If you’re the person everyone counts on, this message is for you. I’m talking to the hard workers who show up, carry the load, and keep grinding even when they’re running on fumes, because that’s what has always worked. But there’s a turning point where effort stops being the solution and starts becoming the thing that drains you. When you hit that wall, “try harder” is not brave. It’s automatic.

I break down why exhaustion isn’t a character flaw, weakness, or proof you’re falling behind. It’s information. It’s your life quietly telling you that the way you’ve been operating has reached its limits. We look at the trap of meeting burnout with more of what caused it, the pressure high achievers put on themselves, and the mindset shift that helps you move from raw hustle to sustainable growth. If you care about productivity, leadership, work-life balance, and long-term performance, this is a quick listen that lands hard.

Then I leave you with a question worth sitting with: where are you trying to outwork a problem that effort was never going to solve? If you’re carrying more than you can name and want help sorting it out, I also share how to connect with me for growth coaching. Subscribe, share this with a hard worker you respect, and leave a review so more people can find the kind of support that keeps ambition from turning into burnout.

Welcome To The Hotline

SPEAKER_00

You're listening to the Growth Instigators Hotline. I'm Aaron Havens, and this is message 606. If you're alive, you're leaving something. And what makes you better at one makes you better at all of them. So let's grow. I

A Message For Hard Workers

SPEAKER_00

want to talk to the hard workers today. The ones who show up, who carry the load, who've never once been accused of not trying. This one's for you. Hard work got you here. Whatever you've built, the reputation, the skills, the trust people have in you. It was earned by grinding when other people quit. That's real. And nobody can take that from you.

When Hard Work Turns Into Drain

SPEAKER_00

But here's the part no one is saying or talking about. The very thing that got you here can't be the thing, or it can actually be the thing that wears you down from here. Because at some point, just work harder stops being the answer. You keep pushing, keep pouring yourself in, keep doing what you've always worked, and somehow you're more tired and no further ahead. The tank isn't refilling like it used to. And your instinct, being who you are, is to push even harder to out effort the exhaustion. Haha, my friends, that never works. You can't rest your way out of working by working. You can't work your way out by resting harder. Here's

Tiredness As Useful Information

SPEAKER_00

what I want you to hear today. This is for me as well. Being this tired isn't a character flaw. It's not weakness. It's not proof you're falling behind. It's information. It's your life quietly, telling you that the way you've been doing things has reached its limits. That's it. And something has to change. Not because you failed, but because you outgrew it. Einstein supposedly said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. And that's most of us with exhaustion, meeting it with one more exactly what caused it. And wondering why nothing improves.

The Question That Changes Everything

SPEAKER_00

The brave move isn't more effort. Anyone can just try harder. That's the easy answer. The hard and honest move is to stop and ask a different question. Not how do I push through this, but what needs to change so I don't have to? So here's your question today. Where in your life are you trying to outwork a problem that effort

was never going to solve? And if you're carrying more than you can name and want help sorting it out, that's what I'm here for. I'm a growth coach. One on, one or in your company, whatever it may be, just visit me at growthinstigators.com and let's chat. Until next time, go slay the day, my friends.
