The Executive Body
You've built a career you're proud of. You run a company, lead a team, and deliver results. But somewhere along the way, your body got left behind.
"I should have this handled." "I start strong, then I fall off." "I can run a business but I can't sort my body." If you've said any of that to yourself, you know exactly what this show is about.
The problem usually isn't effort. Most of the men I work with are already doing a lot, sometimes too much. They're running on discipline and willpower, the same system that worked in their 20s and 30s. But the body changes, and the circumstances change. More isn't the answer. What used to work then, starts working against you now.
The Executive Body is a podcast for high-performing professionals ready to stop grinding harder and start doing what actually works. Hosted by Martin Bugaj, a coach with nearly two decades of experience coaching high-performing men, every episode brings data over guesswork, identity shift over willpower, and sustainability over intensity, because the body you want starts with thinking differently, not just trying harder.

You've been on the blood pressure tablets long enough that you've stopped noticing them. Nobody's worried. Your numbers are managed, your doctor is content, the repeat prescription renews itself in the background. It's the version of health where nothing is exactly wrong and nothing is getting better either.
Chris Hembrough was there a year ago. COO of a 50-person business, 62 years old, a college football career behind him along with two knee replacements and four back surgeries. Then he held his granddaughter and worked out he'd be 80 at her high school graduation.
Twelve months on, he's off the blood pressure medication entirely, off the statins, and his resting heart rate has gone from 70 to 52.
What makes this one worth your time is how little of it was what you'd expect. He already trained. He already liked the gym. The shift was understanding what he was actually eating, and then making every decision before the moment arrived rather than inside it. Eight days of travel, a family wedding and a business trip back to back, and he came home a pound heavier. Friends at a dinner pushed him to skip the gym and he went anyway, without it feeling like a stand.
He is clear that this was never a diet. It was an education, and somewhere around month six it stopped being something he did and became who he is.
