The Executive Body
You've built a career you're proud of. You run a company, lead a team, and deliver results. But somewhere along the way, your body got left behind.
"I should have this handled." "I start strong, then I fall off." "I can run a business but I can't sort my body." If you've said any of that to yourself, you know exactly what this show is about.
The problem usually isn't effort. Most of the men I work with are already doing a lot, sometimes too much. They're running on discipline and willpower, the same system that worked in their 20s and 30s. But the body changes, and the circumstances change. More isn't the answer. What used to work then, starts working against you now.
The Executive Body is a podcast for high-performing professionals ready to stop grinding harder and start doing what actually works. Hosted by Martin Bugaj, a coach with nearly two decades of experience coaching high-performing men, every episode brings data over guesswork, identity shift over willpower, and sustainability over intensity, because the body you want starts with thinking differently, not just trying harder.

I didn't realise how bad I felt until I felt good again.

Your blood work came back fine. Your doctor isn't worried. You're still performing, still getting through the day, so the conversation ends there.
But fine can just mean nothing has gone badly enough yet to force your attention. You are very good at adapting. Energy drops over five years, sleep gets progressively worse, three pounds go on each year, and you absorb all of it without noticing, because compromised has slowly become normal. You would never judge a company on one number in isolation. You would look at the direction.
So this is about what actually changes underneath a transformation. A CEO in his sixties whose triglycerides fell from 217 to the fifties and whose resting heart rate went from around 70 to 52. A finance professional diagnosed with obesity at 40 who looked at the trend rather than the reading. And the numbers that appear on no blood panel at all, like how patient you are at six in the evening, and how much of you is left when you walk through your front door.
Common and inevitable are not the same thing.
