The Executive Body
You've built a career you're proud of. You run a company, lead a team, and deliver results. But somewhere along the way, your body got left behind.
"I should have this handled." "I start strong, then I fall off." "I can run a business but I can't sort my body." If you've said any of that to yourself, you know exactly what this show is about.
The problem usually isn't effort. Most of the men I work with are already doing a lot, sometimes too much. They're running on discipline and willpower, the same system that worked in their 20s and 30s. But the body changes, and the circumstances change. More isn't the answer. What used to work then, starts working against you now.
The Executive Body is a podcast for high-performing professionals ready to stop grinding harder and start doing what actually works. Hosted by Martin Bugaj, a coach with nearly two decades of experience coaching high-performing men, every episode brings data over guesswork, identity shift over willpower, and sustainability over intensity, because the body you want starts with thinking differently, not just trying harder.

Why Your Best Professional Traits Are Wrecking Your Health
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
You solve problems fast, you override discomfort, you look for leverage, and you keep going when other people stop. Those habits built your career. They are also the reason your own body has quietly slipped for years, and no amount of extra discipline has fixed it.
The argument here is that you do not have a discipline problem. You have four professional strengths pointed in the wrong direction, and each one carries a specific cost.
Optimising becomes a substitute for executing, so you can know your testosterone to two decimal places and still not have trained consistently for twelve weeks. Overriding signals works until fatigue, five hours of sleep and a sore back all quietly become normal. Work pays out today and health pays out in five years, which is why health loses. And once being needed becomes part of your identity, the hard part is not finding sixty minutes, it is believing you are allowed to protect them.
