This podcast underpins my Flippin' and Vibin' brand to flip the script on traditional or normative narratives creating inequity to the self, society, sport, education, the arts & culture, as with many other disciplines. My podcast covers two strands of groups who look to flip the script in their career, research, activism and sport through (i) hearing the voices and stories of academics, educators, community activists, students, organizational heads etc., while on the other hand covering (ii) people involved within sport (e.g., athletes, trainers, coaches).

Flippin’ social contracts: Coaching colleagues, young people, and the self with Ian Hewitt

In this episode I vibe with our enrichment Viber, Ian Hewitt. Ian Hewitt is a husband and father from Durham (Brandon) England. For his career he is a coach and Manager. Specifically, coaching the Team Durham university Men’s 1 basketball team, and the Strategic Manager of Sport and Enrichment at Bede Sixth Form College. Much of his roles are around enhancing the lives of young people and adults to become leaders navigating this complex world.
Vibe in to get a sense of Ian’s story and the ways in which social contracts are understood and flipped for young people and leaders.
