Dr. Charles Reigeluth

Charles Reigeluth is internationally known for his work on instructional theory, learner-centered education, and systemic change in public schools. His research focuses on paradigm change in education, high-quality instruction design, and technology systems that support personalized, learner-centered models. Since 2001, he has worked closely with Decatur Township Schools in Indianapolis to support transformative educational practices. 


Dr. Reigeluth has authored 11 books and over 160 articles and chapters, with two books earning "Outstanding Book of the Year" from AECT. He has led numerous funded projects and co-founded AECT’s Division for Systemic Change. His honors include AECT’s "Distinguished Service" award and BYU’s "Honored Alumnus" award. Helping schools achieve dramatic, sustainable improvement is his life’s work.
