Dr. Phillip Cornish
Dr Philip Cornish is a consultant anaesthetist and pain specialist with over 25 years of clinical and academic experience in Pain Medicine. He has broad expertise in the management of acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain, with a particular focus on interventional pain techniques. Dr Cornish has published extensively in the international medical literature and is the recipient of both the Gilbert Brown Prize and the John Ritchie Prize for research in pain medicine. His doctoral degree was also awarded for research in this field. He works closely with multiple medical specialties, including neurosurgery, orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, rehabilitation medicine, psychiatry, and palliative care, reflecting a highly collaborative approach to complex pain care.
