gift. Our gift is something that God gave us and you're probably thinking, but how do I know exactly what my gift is, if God gave me a gift? Your gift is your talent, something that you have a passion doing. You don't mind doing it for hours and hours and you won't get tired of doing it, and it's something that you're very good at it. A lot of people, it intrigues people. It gets people's attention.
Speaker 1:I'm here to tell you that your talent that god gave you, and how to obtain that. You got to go to jesus like, okay, lorenzo, um, if I have a gift and god has given me a gift, then exactly how do I know, um, like, exactly like, how do I get started with it? Like, what do I do? Go to Jesus. He got the answers that everything that you need on what your gift is how to go about, uh, starting it. The people continue to trust Jesus that he gonna connect you with the right people. When I was using my gifts and film and connecting with so many people, the devil tried to deceive me and think that if I give you all this success, all this fame and glamour and all these things and connecting with all these people, that you're going to get to the place where you've always been wanting to go. But I'm here to tell you that the devil is a lie, because God already destined me for greatness and he already had everything that I need to be able to get to the place that I truly need to be Not the place that I want to go, where my heart wants to go, but where God wants me to go, because we can get caught up and distracted on places that where we want to go, places we want to constantly go and travel. But God got us in a place already in his mind where he wants us to be used and be able to receive everything we need, because if we're not ready for whatever we're trying to do, then we're going to be out of line for whatever he's trying to access.
Speaker 1:Your question is if I gotta follow Jesus to receive everything I do, how do I know how to be effective with my craft? How do I become effective with what I really love to do and become good at it, be able to build God's kingdom? My answer is Jesus, the only way that you're going to get good at what you're going to do being the best person at your craft is Jesus. When you seek him, he's going to provide all the tools, all the resources. When I actually started following Jesus and I realized that when I was building his kingdom and he had everything provided for me, he already connected the people to be able to help me become better at what I needed to do.
Speaker 1:The angles and the ideas that I received, it was nothing but the Holy Spirit. I didn't know exactly like how to you know shoot movies and you know write scripts and you know draw and do all these type of things that people actually go to school for and spend most of the time and hours and hours upon hours Like. I didn't know how to do any of that until, like, I just started doing it. I just picked the paper up, started writing, started drawing. Nobody taught me, nobody sat on the phone and had a lecture with me oh, this is how you do this, this is how you hold a camera and shoot a certain angle. But what I realized is when I was in the world, I was just shooting and I knew it was a gift.
Speaker 1:But when I realized that I was building God's kingdom. Every single thing meant something. Every angle that I record on the camera, on the lens, it meant something, because those is not just your eyes that you're watching, those eyes that you're looking at through those lens is eyes through another person that you're going to impact. The way that you record a certain angle, or however you capture a certain person, and however you visualize it, you're impacting somebody's life. You're creating a story that's going to be able to impact their life, and every angle, every scene in their life is a scene that can relate to their life. Everything that you capture and what you're trying to show and present to whatever audience or whatever person on social media that comes across your video, that's going to be able to impact them in a way that you never thought it would be, because it's the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 1:And once you piece all the puzzles together and you piece every scene together and you continue to merge everything and you create your content, your project, your video, once it's done, then you allow God to be the author and director of your life. Watch the beautiful masterpiece that you'll be able to create when you sit back and you watch it on the screen, whether it be a big screen, phone screen or anywhere. When you sit back and watch it and you watch the video that you create, content that you create. Sit back and watch the people that be amazed by your, your work, your talent. You'll sit back and wonder and question yourself how did I do this? It was, it was nothing.
Speaker 1:But God keep Jesus first, build his kingdom, because we're living in time now, where people are searching for next big things, people are searching for the next hot trend. All I got to say is Jesus is the only way. Jesus is everything. He has to be the author and director of your life. Just continue to follow him and, whatever you have a passion in doing, allow God to just create through you and give you the ideas to be able to reach another generation and reach another person who may need Jesus, just by using your gift and trusting in him that he's going to be able to show you everything that you need. Everything you need is in Jesus.
