I have been a volunteer at Mary's Place since late in 2019 and I am continually impressed and moved by the wonderful healing energy that is always present there!  Michele is an amazing woman with so much love to give. I am blessed to know her and thought you might like to get to know her and her mission a little better!!  Here is more about her:

Michele Gannon is the Founder and Executive Director of Mary’s Place by the Sea, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women with cancer – mind, body, and soul. Since its founding in 2009, Mary’s Place by the Sea has provided thousands of women with a place for rest, healing, and empowerment outside of the clinical setting.

Under Michele’s compassionate leadership, the organization has grown to include a dedicated team of seven full-time employees, 75 volunteers, and 55 practitioners who together carry out its deeply meaningful mission.
Raised in a military family, Michele experienced life in seven states and two foreign countries, shaping her adaptable spirit and strong sense of service. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Longwood University and her Master of Arts from West Virginia University. While her professional background spans several industries, Michele’s role as a servant leader at Mary’s Place by the Sea is the most fulfilling calling of her life.

Michele is married to her husband, Paul, and they are the proud parents of three children: Paul (23), Riley (21), and Daniel (18). In her free time, Michele enjoys powerwalking along the Jersey Shore boardwalk, hiking, swimming, and snorkeling during her frequent visits to Hawaii, where her daughter attends college. She is continually deepening her faith and devotion to Jesus and His Mother, which remains at the heart of her personal and professional journey.\
